It was a busy Spring for Adam. Having completed his run in “Cabaret”, he attended/presented for the first time at the Tony Awards. Then it was off to Europe for performances in Cannes and at the Polar Music Awards to honor Queen (Brian and Roger). He also made sure to be part of several Pride-related events. And finally, he even made time to work on some new music. Summer may be vacation time but not for him as he will be performing another dream role as Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar” in LA.

Watching Adam’s performance reminds me when he referred to Kara’s comments on Idol about “pulling back” a little. He said in theater everything has to be bigger rather than when the camera is right up in your face. Well, he certainly remembered how to do that.

8/2 FB Fan Review: Erivo & Adam Lambert are simply not of the human race, vocally. Lambert has virtually no upward limit to his vocal range and Erivo is a similarly unlimited powerhouse. There were 2 standing ovations-mid-show! (Never saw that on Broadway)
