Exciting times are upon us as July begins! Adam has just completed an outstanding first full length concert with Queen at a charity event in Kiev, Ukraine (as captured in the photo above). Five more Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are lined up for Moscow, Wroclaw (Poland) and London during the next couple of weeks. Adam will then return to the United States to play a series of solo concerts during the second half of the month, including gigs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Des Moines, Thackerville (Oklahoma), and a much anticipated return to the site of one of his first and most memorable concerts at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. All told, Adam will perform in 10 live concerts this month, which will make this his busiest month for live performances since November 2010 when he was in the European portion of the Glam Nation Tour. Does anybody have a guesstimate of what time to expect Adam and Queen in , let’s say New York time tomorrow?

I thought noon was for the first band, and Queenbert is the headliner? So, going on later? Who has the lineup?

To be precise queen starts 9:40 local time which is 3:40 est. add some time for running late and cross your fingers for good weather(right now it looks lousy) and there we go… I’ll have first hand recap from my friend who is going to the concert. I’m reading twitter list and peeps are really excited. Mayor of Wroclaw is providing free public transportation to and from stadium just for the concert. It looks like a really big event!!!

Have had the slowest internet connection ever since arriving Thursday so haven’t been on the fansite (or anything else for that matter)until today. Have little idea what’s going on except today is POLAND!!!! And then it’s LONDON!!!! Going to the theater 2 more times today( matinee & evening…separated by 2 hours!) after seeing “Billy Elliott” last night.
Hoping to hear more about Poland show later; never really got thru the Moscow thread but what I saw/heard from the concert itself looked great!

This is going to be second hand recap of Wroclaw concert.
I just spoke to my friend who is visiting her family in Poland and they happen to live in Wroclaw. She and her two sisters (all 29-ers) got some VIP tickets and went to see Queenbert.
What can I tell you, we have two more Glamberts!! Ha!
Before Queen started and other groups were playing, the stadium was 20% full. Then people started coming and the crowd was unbelivable. Almost no room to stand. My friends were trying to leave their comfortable VIP seats and join the crowd but were turned by the security. Yuck!
Then the show started. These 29-ers were standing, dancing , singing, waving hands and having time of their life. As the rest of the audience.
The audience was very diverse, from people that grew up with Queen to their grandkids. All singing every song,knowing the lyrics.
People who never heard of Adam before were very complimentary about him, said that he was very modest, not trying to steal the show but showing respect to Brian and Roger and that he has terrific voice.
“Map” keeps running through my head – more gorgeous every time I listen.

As usual Adam was lucky, because whatever lousy weather was there before it cleared 20 minutes before concert and it was just perfect.
My friend’s sister said that Adam looks like Elvis!! I wonder where she got that idea from,lol. Anyway , she said that he GORGEOUS!! And the VOICE!!Said that she watched GNT DVD before and it was just so-so for her, but now she understand why people go gaga for Adam.
The stadium security was very strict, they were checking peeps for liquer cause knowing Polish crowd they didn’t want any scuffles. One could buy a drink in a bar at VIP section, but bringing drinks to GA crowd was verboten..
As I mentioned before, mayor of Wroclaw provided additional (and free ) transportation from the stadium to Old City Center, where are little restaurants and bars.My friends were so excited after the concert that they stayed until 3AM at some outdoor cafe and were reliving the whole event.
They said that they were listening to other concert goers that were with them on that bus and everybody was very positive about Adam. I am emphasising this, because I’ve read so much garbage in Polish press before concert (mostly from disgruntled Queen fans) that I’m happy to hear that Adam was embraced by Polish audience.
If I remember more, I’ll do recap #3.
Happy to hear that the audience loved him, Oksana – the vids certainly validate that conclusion – terrific response from the stadium. Just wonderful for the boy.
Ultima, for a consolation , this time Chris Brown debuted with a half of what he debuted before. (130 v. 270 ). And he produced piece of garbage according to reviews. Metascore = 40.

Spent a rainy weekend in stevenage near knebsworth where the original sonisphere gig would’ve been and let me tell u that everything happens for a reason because it would have been miserable out there. ’twas pouring rain most of the afternoon!
the Olympic torch went right by our hotel there this morning before we left and that was soooooo cool… 2 feet in front of us! Ovationimpact just showed up here by chance lol! everyone says hi, will get u as much recaps and vids as we can but some of us have limited or no wi-fi access here. Love to u all and we’ll have fun on your behalf!
I have that gut feeling that we gonna get more Queenbert. Madison Square Garden? Other big places in US? I don’t believe that there are no promoters letting such a sure thing slip thru their greedy hands.
Both Brian and Roger have such a fun performing and they both know that they don’t have that many years left.
God forbid that they’ll decide to tour AROUND THE WORLD, skipping US.

Thanks for sharing. As much as I don’t like crowds, I would love to be in a venue that big and hear Adam’s soaring voice. I wonder how many new fans spent today looking for Adam Lambert videos on Youtube.
Oksana–it’s sad to see so many people think that Roger and Brian should just quit performing. They miss the point. People like them, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and others don’t need the money or fame any more. They just love performing and feeling that love from the live audience. It’s obvious how much fun Roger and Brian are having with this. Who wouldn’t love the response they’re getting? I’m glad Adam got to share that love. Hope they remember him and BUY HIS album.
Hello London group! I just wanted to point out one thing–if Adam and Queen had been performing at Sonisphere as originally scheduled, the sky would have cleared, and the sun would have shined down on our boy as he had the time of his life! Things are just a little brighter wherever he goes.
You know the saying, if one door closes, another one opens. In Adam’s case it was several. They have got to bring this to the US, or at least release a DVD for worldwide consumption. I would love to see it live, but can’t afford it unless it happens in my back yard. I’ll be the one sitting in the cheap seats.
On the up side, I wouldn’t be filming from that distance–I’d strictly be in the moment, enjoying the beautiful music.

Sauli just tweeted,”London”. It’s believed that he is now in London, which would be about right as he and Adam would have some time to spend together before his next shows. I have a feeling they’ve made a pact not to be separated for more than about three weeks. Anyone else ordering the new Summer issue of Fault with Sauli in it? I seem to have a crush on him. Adam’s not the only one who thinks he’s cute. Mils I really want to see Queenbert too. I have my Adam fund building up and if they cross the Atlantic, this little older claustrophobic lady will get her Valium out and hop a plane. Let’s hope,pray and dream that it happens.
