Another month has arrived, and we are all anxiously awaiting the lead single from Adam’s upcoming new album. Will the new single be released this month? Will Adam perform at the American Music Awards once again? I think that Adam’s recent appearance on the cover of The Advocate signals that things are about to start happening again.

Hopefully our long wait is almost over. Enjoy the chat!

rainbowgal, I had missed you too and had wondered, hoping that you and your partner were all right. I’m sorry about the loss of your mother. I’ve only read this page, so I know I have missed several pages including any details about your mom or your partner. I will go back and read when I have time.

I just got back from the local hospital where my mom has been since Thursday. She’s very sick and has gotten progressively worse since Thursday; in fact, they moved her to ICU this afternoon. She’s very compromised anyway because of many long years of different disorders; and now an acute situation has led to a near shutdown of kidney function. Congestive Heart Failure and Renal Failure are not good partners in health because they fight against each other. We have had the discussions and conversations as you mentioned, but I’m sure there will always be things that come to mind later that we will wish we had asked or said to her. So, again, rainbowgal, I’m sorry for your loss as I sit here aware that I may soon be experiencing that same loss as many of you here have already experienced.

Having Adam and you(Adam-friends) has been such a comfort to me thru hard times, and I’m sure that won’t change.

  2. nkd says:

Ceddies…My heart and prayers are with you, your mom and your family. I hope you can feel our love as I know I won’t be alone in this. Love and hugs to you sweetie.

  3. adamized says:

Ceddie, your Mom must be quite a special lady because she raised one of the most kind, spirited, and lovely woman I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Lots of warm hugs and shoulders to lean on.

    Love, Adamized

Well – want the top of your head to come off? Driving home from southern Maryland tonight, listening to 97.1 which occasionally plays WWFM, and at 5:15 p.m. the gal announcer starts talking about Adam – and guess what – it’s all about that he may not have been eligible for Idol – nothing about BFM – just this awful lie.

And must disagree with you, Kradamour. If Monte is involved in this, as Adam’s actions seem to indicate, it’s better that Adam cut him off now rather then find out even later what type of guy he is. And I have no doubt Adam will be fine – he tweeted how happy he is.

    For you my dear, Ceddies….

  6. luval says:

I hope some day Adam and Monte can be friends again. Like Michael Corleone used to say “it’s business, not personal”. I just wish Monte would STFU on twitter. Twitter is the devil, in this case. Next thing we could get would be an unauthorized book on what happened on he GN tour behind the scenes!! Even if they did sign confidentiality agreements. Everyone just lawyers up.

Well, The Hub in 40 minutes.

  7. dcglam says:

I’m wondering if the radio station was bombarded with Glamberts, ultimathule.
I sometimes listen to that station, but I’ve never heard a mention of Adam other than WWFM.
Yuck, if this is what they call newsworthy! Frown

  8. almost time for Adam on Majors and Minors…supper got done just in time!!! Everyone ready to see Adam?!?!

  10. he’s so adorable with those kids! I love it!

  11. luval says:

I loved when they flashed on the screen “Adam Lambert grammy nominated singer/songwriter.”

Isn’t Byrd the mentor on Idol?

  12. cher says:

If anyone else is interested…I’ve seen this guy 3 times. I know he could “do” Adam! Ask Cher, she’s seen him too.

Terry Fator? Truly awesome and the best at what he does. Such a funny funny act and so good. That’s why he won AGT. Worth seeing. He split with his wife and is with that stunning assistant of his that’s on the show. She’s absolutely gorgeous. At least his wife got some good money.

  13. cwm says:

Awww this Majors&Minors episode is great. Adam is terrific with the kids. He’s so genuine and engaged with them, and is giving them some really good advice. And man do they love him!

And it’s fun to hear WWFM being sung over and over so enthusiastically.

The kids are so cute – they’re so enthusiastic and engaged. And talented too.

