December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.
A lot of holiday cheer to look forward to!

HA! I think Terrance is very sexy and cute. Love his smile and those big ol’ dimples. He has tremendous stage presence and such a powerful and skilled dancer. I think he adds a lot to Adam’s shows.BUT. He doesn’t send me to Nirvana like Adam does.

If anyone is interested, I wrote a lengthy paper about the Defense of Marriage Act a while back…it isn’t current with the recent state actions, but gives (IHMO) an excellent exposition of the background and the underpinnings of the arguments against, both legal and practical. I am a lawyer, but I wrote this for presentation at a non-lawyer conference.

I am intrigued and a little bit surprised by the decision of the court to hear the cases. They didn’t have to, and there are some classic reasons to wait (allowing the individual states to act as laboratories, etc.). I had thought that it would be another year or so before the Supremes would take up the issue.

Here’s what I know …
Yesterday morning at 8:00am, TLKC began winging her way south via train …
… to Syracuse, New York home of our beloved luval.
At 4:00pm, beloved luval emailed me to say she was at the train station. TLKC’s train was due to arrive at 4:11pm. I’ve heard nothing further so I assume it pulled in on time.
A brief drive through downtown Syracuse to show TLKC all of the city’s Christmas decorations was to follow with a final touch down at luval’s house.
luval sent me a video clip of the guest room where TLKC will be staying. Wow! Beautifully furnished complete with a decorated Christmas tree! That bed looks to die for! I now know where Kradamour, adamized and Ceddies once spent the night on their way to Ste.-Agathe. Really lovely!
Dinner was going to be at a restaurant and then an early-evening-to-bed for this morning’s trip.
As I type, TLKC and luval are winging their way south via car …
… for the 4-and-a-half hour drive to NYC. They should arrive at their hotel at check in time this afternoon.
I think the plan is for dinner tonight with Adamized? Then on to the Beacon Theatre and on with the show!

I’m not thinking clearly. Maybe it’s the Buckley’s-tastes-so-bad-but-it-works cough syrup, glugs of NyQuil, Drixoral No Drip nasal spray and AC&C with codeine tablets. You think? 
But now I’m going back to my death bed and moan a lot.
Oh ron, poor baby, feel better, I have some lovely ginger and lemon tea that I make when I have a cold and I add lots of honey and cognac (when I could still drink alcohol). Always made me feel better. Other than that find a Jewish mother to make you some chicken soup!

I say he’s giving it up because that’s a hella rent to pay if you’re not there for a few months, right? Probably is putting his things in storage for a couple months and will have another rental ready for when he returns in April or so. That’s my best theory. I think he’ll be touring for most of the first half of 2013 though. I also think he’ll have another collaboration with Queen before next summer, hopefully over here in the US.
Or, he may be moving to Finland!!!
So I was in a cheapie housewares store in a mall today, actually realising that I recognised the popular American pop song that was playing on the background (couldn’t name it though) and when that was over all of a sudden I heard NCOE!
I got so excited to think that maybe they are finally playing Adam on the radio here. (A friend said that she heard WWFM in a store last week). I asked a guy working there if it was the radio and he said that it was a cd, not the radio. When I listened it was the long version, not radio edited, and after that more dance music came on. I don’t know what the cd is (and I couldn’t ask) but it sounded soooooo good. I almost started crying right in the middle of the store.
rs, I know exactly how you feel. A few months ago, I heard BTIKM while shopping in IKEA. My son and daughter thought I was so silly but I was so transported for the duration of the song.
I’m watching a show about Freddie Mercury on Bio right now. Fascinating the similarities and differences between Adam and Freddie and great to hear and see Freddie and Brian and Roger!

Addressing a few recent questions:
I have also observed the issue with editing comments, where it removes all line feeds each time you edit. Unfortunately, we are stuck with an older version of the comment editor plugin for now, as the new version won’t work at all with this version of WordPress, and I haven’t been able to find a different editor plugin that works nearly as well as what we have.
Although the VH1 Divas event is not included in the list of “Upcoming Shows” above, we will post a dedicated thread so that there is a separate location to post pix/vids etc. With all of the recent additions to that show’s lineup (including Kelly Clarkson), I do wonder how much screen time Adam will actually get.
I have continued to see occasional problems with site pages (usually the December chat) loading as a jumble of odd looking characters. This is likely related to the page caching I am doing now which helps to speed up the site. Usually logging in (if you aren’t logged in), logging out and then back in, or going to another page then coming back to the problem page will fix this problem. I would rather live with the occasional jumbled page as a trade-off for the much better speed we are seeing recently.
Finally, as you can see from the ever increasing number of shows in the non-tour, we are going to be quite busy around here starting in mid February. My guess is that Adam will continue non-touring Europe in the spring, and bring his non-tour to the US by late spring or early summer. With so many shows each week, AL and I will definitely need some help with running the concert threads. If you are interested in learning how to do this, please contact us via the site admins link.

All this speculation on twitter and comments on 24/7 as to why Adam is getting rid of his apartment and what will happen to Sauli & their relationship (if it hasn’t happened already). I personally think it’s just economics. Although it must be hard for Adam. How many times has he said he just loves his house. But he didn’t own it anyway. I think they were going to raise the rent to a ridiculous amount. I know nothing, of course.

ultimathule Sounds plausible to me about the value to RCA but who knows. It would be nice if there is a real push of some sort in the next 2 weeks to advertise, promote, whatever …Trespassing for Christmas sales. Who’s in charge of this? I think this would be the last chance to get the sales really up. Unless of course he non-tours in the US next summer and it would extend to next Christmas sales!
