Those tour grosses are interesting…so Beyoncé/JayZ grossed about six times what QAL did per concert.
Beyonce and JayZ did mostly stadiums hence the higher gross
and the tickets were expensive but they didn’t sell out in all the venues. I remember reading an article that said their shows weren’t selling well in some markets.
Katy Perry’s concerts were not all sold out as the stats stated. When some venues didn’t sell out completely, they reconfigured the seating in those arenas and didn’t use most of the upper areas. I saw the stats for the BB&T center in Fort Lauderdale and the American Airlines arena in Miami
and they said something like 12,700 out of 12,700 Sold out. Those arenas are normally sold out at over 16,000. For a Miami Heat basketball game in the TripleA it holds 19,200 including standing room on the 4th level. I know about Katy Perry because a friend asked me to buy them upper level seats for her concert at the BB&T center this past July. I bought the tickets way back in December on presale for them and less than a week before the concert I got an email from Tixmaster saying that my seats for the Katy Perry concert had changed and that when I got to the venue I would be shown to the correct seats. My friends say they got to sit in the upper level but closer to the stage and lower down. They said
that most of the rest of the upper level had curtains surrounding the seats.

Hmmm. Need more details of that tat. It was a water/Aquarius Greek god as I recall. Now it looks very doodled over. And dark.
Last we saw the full tat, you could still make out the horns, eyes and face of the thing, whatever it was that he sat for 10 hours to have done.

How could she be selling out all venues when the lower level ticket prices for her shows were $287 each and her and JayZ’s shows were regular level $200 each and much more closer down? Not worth it either. JayZ with Kanye last year in regular arenas were $200 each lower level and those seemed to be mostly sold out. JayZ was not very good but Kanye was much better..have to give him credit for that but I don’t like him much.

OMG luval. That LUSH video is one of the best fan-girling videos going. Both of those guys are hilarious and sweet and funny and an utterly cute couple. I watched the whole thing right through to their leaving their lovely little apartment for Disneyland.

They put out a joint video once a month. Perhaps any more than that would be a bit cloying. Their videos are in the same vein as Cheeks. Adam probably recognized Matt because he’s been doing the LUSH videos for a long time and Nick is somewhat new, being the boyfriend.
Sam Smith loses more points for being dumb than anything else. I am pretty sure every singer has fibbed to their fans a few times about their availability – a white lie.
He’s only 22 and has a lot to learn but I saw him singing on TV the other day and he is very good. He can actually sing.
Sam is getting the same kind of hazing from LGBTQ media that Adam did – about being the right kind of gay. The only difference is that he is getting it from the opposite end of the political/social spectrum. Adam got it from the plaid shirts. Sam is getting it from the clubbers.
