As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.
After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. For whoever is starting to catch up with American Horror Story: That was my other favorite show last year.
I am going to try to catch up with Homeland. I know it is awesome, if it beat out Boardwalk, it must be very good.
How do I have time to watch TV?
DVR and insomnia. Empty nest.
And to be honest, less cooking, less cleaning with no kids. Being on WW also helps. Waaaay less cooking, more salads.
And, watching DVR’d shows is so much more pleasant than network shows and no political ads.
I watch something as I get dressed, etc. Sometimes, it’s just a nicer start to the day than news and politics.

Last night I watched the 1st episode of Homeland and it is good but the subject matter is somewhat disturbing and parts are hard to watch for me. I’m going to try a couple more to see if I can manage the rawness of it.

The ring was just meh for me. Why would Adam (or anyone) want a ring that is just the logo of the manufacturer? Unless the mfr was your brother or something and you wanted to advertise for him.

kradamour, Homeland may not be for me either. It’s “real” and political. We have enough of that lately. I like True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and American Horror Story because they are so OTT. Okay, the gangsters were “real”, but the TV show is so OTT and dramatic, it is just incredible to watch.
I never watched 24. Everyone told me I would love it. They may have been right, but I never saw any of it. Now those same people are telling me to watch Homeland.
Californication and Bored to Death are starting soon. They are funny and naughty, I just love them both. Bored to Death has Ted Danson’s character, who just makes me giggle, and Californication has Duchovny. ‘Nuff said. Duchovny. UNF.

I get the impression that TV is a lot more drama and a lot less sitcoms than it was back in the day when I had a TV. Back then, I did love L.A.Law and never missed it! And Cop Rock, which everyone else hated except Adamized, and that common love for Cop Rock is actually what brought us together on the “other” blog. So I am very grateful for that TV show, come to think of it.

I was just videoing myself singing (insert eye roll) when suddenly there’s this white orb that appears out of nowhere in the background when I played it back.

ron many people believe that orbs caught on pictures or films are ghosts, or at least proof that ‘something’ is there……then again it could just be dust!
kradamour I was disappointed with the Trespassing video comment. Everyone else seems to release the videos at the same time time as the single, which would make sense, the video surely helps promote the song, at least on places like MTV, Channel V and youtube.
Can’t join in with all the tv talk, haven’t watched any of those shows you’ve mentioned Mils, apart from trueblood, and I’m way behind on that.

ron, I just saw the vid on fb…..nope it doesn’t look like dust, it seems to be moving in a purposeful manner, like it comes in through the door and towards the camera. I used to watch ghosthunters a lot, and they were always really excited when they saw these orbs.
zzatrms, mr had to give up her “obsession” with Adam in order to get on with her real life, but she still loves him as a singer and a fabulous human being. She follows him through stuff that cher, riskylady , and I send her, and I brought her the UK Trespassing CD from London and the Kiev DVD so she is set for a while.

I think it’s amazing that in every interview Adam did yesterday, the interviewers knew what he had done earlier in the day. So cool.
Good morning everyone. Love reading all about Adam’s appearances yesterday though will have to delay the gratification in terms of watching and listening at least another 24 hours because of work.
eywflyer I love numbers posts – I get numbers and love to extrapolate from them. It’s what I did for a living. I was just sad to see that the conclusion had to be bad – we’ve known forever that radio is resistant to Adam and we all knew deep in our hearts that it would be an uphill battle to get it played.
That said, the fact that RCA is not behind it threw me for a loop and I said what I was feeling (as did you.) My apologies if I upset you – I love you – I love everyone here!

