After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    Good afternoon, my friends!
    Like every day, I spent some quality time going thru the comments on this site and then I visited MJs.
    Maybe it is only my imagination, but it seems to me that our beloved Nele was banned from MJs as well, cause I didn’t see her commenting on Kris thread. Kris, her saviour and light of the day.
    Since Adam and Kris albums drop 1 week apart, I expect some idiotic fanwar on MJ, or maybe by that time all troublemaker will be banned.
    BTW,I promised my friend, who goes regularly to gym, a good album to excercise to… at least the first half of that. Smile
    UPDATE: I just saw Nele on numbers thread, putting down Kelly and Daughtry. What else is new?

    Speaking on Idol, that I usually watch doing something else, I noticed one thing that all of you will agree with me.
    Standing Ovation lost all its meaning.
    When Simon gave Adam standing O, this was really something significant. Thru all my years of watching Idol(season 5-10), I don’t remember Simon getting up for anybody.
    Now the Holy Trinity gets up 6 times/per show on average. Right after JLo wipes out her tears.
    Maybe the seats are uncomfortable and the wanna stretch their legs? Who knows?

    I agree that the standing ovation is quickly becoming meaningless on that show.
    We also need to take into account the judges who are now there versus Simon and his crew. These judges pretty much love everything and anything performed in front of them. Frown

    If you read the comments on the MTV site there are many people voting for Green Day just to keep Adam from winning. Need to tweet this out to the Adam masses. LOL

    I just found out about Cook selling his house. I remember the discussion why Adam is renting, why is he not buying, his finances are in a terrible shape, he’s broke, and another nonsense.
    If anything, Adam is the most bussiness savvy of 99% of the Idols. Recycling is his middle name. He rents beautiful place, his BMW is pre-owned, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he still managed to earn at least 1 mill in the year of doing nothing.

    Only one more day of promo so Adam won’t have to deal with the
    Queen situation. I’ll bet in the end everyone will be happy. I really feel things happen for a reason and that it will even be better than before.

    Have drawn a blank. Wasn’t Chokehold one of them, yet I don’t think it’s in the running for the next single. NCOE wasn’t one of the 4 either. All I have in my head is Cuckoo right now!

    If you’re so inclined, Adam needs votes in the MTV poll. Green Day is gaining fast and Adam has lost almost all of his lead. Almost a dead heat now. And some Green Day fans have started to throw homophobic slurs, if you need motivation. 30 mins to go.

    I’m tired of these polls – my hand’s falling off – what’s the purpose of them? Do they do Adam any good in any way? Do these sites just want hits and know they’ll get them if Adam’s name is there. Let’s boycott these polls – I’d be interested in that. Piss on them all.

    Bummer about GD eeking out the win. On another subject, anyone know anything about the Miami Herald guy, Howard Cohen, and why he dislikes Adam? Earlier tonight, he had tweeted that, in essence, he’s glad Adam’s not going to be doing Sonisphere with Queen. When some Adam fan questioned his tweet, they got into this whole conversation in which he said things like Adam can’t do his own career justice, let alone fill Freddie’s shoes; that Adam isn’t right for classic rock; that he used to be a fan of Adam until his post-Idol tour, new single and arrogance turned him off. Odd thing is, I looked the guy up, and he gave GlamNation a pretty good review after he saw it at the Hard Rock, wrote a really nice write-up after Adam sang “Sleepwalker” on Leno and praised Adam’s cover of WLL. At one point he asked a tweeter how many interviews they’d done and insinuated that Adam was neither humble nor gracious. I could only find one interview he’d done with Adam, and that was way back when Adam was on Idol. Just wondering if anyone knows what turned this guy into a non-fan?

    Adams tweet of hopefully sharing a stage with Queen sometime in the future doesn’t sound promising at all for anything happening this summer, much less in the UK during the originally scheduled time period. Huge exposure – wiped out. The next single is going to have to be a mega hit, else I fear a second Cook album type fate for Trespassing.

    I don’t like those polls either – winning them doesn’t help Adam materially and losing them gives the haters something else to carp about.

    This particular MTV Musical March Madness is a one time a year battle for fun. I suppose it gives a little recognition, and he actually got pretty far considering the big name artist on the brackets.
    I got motivated when there were slurs being thrown at Adam and the fandom by some other fans. For a while there it was very uniting, working together for a cause.
