It’s summer time and that means that we finally will be getting the new full length self-titled LP from Adam! Two songs and videos were released in June as an amuse-bouche for our eyes and ears followed by many promotional interviews. Adam will be at several album release shows starting July 10th. Let’s see what other savory songs are on the menu and what else Adam will be up too as he promotes his album.

Let me share some context about the VMAs: they don’t operate like normal award shows. It isn’t based on charts or sales, etc. The noms are curated solely by MTV. It’s less about who is the best or most worthy and more about who they expect to show up and who will create a big storytelling moment for them or who needs promotion. Example: Mad0nna winning her categories (most likely) so that she will then be “all time most awarded VMA winner” giving a juicy headline to all the media covering it, even if it doesn’t make sense. And she will be there to accept and create more moments for the VMAs this year which have been declining.
I still think the whole thing is BS bc if you’re going to bother to have an award show, it should be based on merit, not “moments and headlines.” This is why no one takes the VMAs seriously.

With heavy heart I share that Tim Curry, known to many for his legendary performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, passed away last night. His force was undeniable. It will be felt when Rocky Horror takes over the Sphere next year in Vegas

I cannot count how many times I saw the midnight show with a bag of stuff to throw. Rice, bread, newspapers, rolls of TP, actual meatloaf, frankfurters, squirt guns, ….
I had the album and literally wore it out. So I bought it again!

Tim Curry was the definition of iconic.
He played the Pirate King.
He played Amadeus.
Such a huge talent.
Could have been a rock star.
