December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.

I just came on for a few minutes before I go off to my sculpture class and I see cwmthat you snuck in a comment that yesterday was your birthday! I don’t even have time to continue reading the rest of the comments but I had to scroll down and wish you a slightly belated birthday (through no fault of my own, you didn’t warn us). What a fabulous gift to you this concert was! I hope that you got a good quality live stream and if Adam had known that it was your birthday, then that little wave he did during the show would have been for you. I hope that we get a chance to spend some time together when the “non-tour” makes it to the NW. The Puyallup concert was way too quick and we never really had a chance to relive the concert in the wee hours of the morning with fellow Glamberts which is often the best part!

Finally got time to watch the vids. I was lucky to see AYGGMW from the stream before I left yesterday – I kept the stream going while I was packing etc. Then I recognized his voice again – just loved that duet! I had not heard that song before I heard Adam singing it in SA, but I love it sang by him! And the match with Aurea was perfect – girl knew how to be fierce too
I watched the vid of the whole show with good head phones and felt the same like with the stream – Adam’s voice was clear but the background playing etc was slightly blurry. Of course the sound was fine compared to some other streams or fan vids, but I was thinking in my mind it should be tv show quality which I realized it was not (only a stream, not televised?). But OMG Adam’s voice – it felt like a knife cutting the air. I can only imagine what it sounded live there! Liked the IIHY entrance, Fever and Trespassing with high notes it was so great!

I saw your comments HK Fan and appreciate them. MJ is boycotting Adam on purpose because she hates his fans and feels that we whine about him not getting his due and attack anyone who criticizes him. She never liked him much to begin with, and we are a large and vocal group, and we just seem to push her buttons. I am not defending her. I think that as a blog moderator she should be more civil, but as people have said, it is her blog and she can do with it as she pleases. I think that the sad thing for many of us is that it used to be so good. It was the sane place to go for Idol news and intelligent discussions, and we all felt thankful to MJs for bringing so many of us together. It is just sad to see what has happened to her and we find it hard to completely cut the ties and walk away.

I just found out that I’m completly banned from MJs, however my post is still there. Maybe I “liked” some comments too much.
Should I wear that ban as a badge of honour? I don’t know. I find her blog extremely cluttered, she is losing readers due to a Twitter phenom, but alienating peeps that give her hits is not very wise. Of course she is counting on the new batch of readers who follow Scotty and P2. Since Scotty and P2 are non-controversial she might find pretty soon that nobody gives rats ass about them in a year or two – therefore no discussions.
Anyway, it’s her blog, she can do what she wants.
I saw other blogs dying because posters were banned right and left whenever they posted something that blog owner didn’t like.

HAHA I to, HKFAN, get a little thrill to see if I can post over there without getting deleted or banned. Never have, I try to say something that the fans will get that isnt aganist the rules, but gotta stop as its not good for my health, I get really shaky about it. What makes me mad is that there are people posting on there that are getting in trouble and wish I could tell them about this site if they dont know about it. They are trying to have a good discussion about Adams whereabouts, maybe unaware of MJs deep hate feelings for Adam and his fans. IDK. How did this all blow up, maybe people e-mailing and sending tweets, about it and she in her “Its my Blog, I can do what I want” way, SMH, she needs to grow up, its really a shame because believe it or not, there are people that do want to hear about what Adam is doing.

I am not happy with MJs attitude, but she did have Adam’s SA events in the headline thread on the 16th and 17th and on the 18th and 19th she had a thing in each headline thread about the VH1 Divas thing, and another name mention related to VH1 Divas on the 20th’s headlines thread. Then there was nothing until the 27th when she had something on the new tattoo. Then just a reference to VH1 divas again on the 28th when Kelly Clarkson was added to the line-up. So she appears to have stopped including him and his music events in the headline threads once he left SA, which perhaps was because hoardes of fans complaining to her on twitter or something about not having more than 2 lines in a headlines thread that Adam was playing there. Not sure. It is odd since she will include stuff about Matt Giraud and Elliot playing somewhere, but I have noticed that these are usually links to an article that is reported elsewhere – not something she writes herself. So for whatever reason, she is not choosing to link to articles about Adam’s events.
Regarding the deletion of comments: I think I understand some of that – since it has always been the rule to not talk about the blog or how it is run – on the blog. We are supposed to email or tweet about those issues. But that is like saying there is no recourse, because MJ can’t have a civil conversation about the subject when it involves Adam and you email her or twitter her. If she could just tolerate a little flailing and give reasonable responses, then reasonable people might realize – hey – that makes sense. But instead she seems to go out of her way to alienate. This is very Un-Adam, who is all-inclusive, so perhaps it is good karma that she does not cover him much?

Maybe I’m overenthusiastic about their relationship but it seems to be the one that one calls perfect match. Two halves of one apple. They both have sunny disposition, share similar interests and both of them have that independence streak. Both of them came from healthy family environment and are talented eye candy.
It’s a miracle that they found each other in that seedy bar that Adam was talking about during Aftermath introduction. LOL.

I think that MJ just realised that if she doesn’t give Adam his own threads we will just keep taking over her headlines threads, to the chagrin of other readers. There is nothing she can do about it. She can’t ignore him (or us). He is just too big.
Since I never post on MJs I will comment on the duet here. While I preferred Adam the part where Adam sang his own songs (that is what I saw live), the duet was lots of fun. Adam is a master of duets and he uses all his interpersonal and communication skills to connect with the person he is singing with to make it so special. They compliment and complete eachother, they don’t try and compete with eachother. But we have known that for years. Remember Slow Ride with Allison! It paved the way for duets on Idol and was one of the highlights of the AI tour that summer.
And I haven’t seen anyone commenting on the guitar solo. I think that Tommy did Adam, and us, proud. I loved it!

That’s a wonderful point to make. I was most struck by this during the Idol finale show when Adam was singing “We Are The Champions” with Kris. Adam could have easily overpowered Kris but that’s something he wouldn’t even think of doing. He was following Kris. Where Adam could have soared with the last few words of the song … “of the world” … (unless I’m imagining it), Adam is a half-second behind Kris because he wanted to match him and not overshadow him.
That comes from working in the theatre as an ensemble. At least that’s the way it’s supposed to work. There are those entertainers/actors who will do anything to make themselves the focus no matter what. But Adam isn’t one of them.
He’s a very generous performer.
He and Aurea worked perfectly together.
I never notice. Isn’t that terrible? Don’t like to admit it. I didn’t realize it until now but I really don’t pay attention.
I’m just waiting for Adam to start singing again.
I don’t even see him when he’s on stage and I’m in the audience! I remember in Ste.-Agathe, we were 45 minutes into the show when I first saw Tommy. “Oh, there’s Tommy! He’s here too”.

I agree rs, Tommy did great. But then, I always liked his guitar playing, which I noticed when he had to fill in for Monte – forgot when this was exactly. It was especially clear to me on Sleepwalker, it was nice and crisp, where Monte’s playing was muddled (to my ears at least).
I also complimented Tommy over at MJ’s.
