September was a month full of surprises – Adam on Idol, Adam out and about and then to wrap up the month, the announcement of the UK and European Q+AL tour in early 2015. Can’t wait to see what October has in store! In the meantime, we’ll continue with the weekly walk down memory lane and revisit the summer’s concerts.

    VIP Paris is 260 euros, not sure how that compares to other European venues. Just an FYI.
    QAL was the fifth top selling ticket in France the day they went on regular sale.
    Really good tickets still available but a lot of love from the French fandom.

    I’ve read Brian’s letter to the Mexican fan over and over. I think they will do anything and everything possible to support Adam. But they still want to play their music. Maybe give him a raise? Wink Laugh . I feel they are so experienced and have such a love for being on stage that they could do this a few more years. But it’s all up to Adam. JMO.

    The movie 2012 was just on TV and I watched the second half just to hear TFM at the end. I really hate disaster movies and this was an especially bad one. Somehow I never really did get the connect between that song and the movie, but it was lovely hearing Adam’s voice soaring from my TV set just now Big Smile

    I took Brians letter to mean that Adam has other solo stuff to do, so can’t tour indefinitely, but also given their ages they only have a limited time to keep doing this too.

    OH! AEG just bought two concert venues in Virginia, in Richmond and Norfolk. (The National and the NorVa)
    Adam played both of them on the GN tour. AEG books the best for their other venues – it is a huge company, second I believe only to Live Nation – so I am hopeful that Adam will play the NorVa again, even with his higher profile after QAL, for his third album tour. There are so few concert venues here…NorVa is probably too small, but Adam is so little known in my part of the world that the NorVa might be big enough.
    Sorry, that was kind of a random post, but I am really curious about what size venues Adam might go for next time. I think it could be a tough call on the part of his promoters…

    Just checked the spreadsheet…Paris is seriously lagging, even though it has the smallest venue. Queen doesn’t mean much in France, and Adam is very little known there.

    Hi Kradamour. Am thinking if the word gets out on social media over there about how amazing the show is, that may help sales. The curious, the unsure, the “got nothing to do tonight” peeps. Once the tour starts in January it should be interesting to see how Paris and other cities sell. As Brian May said

    The dates depend on someone in each city coming up with a suitable offer to promote the shows in a venue suitable for our present production.

    So someone wants to see them!!

    Now this is interesting. The 9th circuit court told Idaho and Nevada earlier this week that their SSM bans are illegal and the two states filed an appeal to delay implementation of SSM while they appeal to the Supreme Court.

    Today, Justice Kennedy, the presumptive swing vote on the Supreme Court, has granted their request for a stay.

    This is sending a signal that SCOTUS isn’t going to automatically honour Appeals Court rulings on this matter, which gives the 6th circuit judges something else to think about before they issue their decision. Devil

    axxxel, that could well be, I am thinking that fans in countries who can’t get local tickets will be looking for other venues as the time gets closer.
    I hate the idea of QAL playing to a venue that small (less than 6000) that isn’t full.
    But there is plenty of time still to sell tickets.
