February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Here is the makings of a great SNL skit: a vintage band looking for a new frontman trying to pinch Adam out from under the noses of Brian and Roger.

    WOW!! WE MADE IT!! Last week, when I jokingly set a goal of 2700 posts for March, I wasn’t sure we’d make it. But then, I didn’t know Adam would be at the iHeart awards! We made it with time to spare! Big Smile

    Proudly re-tweeted that one ulti. Sadly I bought from Magazine Cafe because Newsstand was technically sold out when I ordered. NVM they seem to be selling well. Maybe they will issue 500 more if we buy this batch up today.

    The Rolling Stones tour schedule appears much more accommodating than Queen + Adam’s which, compared to the Rolling Stones, was truly grueling.

    RS have given themselves a minimum of 3 nights off in between shows with a number of instances of 4 nights off.

    Well, they are a little older than Brian and Roger. I guess that’s part of it.

    Adam sang “Satisfaction” on Idol… One of his reasons to choose the song is because it is his mother’s favorite band.

    Am not that familiar with the Stones… My top 3 songs would be:
    1. Satisfaction
    2. Harlem shuffle
    3. Paint it black (Idol’s Siobhan Magnus version though.. I was also influenced by the TV serie “Tour of Duty”)

    Yay!!! Stones in my town!!! They are “opening ” Summerfest in a great venue, and there will be fireworks!!! I just hafta go, it’s a bucket list thing.

    Anybody want to come to my town and see a show?

    The tickets go on sale while I am at work, I may need to use a ticket bastard, unless I can get a couple of hours off to try and get tix.

    I’m serious! Any takers????

    GTG. Picking up #2 son fresh from La Guardia and major airport fiascos, two cancelled flights, one with an engine that had a “big piece” fall off before boarding. OMGOMGOMG

    So many text messages and airport scrambles, he’s only 20, has travelled a LOT, but, man, I will be so glad to see him and hug the stuffing out of him!!

    I love the Stones and I have them on my iPhone. Favourites: Jumping Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Ruby Tuesday, Paint it Black, Harlem Shuffle, Honky Tonk Women, As Tear Go By, Wild Horses.

    Mick is probably the reason the concerts are 3 days apart. My brother is a huge fan and says Keith Richards would tour all the time if he could. Mick has the upper hand. Laugh

    Sheesh mils. A “big piece” falling off the plane is pretty scary. With all the bad news lately, airlines must be having a hard time. People start making their holiday decisions about now.

    Oh sorry ulti. I didn’t realize what the links at 5:56 were for. It just took me 10 minutes to figure out how to reduce the picture of Adam and show Stewie, who is the cutest dog going. NVM – I’m a dingbat.
