After months of waiting, get ready for “The Original High” this month. We’ve been treated with 4 songs already but are anxious to hear the full album. Adam is out promoting at various radio stations, on TV and doing phone interviews. With “Ghost Town” slowly moving up the charts, it will be interesting to see if TOH becomes Adam’s second number one album. With timely appearances on TV during the week of the album release, his casual fans should be aware of the new music and help generate sales. Here’s hoping to a successful launch and that it leads to a solo tour!

    I don’t think “There I Said It” applies to Adam’s relationship with Sauli. For one thing Adam did not have a hand in writing it.

    I can see Adam loving the song and relating to this experience. It is pretty universal and all of us have been through a relationship where we love the other person more than they love us. Adam would be no exception to this rule.

    Managed to get the iHeart stream working. I really love this. They are playing his songs with some old and new songs in between. It fits good though. U2, George Michael, Adam Lambert, Who is Fancy. Very good!

    Love Lucy by the way! Streamed the album 3 times now and I don’t think I really dislike any of the new songs. Rumors isn’t that catchy for me yet, but the 3rd time it got better somewhat.

    I also loved The Light from first listen. That song reminds me of the 90’s the most of any of the songs. Maybe it’s because that period was also my introduction to mainstream music (I’m the same age as Adam) and here in The Netherlands house (happy hardcore) music was really popular. Adam mentioned 2 Unlimited twice now in interviews. The first album I got was from them (Hits Unlimited).

    There I said it is also very very beautiful. Tears in my eyes for all 3 listens so far. But all are growing on me. I find it nice that everybody has their favorites and they all differ.

    The album comes out on Friday here, but I have to see if I can buy the CD then, because I have something from work maybe that might prevent me from going to the store. I will get it from iTunes so I can put it on a USB for in the car.

    GT by the way is holding very steady on #5 in Dutch iTunes at the moment. It was #3 for a day after the performance. The album also popped up again today with the stream available. So that at least triggered some more buys. On the radio GT had a bit of a bad week last week, but it’s being played more again after his performance. I really hope that will continue, because only with plays on the radio I think it will really chart high.

    iTunes sales reports aren’t much use, skaschep, unless they are consistent. If GT is holding steady at #5 that actually means something. Good for Holland!

    maybe this is too early to ask, but does anybody know where adam is flying into when he comes into the city next week? since he has a gig in london the night before he is probably flying international which could only mean JFK or Newark airport and i’m trying to find out if any tri-state area glamberts are going to meet up to meet him. thank you Smile

    Confused. According to one report Adam will be DJ-ing at iHeart tomorrow, Tuesday. On twitter, though, people are reporting that iHeart (I assume Adam) just played “the Light”.

    I can’t get iHeart radio to play. Perhaps it is because I am out of country?

    Can anyone enlighten me? Are y’all listening to him at the moment?

    Yes, now Rumors is playing. I think they almost have had all songs of the album now. I missed the beginning so not sure.

    Thanks TLKC it’s the holding steady that is encouraging me too. Although the song that was #1 in iTunes for a lot of weeks also is #1 in the other charts here. It’s being played a lot also though. There is one station that has a chart called the iTunes Top 30 here and they also play the top 3 from iTunes each day in the evening so when you are high there it get’s a lot of attention.

    Listening to Adam DJ is awesome and it brings back so many memories all the way back to Idol. Shows why he made some of song choices that he sang on Idol and in his own concerts. Even the 100% pure love, Big Smile All favorites of his. Loving this

    BTW I have not had a chance to listen to the album stream yet. Tried to listen on my phone at work today but it wouldn’t play.
