Good morning! Luv April picture! Eywflyer… That’s how I picture him in my mind now. It’s hard to remember the glitter and feathers but I still think we’ll see rhinestones in a subtle way or something shiny!
That Finnish interview was great. 22 minutes flew by. For some reason even though he talked about the same things they sounded different to me. And the Sauli part was great.
Love the picture! Doing taxes today so wish me luck. Every year I use Turbo Tax and every year I run into some problem that takes me hours to resolve. Hope this year is a different and I will breeze right through. My friend did not win the lottery so I guess I will doing my own taxes for the foreseeable future. As somebody once said, too bad Adam expenses aren’t deductible.

Yep! 3 songs ahead of BTIKM went recurrent this week so it moved up to #17 from #20! New peak position!
Yay! I’m so glad! Naysayers will, of course, say that it only climbed the charts because of recurrents, but that’s, IMO, a bunch of sh**! This song has held its own for weeeeeeks, ever so slowly, yet consistently, climbing. Had it not stuck in there of its own volition, it wouldn’t have been in the right place to cash in on other songs going recurrent. It won’t go down as Adam’s biggest hit, but he can’t be called a “one hit wonder,” either. I think it’s done exactly what his people wanted it to do: It temporarily satiated his fans while reminding the radio community that he’s a player in the field. I can’t wait for his next single, which I really think will get better reception, no matter which one of the three (purposely omitting “Naked Love,” which I think he has to be a bigger star to be free to release, sadly) they choose.

…which is probably why this is one of my all-time favorite Adam songs, even after just hearing a bit of it! It’s so awesome and so HIM! I’m glad he’s a true artist and is putting it on his album, and I’m bummed he has to play by such ridiculously prudish, double standardized American radio rules, but I also want him to make the splash he deserves to make.
I love Naked Love. If we never hear it on the radio, hopefully we’ll hear it live on tour! “take it off and try me on”. The visual on stage should be very interesting!

Many thanks again to all for indulging me while I relived one of the best nights ever…but I have to add just two more things. I think when he was singing Trespassing he was keeping time by stomping his boot on the stage floor. The theater was so quiet and all we could hear at one point was the heel of his boot hitting the floor. Was really hard to stay in our seats! And finally I think he’s channeling Elvis. I’m sure you’ve noticed that lip curl of his during particularly suggestive lyrics and how he looks out with those eyes and you gotta think Elvis…only Adam sings far better but has the same sex appeal!
Just got info from Energy103.7 which is the new name for SD station which hosted on Friday night. They say pics and hopefully videos will be up on Monday. Fingers crossed! Radiosophie103.7 was taken over by this new group on Thursday evening and with change in hands could be reason for delay of pics.

Have a Volga River Cruise that looks interesting from St. Petersburg to Moscow and ends in Moscow on June 29-day before concert. Am considering a different vacation now but am not changing anything in UK until we hear something from Queen, hopefully this week.

Always interesting to find out (if we ever do) why a band member is replaced. Maybe Kevin was too involved in his own band. Friction between Kevin & Adam. Friction between Kevin & Tommy. Adam is too much a perfectionist. Most likely none of these things! Can’t wait to see Brian with the band. New Now Next Awards Thursday, to be broadcast on Monday the 9th.
eta: Kelly Osborn on The Talk right now. She’s hosting the NNN awards & said Adam Lambert will be there! She mentioned no one else. And the audience & panel ooohed & aaaahed!!!!!!! They showed a nice photo too!!
Kevin may have just been brought on temporarily as musical director for the initial promo performances and promo tour. I did like Kevin, so that’s a bit sad. But damn, that Brian London has a very impressive resume, so I’m excited! Can’t wait to see a full band plugged-in performance of a new song!
I’ll just have to keep tabs on what Kevin is up to with Vanity Machine. I really like his stuff.