  14. Ellessay says:

I saw the Beg for Mercy link on Facebook, and decided to see if they’d changed anything. I don’t remember what it originally said, but I think their blurb now makes it clear that it’s not Adam’s current music:

    Beg For Mercy
Shortly before he achieved global superstardom, Adam and Madonna’s guitarist, Monte Pittman, collaborated in the studio on a set of songs that give us an unfiltered view of an artist entering his prime.

That material is now commercially available for the first time as the album, “Beg For Mercy,” are originals, co-written by Adam and Monte. Adam’s raw, honest vocals are perfectly supported by a superb pro team, including members of Madonna’s band.

If this was the way this whole controversy started, I’d already own the album. I got the impression that Adam was more upset about the session work that was released than the Citizen Vein stuff, but maybe I’m just projecting my opinion on him.

In any case, maybe Monte should remember that they’ve had these recordings for some time and they weren’t released because of “Madonna’s guitarist” but because of Adam’s name.

  15. rainbowgal4 says:

Ceddies I had horrible mixed emotions around my Mom. On one hand I didn’t want her to leave us. Since the late 60’s my relationship with my Mom was over the phone. Her voice always gave me the sense that all would be ok. When the stroke took her voice we still “talked” almost every day from October thru July with the help of my sister. Her quality of life was not good and because of that I didn’t want her to live in that prison and felt selfish when I wanted her to stay. During her last trip to the hospital I remember telling her a story about Adam. She went to mils‘ concert in Milwaukee. She was of sound mind at the time and we laughed so much. Now I find that I reach for the phone to call her all the time. Ceddies make the time count. You won’t be sorry. Even though I wasn’t posting or reading all of your comments near her end I knew all of you would be here when I got to come back. Thank you all for your friendship, caring and comforting words. I can’t wait to meet some of you at future concerts. Put a face with a name.

  16. rainbowgal4 says:

Adam was, as usual, totally in the zone with those kids. For me it was too short. I wanted so much more – like the whole hour. He always leaves us wanting more!

  17. ok so i love how Cameron is such a Glambert! It’s so cute!! Especially him freaking out when Adam came in…Love to see younger Glamberts Smile

  18. luval says:

I love that kid that said something like the way Adam’s presence was just standing there. That he had such a presence! Haha if only he had his medges on!

  19. adamized says:

I think we saw everything plus more from the sneak peaks and the behind the scene stuff than what we saw tonight. So so many commercials. Isn’t it odd that we now pay to see commercials when TV used to be free because of commercials…hmmm…

Must not let my irratation about that shadow how adorable and talented many of those kids were and how excited and absorbent (Adam’s description) they were.

Feeling crappy again and heading off to early bed. Will be thinking of your Ceddies and Rainbowgal4.

  20. rainbowgal4 says:

adamized Thank you. Have good sleep and healing dreams.

  21. luval says:

Good night, adamized. Hope you feel better tomorrow. Sometimes a good night’s sleep is all you need. (and chicken soup).

There are certainly too many sneak previews whether on tv or in the movies. The commercials on tonight’s show were forever! Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Adam Lambert was perfect. So intense and interested in each and every kid. I’ll never watch this show again, though.

  22. cwm says:

I enjoyed M&M a lot. Adam was fantastic. I loved seeing how much the kids loved him, were excited about him, and learned from him. The performance of WWFM at the end was great! Really talented kids.

  23. goodnight adamized!

yes luval, hearing that “Grammy nominated” before Adam’s name just brings a smile to my face. And same here, didn’t watch the show before, and most likely won’t watch it again after this.

But it was good to see Adam on TV again and here the wonderful words of wisdom that he gave those kids.

  24. luval says:

Yes, I should have added the performance at the end was very good!

  25. milwlovesadam says:

Yay! I’m back on Mozilla. Hubby worked on our computer problems all weekend, hopefully it’s fixed now. He, and now several others have told me that the Viagra virus originates in Facebook. FYI.

Adamized, feel better. Rainbow, thanks for sharing. I remember you told me that you were coming to my town, your old hometown last summer, just didn’t know it was for something so serious.

Ceddies, my thoughts and prayers for you and your mother.

  26. milwlovesadam says:

I watched Majors and Minors, true, won’t likely again, but the kids were sweet and for the most part talented.

