nkd, this was from your post near the end of the February chat. I wanted to mention that I was flipping channels over this past weekend and came upon VH1 Classic channel. They were showing Knebworth from 2010 or 2011 (can’t remember). The crowd was unbelievable. Right at that moment, I knew that I really wouldn’t have been able to tolerate the crowds and the heat/sun there out in the open, so I’m glad I never REALLY entertained trying to make the trip.
I AM very happy for those who are planning to go. This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. I know it will also be great for those who go if you can definitely get together because that was one of the great things about Ste. Agathe—the love and appreciation for each other. So, those of us left here will be all eyes and ears.
I was thinking this afternoon about the total amount donated to Charity Water this year being down considerably. Right now, peeps are busily buying Adam magazines, CD’s, putting money away for planning that trip to wherever Adam might suddenly appear—as well as tickets, etc, for the tour that we anticipate before the end of the year. I guess that could explain why the donations haven’t matched last year’s.
Lots of fans are on limited budgets. I know I am really watching my dollars right now because I am updating the house that my mom left my brother and me (and I live here). I had even disconnected the cable because I so rarely watched TV. Mom was the TV lady. But my friend had DirecTV installed last week so he would be able to call me up and discuss programming and news that I was missing. Little did he know that he just gave me more channels (such as Logo, Fuse, etc.) to watch Adam—more than I ever had available to me before. YES!!!!! He is not a particular Adam fan (Johnny Cash is his guy), but he loves to see me all-aflutter over Adam and Adam stuff.
Okay, I see my avatar up there a couple of times, so I will say this and then get off here for the night. I haven’t posted in probably the last two weeks. I’ve been here pretty much just trying to keep up. Yes, rainbowgal4 and everyone else who brings goodies home for us, we want you to keep it up. They are much appreciated.

Ceddies and nkd thanks for the early morning treats. The mash up gave me chills and as always the FS WLL gave me thrills. I had forgotten how absolutely sexy that performance was. I am keeping my fingers crossed that some of us will win radio concerts. If DC area folks want to do an informal hang around the Gibson Guitar center in DC in hopes of meeting Adam on his way in or out I may be up for that.

Good morning…adamized, Hi!….I wish Adam would come to my town. Nobody knows who he is and none of the stations play BTIKM so I’m sure I’d have a great chance of winning!
Been checking the D.C. location of Gibson Guitar – 709 G Street, N.W. – near the corner of 7th and G – across from Verizon Center – Chinatown Metro Station closest. Says Gibson is #400 – so may be just somewhere in the building. Telephone number is (202) 393-1006. It’s a lunchtime concert which is good – wouldn’t have to deal with a.m. traffic. But, of course, don’t know what time he would be arriving. I’ll probably call Gibson and see if a fan gathering outside the building would be OK. If I go will try to bring a decent gathering of my clan – the more the merrier (and louder – lol).

I loved so many songs on FYE. But the one that stopped me in my tracks was Soaked. IMO OOL will be this albums Soaked. I cannot wait to hear him do it on the album. Hopefully it won’t get overworked like Soaked did. Soaked on tour was near perfect. The one and only tour stop I got to was Des Moines. I was so pumped for Soaked. He started and so did the fireworks!!! Just broke the spell of the song. So disappointed!!

Woot! I just had a great Adam moment. I saw on twitter than BTIKM was being played on some new stations, so I checked the website of requestadamlambert.com and saw that my local Cumulus HAC station is now playing it! Which is fantastic because they were slow to add WWFM and IIHY. So I walked straight into the kitchen and turned the radio on to that station — and what was playing? That’s right – BTIKM!! It was awesome. I did a double fist pump in the air. LOL That’s the first time I’ve heard BTIKM over the airwaves. I sent the station a nice tweet thanking them.
I’ll catch up with all of these goodies tomorrow.
Today it’s a sad day for me that Lucio Dalla RIP. I’ll listen to some of his music tonight. Ciao !!!

I was listening to Elvis Duran & the Morning Show on NY Z100. They did the Top Songs in different genres and then number 1 song this week for each DJ. Danielle Monaro, the DJ who interviewed her on 2/14/12 said the #1 song for her this week is BTIKM. Woohoo! The morning show is syndicated on over 40 radio stations nationwide. Danielle loves Adam. She said he’s like her vampire and believe me, she’s obsessed with vampires.
I just won tickets to see Adam in Houston on Tuesday! The dj was crazier than me!!!!

The sorry text were coming and then I noticed a different one and had to scroll back to it and it said Congrats you are the winner to go see Adam Lambert! I actually screamed loudly at that point! Texted Texas to let her know, then called the number. This dj lady was hilarious! She’s a Glambert!
I told her I would be calm, that I just want a hug. She said she wouldn’t be, she wants to hump his leg!
