December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.
A lot of holiday cheer to look forward to!

Last evening I had my own Adam “trip” and watched again many great moments from this year. I have downloaded all the vids of officially filmed shows before they take them away.
I had a private “pre-Christmas” with my guy on Friday evening and yesterday before he headed to his own relatives. Today some duties to do at home and tomorrow morning I’ll go to my mom’s, where I’m going to spend my Christmas.
I want to wish Merry Christmas ALL peeps who celebrate it, and for those who don’t, have great days off / time otherwise

I did see that Sauli’s favorite performance on the Divas show was Natasha Bedingfield’s performance. That was my favorite also (aside from Adam’s)…don’t recall anyone else mentioning liking it. Liked Miley’s also.

‘Mornin’ to everyone. I’m with the majority on Santa Baby. I prefer choirs singing carols to pop songs, unless it’s John Lennon singing “And so this is Christmas” or Bob Geldolf leading a rousing chorus of “Feed the World.”

It was @glamidol who found out that they were moving.
She’s had a couple of horrible days with the Chinese Adommy crays. They reported her to the Youku authorities and her account, full of Adam videos for Chinese fans to see, was taken down. They then posted the same copywrighted videos she was busted for on their site and tried to lure people over.
The reason they reported her? She cut Tommy out of an Adam photo. (She cuts everyone out of Adam photos.)
She’s back-up-and-running and she outlined what happened on Twitter. Fans from all over have been weighing in.
Imho, this still looks like an attempt to take away her hard-earned fan base so that the challengers can become the official conduit for TPTB promoting Adam in China. Tommy fandom is just the leverage point.
TG we have a free market and multi-Adam sites thriving all over the place. And no official leakers outside of Adam and Shoshanna.
That Ad Hoc choir is a wonderful idea, jlurksacto. Choir singing seems to get competitive pretty fast. People used to sing together for the sheer fun of it a lot more in the old days (when we 29-year-olds were kids.) In the UK they sang in church, at football games and in pubs. Very little of that any more.
As part of it’s performing arts public school program, Toronto was considering a Choir School. Don’t know if it’s still under consideration or not. It would be nice.

It looks like our guy is winning lots of year-end polls, has his CD on many best of lists, and is happily re-settled in a new abode with his love. That picture of him out and clubbing was all kinds of happy. He had high wavy hair ( love that ), minimal makeup ( love that ) and no gloves ( love that ) and possibly no nail polish, a rare event indeed.
I also love it when I spot that he and Sauli share accessories. Sometimes Adam wears that necklace, sometimes Sauli wears that necklace. Cute.
So, what’s next to speculate about? When do they leave for Bali? And what happens after Bali? Hmmmm. Tap…Tap…Tap…
I wonder about the Chinese controversy about YouKou and Adommmy crays. I do hear from my brother in China how difficult it is to access Western media. Some of it is just simply because it is Western. Some of it is because of cultural differences.
For instance, I was telling him about the Jerry Seinfeld webisodes of Comedians Driving in Cars Getting Coffee, which are all kinds of hilarious, and he could only access one. The Larry David episode. He absolutely loved it. The rest were blocked. He said it was because he saw online descriptions of them which said they weren’t funny, so they are blocked. One culture’s “funny” often doesn’t translate to another culture. China is virtually the only country in the world that doesn’t air Seinfeld or find him humorous.
So, I wonder what the perception is of Adam outside of great big Shanghai?

Calgary, interesting question. There was recently an article in our paper discussing progress in gay rights in our area. It was a series I think. One of the articles discussed just that. The main finding was that, at least in my city, several of the older more established gay bars had closed.
Because gay people were going to “straight” clubs, and were accepted there. Also, many “straight” dance clubs were having “gay” themes and nights, and were so popular, the older more “traditional” gay clubs were seeing a significant drop off in business. When they talked to young people at both clubs, they all in general felt that it didn’t matter anymore to classify who goes where. A night out is a night out.
The writers felt that this was a societal shift. Especially in such a blue collar town like mine.
But, they still talked about gays being targeted and beaten and bullied in some neighborhoods and near some venues. But the stats were way down in the last decade or so.
Maybe our area is different. I don’t know. We have had out gay legislators for years. We just elected the first out gay state senator in US history. And the man who took her seat in congress is an out gay man.
BUT. Our Governor is still just as conservative as our Paul Ryan. And they both scare me for many reasons.

mils, in a very early interview years ago I remember Adam talking about enjoying going to both gay clubs an will as “straight” ones. Maybe “mixed” would be a better term, or non-designated, or whatever. Hopefully, in a post gay age there won’t be labels.
Back when I used to go to clubs, I loved going to gay clubs because they were just, well, more fun. The music was better, the people were more outgoing and fun-loving. There was so much more laughter in gay clubs. I know this sounds stereotypical, but, it was true in my experience.
I have no idea how gay guys feel about straight women at “their” clubs. Maybe somebody here could enlighten us.
