Exciting times are upon us as July begins! Adam has just completed an outstanding first full length concert with Queen at a charity event in Kiev, Ukraine (as captured in the photo above). Five more Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are lined up for Moscow, Wroclaw (Poland) and London during the next couple of weeks. Adam will then return to the United States to play a series of solo concerts during the second half of the month, including gigs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Des Moines, Thackerville (Oklahoma), and a much anticipated return to the site of one of his first and most memorable concerts at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. All told, Adam will perform in 10 live concerts this month, which will make this his busiest month for live performances since November 2010 when he was in the European portion of the Glam Nation Tour.     So, JOJOSIE, does that qualify for the win on The Toaster Oven? Or is it just a downpayment? Thinking I never knew what the magic number is. I think we should make the transfer to you, though! Grin

    Lucy Hale is a very good singer (love her voice), and she is also adorable. She and Adam should be quite a match! Ha, only three more months until Halloween — more waiting. Glamberts must be the most patient fan group out there. There is always something to wait for look forward to….. Razz Waiting

    Krad, I believe it is considered cable. It is on the ABC Family channel. We get Verizon Fios, and I think it is on 699 — not sure though. Need to check it out…..

    I would give a lot to have fios. We’ll never have it here, verizon doesn’t want to retrofit the historic neighborhood. Drat. Fios has TV5, the French channel.

    Good Morning – What a morning. So happy to see Adam soooo happy and comfortable up on that stage last night.
    Then because I couldn’t sleep and was keeping my self company along with the other night owls on twitter I heard about Denver. I pray that the universe wraps those families in love, strength and support as they move forward.
    So if you need to justify your Adam passion you can file it under “living life each and every day to it’s fullest”. For me that means I can’t ever get enough Adam and the joy I feel every time I see him smile. That and celebrating each of you here and my family.

    I posted this on the concert thread, but it probably belongs here. I meant to tell y’all that in the past 3 days, I have heard NCOE on my car radio 3 times! I’m wondering if things are beginning to pick up a bit with radio (Adam’s request tweet) or if I just got lucky. Hmmm…

    ETA: I just checked the playlist of the radio station that my car is set to. It looks as though NCOE is on a fairly solid rotation schedule to be played every 2-3 hours. FRESH 94.7 has always been very supportive of our boy, but they have definitely upped his playtime. Looks good….

    rainbowgal: What a terrible event. And immediately, some experts come out and say gun control is not the answer. Really? While nothing can prevent an event like this completely, I’d say gun control would be a great step forward. I’d better stop here but there is a lot more to the discussion about what makes people think it is okay to kill others. Anyway I totally agree with you comment to live life to the fullest because you never know what tomorrow holds.

    turquoisewaters You will get no argument from me when it comes to gun control. All day my heart has been so heavy thinking about these families even the shooter’s family. The pain must be unbearable. It worries me – I have grandchildren that love to go to the movies.

    I think I will go listen to Adams vids. They always make me smile!!

    My daughter and I met Ashley’s (the bass player) dad. We saw Ashley before the concert with her family so didn’t want to bother her. As we were walking away her dad came over and told us we had the right colors on (both my daughter and I had the bright yellow tops and black pant). I gave Ashley a thumbs up and said ‘see you soon’. She returned the thumbs up and said ‘absolutely’! Then, right after the concert, Ashley’s dad came running up to us and said ‘did you like my girl’?? He was so damned proud and it was so cute. He told us about her musical education and that Adam picked her over many others trying to get the bass player position. We told him she was great and also very pretty. He beamed. It was just another highlight of our wonderful evening. Smile

    Thanks rainbowgal for those mp3’s. I’ve put them onto my computer, don’t know how they’ll sound on my ipod though as they are really quiet, even with the volume turned right up.
    I would still like the best sound quality videos (not necessarily best pictures) if anyone knows of any.

    The above is from our dear luval who flew to Fantasy Springs yesterday with her brother … and her brother has never seen Adam perform “live”. They are staying at the Fantasy Springs Resort itself and “Adam Water Bottles” appear to be among the many items one can find there.

    I bet after one sip you’ll feel re-energized, a bit shady and a little cuckoo. Big Smile

I am warning you all, I haven’t even gotten to talk about the concert yet, it is mostly musings and bits and pieces of the 10 days leading up to the concert and the time I spent with other peeps. will add something later about the Adam/Queen experience
