December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.
A lot of holiday cheer to look forward to!
Choosing a photo for the monthly threads is never easy. However, it’s his most recent look that is getting attention. Since it may not last long, I thought that most of you would enjoy the look from the Mnet Awards – fierce, defiant, always unpredictable Adam.

I remember him very well and it was about “Trespassing”. He worked in radio, or so he claimed, and heard it in advance of its release, and was so detailed in what it sounded like, I believed him. Or at least I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
He was all wrong about it and nobody ever heard from him again.

I recognized Adam on the Three Waiters video, in the very last song singing the line “my love won’t wait” at about 3;16 in his high tenor voice. He’s the one in the middle. Just that one part – couldn’t recognize him in any earlier part, though.

I played it on my iPhone. It took a little bit to play. I hit the middle arrow of the video and just waited. You have to go to 12 min. in and it is only a few seconds.

Y’know – in that vid, aely, the older guy on Adam’s left looked very much like the guy munching lunch during the Duet – and think at the very end of the Duet, catch a glimpse of him again clapping (arms raised).

I’ve watched that Three Waiters vid a few times, and that middle guy at the end just doesn’t look like Adam to me. He seems too old and too short to be Adam. And it just doesn’t really look like his face or his hair, either. I know he was heavier back then, but still… I’m not convinced.

You may be right cwm. I just went back and looked a few more times. It sounds like him but doesn’t look like him. Confused….I guess that we will just have to wait until they release their clip of him singing and then we can compare.
Well I bow to riskylady’s eagle eyes but I don’t see it myself. The guy said he would post a video with Adam in it. That looks like their standard corporate video. Maybe the Adam one is still coming.

Is Adam’s interview with Wendy Williams pre-taped or does he have to go straight back to LA for that? It’s Dec. 10th.
You know, Adam’s offer to duet with Aurea was probably off-the-cuff but it was a brilliant idea because it indirectly addresses two concerns potential dueters might have. First of all, it shows that he can make a duet with a woman utterly believable. Secondly, it shows what a generous performer he is; no one has to worry about him blowing them out of the water in a shared preformance.
We know all these things but a lot of people probably don’t know him as well as we do.
Love that Mr, Hennesey. He kept appearing throughout the live stream and looked bored a fair bit. He was standing up for Adam’s performance, though, and he even snapped some pics of it with his camera.
He has good taste. I might try his wine.
More to the point, that event was co-sponsored by LVMH, a dominant and prestigious international brand. I could see an ad of Adam in a hotel lobby, his long, long, black leather- encased legs wrapped around Louis Vuitton luggage like a dancer straddling the back of a chair. Those smoky eyes looking out at you and the caption… Can’t think of one yet.
LVMH is international. Adam is international. An ad with him in it could play in many markets.
The only Adam content here is that, in spite of this song being the most covered song in the past 50 years, I do love it and would absolutely melt if I ever heard Adam sing it, even I don’t think there is much chance of it. This is an article about the history of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”. Interesting reading and the original meaning of the song suits Adam.

Aw, asif, I miss having you as my neighbor and playing with you while everyone else is asleep. Fortunately, HK Fan is still here, NorthernLady is in my time zone, and a few hardy souls like cwm never go to bed. Things have settled down on the Gaza border, and life has returned to normal, but Syria is worrying. Life is never dull in the Middle East.