We all have become aware this week that Trespassing is a special kind of single. Some call it a soft single. No separate single being released and no official radio ads this week. RCA seems to be saying to Adam Fans in the U.S. – if you want it played on radio, you do it. I know a lot of us are disappointed that RCA is not backing Trespassing as a single. Instead they have come out with an EP packed full of remixes and radio mixes. Although I am happy about the EP and have bought and gifted and will gift more, my total commitment is to do everything I can to make Trespassing ~ the radio cut off the EP a hit! I want this for many selfish reasons:
1. I love this song and want to hear it on radio
2. This song was co-written by Adam and as he has often said it is his mission statement
3. I want a video of the song and I want more singles and music from Adam
4. I want a Trespassing tour
But the most important reason is that I want this for Adam because he wants Trespassing heard on radio!!
Despite the obstacles put in our path I know we can make this happen. We have to keep requesting even when a radio station tells us they do not have permission to play. Request locally and nationally daily. Call, Tweet, Text and request online. Tonight we all united at Q102 for “You Pick The Song” and with 99% of the vote we reaped the rewards of our effort and it was played. Requesting does matter and being united doing it brings us success.
Adam Storm started a global donating drive to support Trespassing at iTunes and get it to chart high under Pop and General Songs. We will be using every cent we have received to help make this possible. This is not in place of U.S. fans with iTunes accounts, but to help those that do not have iTunes accounts to be a part of this effort and for those that do not have time to gift to let us do the gifting for them. We also wanted to include the international fans in our effort as they are just as much affected by what happens here in the U.S. The petitions today by fans in France and Germany should make all international fans aware as to how crucial it is to support fans in the U.S. to make Trespassing a hit.
I cannot emphasize how important it is for Adam Fans/Glamberts/Glamily to unite and commit to do everything we can to show our purchase power at iTunes and drive Trespassing up the charts. We are a passionate and committed fan base and for us not to make this extra effort is not what we are all about. Sales do matter a lot. Let’s help Adam get out of radio demographic hell!!
The radio mix that radio is playing is the Zak Waters version and though I prefer the Pharrell version as it is based on the original off the Cd, I feel we must go with what radio is playing! We all must be on the same page in which version we buy and gift so if this is not the choice of fans, please let me know so we can make a decision before midnight the 16th. Weigh in and let your voice be heard.
Pretty Little Liars is the 23rd of October and Adam singing both Trespassing and Cuckoo I hope will further help our efforts by non fans going to iTunes to buy and with our effort to keep it at the top of iTunes, they will easily find it and help keep it at the top even longer. How can radio not play it if we succeed in making this happen. I hope everyone will jump onboard with this. Yes, we can fail at our attempt, but we can also succeed and if we do, radio will play, sales will be good and maybe then RCA will feel more confident that Adam’s fans can make a difference.
FYI – if you decde to support the EP, buy a hard copy from AO and download the singles individually from iTunes. They will each count as one vote for Trespassing. The EP will be great for autographing – Adam will take one look at it and know that you are a big fan.
I am one of the lucky people who did not download the cd. I decided from the get-go to download the songs one-by-one as they were released to single and I will download it this week.

Interesting, Ron. I have done a lot of subtitling for Ghost Hunters International, and all I can say that they usually found some explanation for them. This one does seem to travel purposefully, but what do I know.

OMG — I loooooved this duet!!!! They both did such a great job, and I would love for them to record this entire song. Adam is always such a good sport. He is often put on the spot, but has an amazing way of just going with the flow.

Ron, I used to be a doubter about orbs and such until a few years ago. My husband and I spent a weekend on Galveston Island for business. As you may know, the Galveston area was hit by probably the worst weather-related distasters in U.S. history back in 1900, with estimates of up to 12,000 casualties. One evening, we joined another couple and walked around the city. The wife was really into spirits, etc., so she suggested that we take photographs of windows, stairwells, etc. and see if anything showed up after developing. Even I had a hard time explaining what appeared in one of my photographs – at the top of a stairwell was a leg in what appeared to be a riding boot. Everyone sees it in the picture, nobody saw it the night I took the picture!

My friend (a psychic) visited me in Edmonton, Alberta, and we went to West Edmonton Mall. Upon seeing a Christmas store – in the middle of summer – she wanted to take a picture, because in the Netherlands Christmas stuff doesn’t come out till December. She waited till nobody was walking nearby to get a clear shot. When she pushed the button she said ‘darn, somebody walked in the shot anyway’, although I didn’t see anybody.
After developing there was a big white blur in the picture.
No clue what it was, but it sure wasn’t visible on the spot.

I feel warm and happy, all the interviews were so good! I have a feeling that Adam makes his best, relaxed, on the loose interviews when having a jet lag – he has said sometimes before that jet lag gives him a funny feeling, makes him even more open, losing filter. I love those naughty little things he says 
And then “You’re the one that I want”, I was like iik! In a positive way. I really loved the movie crease at my teens.
