Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Not sure it’s legit yet, someone said there’s already an act on the new date in Argentina.
    And, so close to the date? Really rushed, they didn’t add so close for the other legs.

    I’m not sure about the new dates.

    Sao Paulo on the 17th is open but the ticket site only shows the concert on the 16th.

    Although these dates are on adamofficial, it seems that they are pulling their data from bandsintown.com which may not be the most reliable source. Also, no ticket boxes are beside the new dates.

    The independent record store I go to is exactly like that IG pic. Also it’s dirty, everything is a mess, it’s a hippie hangout, they have tons of vinyl, it smells. But that’s where I buy TOH. It’s one of the most popular hangouts in town and will never go away.

    The Alice Cooper show plays on one of our classic rock stations, I’ve listened many times, he’s a great DJ. Really knows his stuff and admires true artists. On a side note, he just played our state fair last night, as did Derulo. Both got good reviews.

    On another side note, Cooper is a big golfer, and loves to play a certain course here, where the PGA will be next week. By coincidence it is right on Lake Michigan, literally just north of my favorite beach I mention here so often. I’m sure he played the course while here for the fair. It’s such a beautiful place.

    ETA: the beach and golf course are in Sheboygan. My “here” is in my blog name. 45 minutes apart on the freeway.

    Just seems insane to me for Adam to do two shows the nights before the HUGE DEMANDING Rock in Rio crowd and go in a) traveling overnight to there and b) without a rested body and voice. J/s…

    Not once in the entire QAL tour did they do 3 shows in a row, so I never thought these were legit shows. Unless no one cared about A’s voice (including him). They surely had to have learned that lesson with the gruelling tours with Freddie and his vocal issues. Even with two in a row, Adam said he often had to be silent.
    How many times have we seen “phantom” shows show up due to wishful thinking? Even that DuranDuran thing in October may be bogus.

    I still occasionally look at flights for the last show in SA. Just dreaming, though. This actually may be the last time Queen will tour. They are getting on in age. But nothing surprises me anymore. Brian has said they’ll continue as long as they can.

    12 July 2014 Auburn Hills – 12,331/ 14,070 (88%) $961,050

    I only remember because Toronto was in the middle of that sandwich. Here’s hoping that they don’t do it again though. Not good for the voice.

    TLKC, oh right, forgot those. But at least they are physically close together, and a familiar environment/food/culture/etc., indoor venues and friendlier crowds. There is still a lot of homophobia in Brazil, and those Rock in Rio crowds will be huge and will expect a lot, so A better be in his best shape.