Adam was, of course, wonderful, sweet, helpful, charming and appropriate. He gave perfect advice, and these kids listened. Unlike when he was on Idol, and the contestants just SUCKED. And didn’t follow his advice and kept on sucking!!

And, did ya’all notice that he gave a call out to Pink?
    So appropriate!

And, that sweet little Cameron who just idolized Adam? Methinks he’s gay, and Adam is a role model. IMHO. It Gets Better.

  27. milwlovesadam says:

    Post ho-ing here.

I wonder if FYE saw a bump in sales after the EMTV show? I wonder if all his videos on Vevo saw a spike? Not just on MTV?

I think I may be responsible for a thousand some of the views….

  28. luval says:

Did you catch the previews from next week? Mike Posner. A little bit boring!

  29. milwlovesadam says:

Yup luval. Nothing is as exciting as AFL

  30. luval says:

I’ve been wondering for days about the charting, if any, of FYE. I’ve googled this and that and everything and can’t find a link. Now Oksana2000 if you are lurking aren’t you the one who can dig up this information? Smile

  31. milwlovesadam says:

    Crap crap crap crap crap.

I just posted under the M&M thread at MJ’s and my avatar is lost and my name is lost too.

I am seriously lacking the skills to fix this.

    Unintended Consequences….

    .
While checking the status of the ongoing BFM mis-representation issues, I realized something….

Spreading the word about this not being his official current works is needed, BUT what’s starting to happen is, disgruntled Glambert’s are RATING this stuff–giving the BFM 1 star ratings is what I’m talking about.

THAT can create a whole NEW problem for Adam.

We CAN’T do that, no matter how much we want to. I think silence in the ratings part of the war on opportunistic dealings will help keep Adam’s head above water.

Think about this for a minute…

New fan. Stumbles across this mess. Has no idea about whats going on. Yeah. All they see is Adam Lambert ~ 1 star rating. That’s it! They may take a total PASS on Adam COMPLETELY! Blow him off forever. May not investigate anything else by him. Follow me? Are we really willing to take THAT chance??? The chances that just a casual fan will actually READ WHY is probably next to nothing. Now…if it’s not rated at all, then MAYBE they will go look to see the comments.

We have to remember the average consumer has the attention span of zip. See that one star because it just so happens to be what popped up FIRST, and BLAM… It will be five times harder to sway them to look again. I have much experience in marketing and customer profiles and this is a REAL possibility.

I know this is a freakin’ balancing act on a fence with a razor edge, but damn…when I go looking on Best Buys site http://tiny.cc/qcnz6 (this is just one example. There are others too.) and see Adam’s name with 1 star next to it because of rating the bottom scale on this cluster f*ck of BFM thing, my heart stalls, my eyes fill with tears. What happens when some of these places take a combination of ratings and give an overall rating of an artist, product, whatever it might be. Keep tagging BFM with 1 star and watch his 5 star rating tank………. Unintended consequences.

Also remember, ANYTHING associated with Adam’s name period is fair game for the hater’s. That’s all we need when his real music drops…
The haters coming out in full force with “PROOF.” Things like 1 star ratings get twatted, blogged, blah blah….just to thwart his new music. I’ve seen it too many times. You might remember an old thread I had with MY showing you all proof of this happening. Enough to make ya puke. Yeah….

And you KNOW they are still out there–waiting like vultures to take him down.

Please… Spread the word in reviews, but DON’T rate… I have a deep down gut feeling that will backfire on Adam/Us BIG TIME.

    For what it’s worth…

  33. milwlovesadam says:

mso712, thank you so much for bringing this over. Very true words.

  34. luval says:

I don’t think that post will ever reach the people it is intended for.

  35. luval says:

So what’s next for Adam? The Sundance channel fashion show?

  36. dcglam says:

I just posted under the M&M thread at MJ’s and my avatar is lost and my name is lost too.

That site seems to be having some issues right now, mils. Your avi and name may pop back up a little later.

So what’s next for Adam? The Sundance channel fashion show?

I sure hope something pops up because it will be a long wait until January.

