Color makes him look more Nordic – perfectly appropriate considering his lineage.
I flove the hair! (now that we have seen more of it). I was def not feeling the Billy Idol look that it initially appeared to be…this is so sophisticated!
I do want to see it without the glasses but wow it really makes him pop! Especially in the crowd in Japan where most hair is dark…hmmm, wonder if that was the idea? If so, the color might not last too long after he returns.
I agree tho that Adam and Sauli don’t need to look alike…Sauli is so much smaller, he could give the bizarre impression of being a ventriloquist dummy…

Adam’s face looked so beautiful! And hair matched well with the dark gray jacket – it looked more silver than gray in front (the hair).

So is it coughing that keeps you awake? Glad it’s getting better, try to rest anyway! Strange summer, so many have been seriously ill. My recipe for avoiding flus – I do winter swimming (you know, dipping myself into the icy hole in a lake in winter). It sounds mad, but it feels very good afterwards and really helps immune system. But not before the water is cold enough, so it’s not helping in summer or in warm climate.
I’ll be back later, off the grid outdoors activities to be done…

LadyNorth Adam cost me an arm and a leg in gardening fees. I let it go so badly between 2009-2011. Problem was, gardening was my early morning recreation. A little weeding and watering every day goes a LONG way. I would look at the gaps, grow and transplant annuals from boxes etc. My Adam obsession is a morning thing and it replaced gardening.
This summer I had a guy come in and lay new sod. My neighbours were in despair. I am back to early morning watering and off to buy some plants today. These hobbies have to co-exist from here-on-in.
Oh. Sadly, Paul Ryan is not OT for me. I’m sad to say he’s from my state. He’s so conservative, he makes my crap-weasel of a Governor look like a liberal.

Totally agree, ulti. Tats on delicate neck skin do NOT age well…unfortunately when u r young u don’t necessarily think about what u will look like 50 years down the road…or even 20…
I am starting to see some tats on younger peeps that are already losing their definition and getting muddy.
I know that Adam is planning a sleeve…thus the too-big-out-of-proportion key. But if he is serious about acting as part of his career path – and I hope that he is! – tats can be covered with makeup if necessary, but i really hope that he doesn’t do too much more. Selfishly, i want to see his gorgeousness for years to come, and muddy old tattoos are not part of what i am looking forward to.

I’m traveling and out of the loop – so Romney has a VP candidate now? My son is at a Romney rally right this minute in Norfolk, Romney really wants to win Virginia and he is visiting. Good time for me to be away. Glad that my son cares about politics – he is passionate – but not sure how our family spawned a conservative Republican…i haven’t written him out of the will yet tho.
I agree about tats. Ugh, in general. I have the “fortune” of seeing old tattoos in health care. Ugh. I especially don’t like neck tattoos. Many of them are gang related, not for art. And don’t even get me started on street tats. On the knuckles, all over the hands, just random letters and words, usually not spelled correctly, in odd placements, just UGH. It’s drug culture. I used to work in a central city hospital. I actually miss it. It was never boring!
Have been driving around for about an hour listening to top 40 and dance music station. Yes, I’m prejudiced about Pop That Lock but it would fit in perfectly with the dance music out there. And if they would do a radio edit and put in the Smooth Criminal sample it would be genius.
I predict that if it’s not the new single (I’m pretty sure not) that it will be released as a single and go to top ten!!!

World class cheeses and dairy products. World leader of cherries and apples and cranberries. Milwaukee, city of festivals. Ethnic heritage, ethnic restaurants. So much to be proud of here.
And the producer of Jeffrey Dahmer. Ed Gein. Scott Walker. The Sikh Temple shooter/shooting. And Paul Ryan.
I put them all in the exact same category. They all kill people, directly or indirectly.

After listening to that soundcloud interview Adam says exactly what I thought. That he’s not belting notes out as he could. He’s holding back because IMO people think he’s showing off. Listen to the Under Pressure at Kiev when he sings the word “why” all in one breathe. It’s spectacular. In every show following he breaks it up. This is just one example.
I want him to let it all out. He’s not bragging…it’s Adam and his amazing range!!! Let the world hear it!

I think maybe Adam could keep the silver in front hair and make the shorter hair area in the neck and sides darker? So that the color gets darker when going down… That might look very cool!

LadyNorth, Wisconsin is lovely. But, our politicians are making me very sad and quite upset.
The weather has been very weird this year. I was just telling someone how on Christmas Day I was working, and on my way home from work, I left the hospital, which literally is on the lakeshore, and went down to the beach for a walk on the sand. I went right down to the water’s edge and took a long walk. No snow. No ice. No cold air. Seagulls. Doesn’t that sound pretty? It was. It was lovely. Like a nice spring day.
Except it was December 25th. It’s supposed to be about 25 degrees or less. there’s supposed to be so much snow and ice and cold air that the thought of being on the beach would be out of the question. It was so strange.
mils, from this point forward if Paul Ryan comes up in the conversation I am referring to him as Mr. Bean. You know, Rowan Atkinson the British comedian. Just reminds me of him.

Lady North,about the hair…if his natural hair was dark it would look really great growing out. Like lightening bolts popping out of his head. 10 days in Japan, his hair grows like a weed and no Abrea (his hairdresser). Can’t wait to see what it will look like.

On the hair thing, I wonder if he will keep it for long, because it’s got to be a lot more work than the dark. It would involve bleaching and toning, versus pouring on a bottle of bootblack, n’est-c pas?
Krad – agree about the out-of-proportion key tat – never liked it – too big – would be glad to see it embellished in some way. (And no more, Adam, please.) Don’t even like the word on his hand. Not against tats completely – have seen, say, a small butterfly on a young girl’s ankle – that’s pretty – but not these Levine tattooed-man jobs. Even Sauli’s is overkill for me.
