September was a month full of surprises – Adam on Idol, Adam out and about and then to wrap up the month, the announcement of the UK and European Q+AL tour in early 2015. Can’t wait to see what October has in store! In the meantime, we’ll continue with the weekly walk down memory lane and revisit the summer’s concerts.

    I am assuming he will not be on Glee but you never know with him! So many surprises over the years. (can’t believe I can say “over the years”. Seems like yesterday when we discovered him)

    Flaneur is even better, Kradamour. I first learned of the word when I read Julian Barnes’s Metroland. He is a huge Francophile. I love his books.

    Fall is my favourite travel time; the summer not so much. I dislike the heat and humidity almost as much as the extreme cold. It would be nice to see Paris in spring. And to see luval, rs and mmm2 as well.

    If we keep this up Kradamour will be tempted to book a week on the Riviera at just about the time we get there. Big Smile

    I would love to see Adam re-appear on Glee but the episode spoilers for this season suggest that the show is returning to it’s high school roots, with no room for NYC.

    Kurt and Blaine have split and the season will probably revolve around their journey to “happily ever after land”.

    Personally, I can’t imagine why any gay man would be able to look at any other man when Adam is in the picture, so the plot is already unbelievable. Which is probably why Ryan Murphy knows that he can’t bring Adam back, even for a cameo.

    I have really weird Thanksgiving dilemma. My sisters both live in the same building and they are both making separate Thanksgiving dinners as we “speak.”

    My sister Catherine invited me earlier this week. I assumed everyone was going to her place. When she called to invite our other sister, Christine said that SHE was doing Thanksgiving and that she had left me a telephone invitation a couple of days ago. (I’m not so good on the home phone message pick-up.)

    I have less than an hour to decide which floor I will go to (or figure out which of them will forgive me more easily.)

    I don’t think my brothers have any idea what’s going on and they won’t know until they get there.

    yes, starters in one, main course in the other, back to the first for dessert!!! I wouldn’t like to have to decide on that one..it really does sound like something from Friends…
    Also looking forward to the answer TLKC…

    I haven’t been to Paris for over 20 years, and then only on day trips, or a long weekend…so much of it I haven’t seen. My daughter keeps wanting to go, and we have seriously looked at it for the last 2 years but something else always crops up…

    Love your descriptions though Kradamour..

    Got the morning off work today, to take my son to the hospital, he got his nose broken at rugby yesterday, and there was no specialist in the Government hospital my husband took him to last night available to see him. Will try and find a private one this morning….poor thing, it does look very out of place…

    I would love to see Adam appear on Glee again this year…don’t think it will happen though, love to see him on tv, and it gets me another song for my ipod. I’ve been keeping up with the spoilers on MJ’s…doesn’t sound great so far.

    Looking forward to the new season of The Walking Dead tonight..

    NKD, I got logical too. I don’t seem to be able to pass those quizzes up. Not sure how logical I am now as we have lots of politics going on in our state and I get involved. My daughter,who some of you met in Chicago, is running for a county office and we have a very close Senate race here. My remote is getting a workout. Too many adds on tv. I need Adam news for a nice distraction.

    Hi Kradamour…
    I don’t personally think of myself as creative, but I have been told by quite a few people that they think I am, I suppose compared to some people I am. My birth parents were both art students, and my daughter is very creative, so maybe she got a bit of it from me?

    On that Bo Rap quiz I got 24/26…I’m a bad fanSmile put the trigger instead of my trigger, and never realized they said stone (q23).

    Have never seen those old photos before, they’re great to see.

    Which perhaps explains why I was so nervous yesterday before I left for Thanksgiving dinner. It turns out I was over-worried. My sisters had a talk a couple of hours before dinner. The family split in half for the main meal and we all got together for dessert.

    No stress, no excitement, thank goodness, but no “Friends” scenario, no good story, alas.
