As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.
After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. This was not a new song. It was leaked. It was recorded back when he worked with Nikka Costa. It was not on Trespassing. Adam explained it all on twitter tonight. He only put on the album songs he wanted us to hear. He is not writing new songs yet. He is not putting out a CD of Trespassing rejects.
He was actually funny about it all on twitter. Called the people who found it pirates. LOL. We call them ninjas.

Yes. I’ve done the challenge for three years, and last year was the first time I made it to the 50,000. It’s crap, of course, but I’ve been working on editing it. I still like the premise of the book, so it’s been a pleasure to revisit it and tighten it up a bit.
I like my idea for this year, but I don’t have the end plotted out. I think my characters are going to have to figure this one out for me. Day one should be pretty easy. It’s the rest of the month I have to worry about!

Good to hear from you Oksana. Thanks for letting us know. I’m holding out hope that all of you who have family in the affected areas (or are in those areas) will soon see a good recovery. It does take time, though. When those 36 foot waves washed ashore on our Mississippi Coastline during Katrina, we lost a lot. New Orleans got lots of publicity because of the subsequent flooding, but we here in Miss. were hit hardest by the storm itself. Seven years later, the evidence is still there in many areas. But we pulled together and had each others’ backs. Much like Oksana‘s friends. That’s so important at a time like this.

So glad that I stopped back in to see the twitter exchange! I love love love that Adam has conversations with us via twitter. They seem and sound so natural.
On a recent interview he was asked if it is difficult to make friends, now that he is famous…I have posted before that I think he rather thinks of us collectively as a friend; a sometimes somewhat exasperating friend, but a friend who has his back – and with whom he enjoys interacting. In Ste Agathe, the feeling that he had actually missed us was so palpable! (and of course we loved that lol) He came and sat on the edge of the stage, leaned out toward us, asked how we had been, what we had been doing…and he seemed genuinely to want to know the answers.
Woohoo! My power is back on!!! I spent the day under a pile of covers in bed reading until we got power and heat 2 hours ago. Now I’m sitting at the Adam Lambert shrine, aka, the computer, at home catching up on all things Adam. Life is back to normal!
It will be interesting to see what Adam does with the South African shows. I really like Terrance and would love to see the return of the dancers in some form for the tour. As for the band, just to clarify my brief comments from last night, Brian, Tommy and Ashley sound great together and have good chemistry with Adam on stage. I’m just hoping for Isaac’s return. I really liked him and how well he worked with the rest of the band. The VJJ’s have wonderful energy and are fine when they sing only back up. It’s when they sing too loud or try to harmonize with Adam that it detracts from Adam’s voice and just doesn’t work for me. As for Adam, he is always an incredible vocalist and performer no matter what.
Kradamour, I’m sorry to say I’ve never been to Paris. So if Adam has a show in Paris, I’ll go in a second! Unlike watching pig races, going to Paris really is on my bucket list.