  38. Miss Chaos says:

The little boy with the glasses came on at the end when they were singing before the live audience and his hair was black and spiked, too cute.

Did anyone notice that at the beginning one of the boys said they loved Queen? Did I imagine that? Since this was before Adam was on the show, did someone there know something?

  39. ultimathule says:

Read that post from AO – damn that’s disheartening.
Who are these people who are so anxious to sink Adam? Are they fans of other Idols, or just losers who like to trash other people – obviously those more successful than they are? It’s a constant battle.

  40. nkd says:

I’ve been in and out today and I haven’t kept up here, although I’m trying.
rainbowgal, I am sorry to hear about your mother. My heart is with you also. You are going through some trying times, just stay strong.
Is your partner also an Adam fan? You mentioned more Adam adventures. I’m sure it’s wonderful to have someone to share Adam with, besides us here of course!

  41. Calgary says:

Do we think Majors and Minors will be on youtube sometime for us Canadians?

  42. Ron says:

    Hi Calgary!

    You can watch M&M’s here:

    http://adamlamberttv.blogspot.com/

We do tend to get the short end of the stick here in Canada, don’t we? But I can’t complain too loudly after his Ste.-Agathe appearance!

  43. rs says:

I loved the clips I saw from M&M! Adam is such a great mentor and teacher, and that got me thinking that maybe in one of his future lives he will go into directing. So then I started imagining him sitting with James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio….It will happen one day, and he will be their best guest evah. I can just imagine him talking about his early days in children’s theater, Idol, the AMAs, and how he dealt with being the first mainstream gay pop singer, his first Grammy, Oscar night…..am I getting carried away?

Anyway, I have the Queen performance on my MP3 and in my car, but I am afraid that we are in for a long dry spell until January, so why not daydream?

  44. ultimathule says:

MTV has put up all three songs and there are segments that I’ve never seen before.

  45. cher says:

I just got home and watched the M & M episode. Those kids were really good and performed the heck out of that song. Adam did a great job with them. He’s such a good and patient mentor and teacher. Smile
Sorry to hear about your mom Ceddies. Also my sympathy on the passing of your mom back in July rainbowgal4. Frown

  46. ultimathule says:

This is really strange – when I watched the three-segments the first time, there were four differences I noted. Extra close up of Adam and one of Brian, a group of people with arms around each other raising a glass, and then, at the very end, instead of cutting away from Adam with his big wail, they showed his entire figure. Then, when I played it a second time, all these differences disappeared and it was back to the one we had all seen already. Got me.

  47. HK fan says:

Loved watching the Majors and Minors videos, the kids were so excited to see him, and he was so good with them. He has such a good demeanor with everyone, but especially kids, he doesn’t talk down to them and treats them with respect. And they were great on their group performance.

And sorry to hear about your mum Ceddies, it must be a very hard time for you. And sorry to hear about you mum rainbowgal, Its tough isn’t it, I lost my mum 6 1/2 years ago, I still miss her.

  48. cher says:

well Ultimathule, at least you found all 3. I can’t find the last two!! Frown

  49. HK fan says:

Rumour mill going wild on twitter that Adam has been seen in Singapore…..

  50. Teri63 says:

Rumour mill going wild on twitter that Adam has been seen in Singapore…..

Yeah, I saw that, too. Turns out it was started by a cryptic tweet by JJonAir, the station director at 91.3 in Singapore. He had tweeted something along the lines of “Guess who I just bumped into @adamlambert.” All the Adam fans flipped out. A trillion frenzied tweets later, JJonAir tweeted that he meant that he had just received a sampling of Adam’s new album. Then fans were concerned that he’d gotten his hands on BFM, but he clarified that he was aware of that situation and that the songs he had heard were from Adam’s real new album. He’s not saying anything more. In response to a fan’s questioning if the material is good, he said that anything from Adam is good (although he added parenthetically, “when he’s not backing up Queen.” Geez, how could anyone NOT like that??? LOL!).

Well, anyway, that clears that up. Kept me entertained during a bout of insomnia, anyway!
