October was a relatively quiet month for Adam. His short set at AT&T Live Proud was one of the few times that Adam has performed solo in a while so was nice to see and hear. I’m sure that October will end with a bang since Adam is hosting his 2nd annual Halloween bash.
November’s photo is from Adam’s appearance at the Marco Marco fashion show.

    Written by a John McCrae – a Canadian soldier. We all wear poppies here, too, HKfan. There are fewer and fewer WW2 vets out there to hand them out with every passing year but the stores have taken up a lot of the slack.

    Got on the bus last night and saw the twitter party happening in what appeared like real time. For some reason my twitter seems to report everything late but NVM. Didn’t see any answers only questions. Did one of those enterprising fans put the whole thing together for us?

    Eber is a hoot. He deserves a car just for that tweet. (He must have Adam on twitter alert.)

    Sorely tempted to do Wembley but it would have to be a quick trip for work reasons. Also, the UK weather is a crap shoot at that time of year. It can be unseasonably warm or absolute hell.

    YAY! for QAL with these new concerts and much more money for Adam. When is the new promo cycle going to start, though? Reading through everyone’s concerns and I share them. Adam needs to be in the US for the release of his single and cd. Tap, tap, tap tap…

    Still, it’s a wonderful world when the worst you have to do is navigate the challenges of releasing a new cd and fronting for Queen.

    TLKC…anyone can sell poppies, at least in the UK….you just have to be 18, I did it when I turned 18. It doesn’t have to be a WW2 vet….Although it was started to remember the dead from the 2 World Wars, it has carried on and is in remembrance of any military personel , people are still being killed on injured in conflicts. The Royal British legion use money raised for many things, they run hospitals, provide medical care, rehabilitation for injured servicemen…..even small things, like a super armchair that raised up, and reclined for my father when his arthritis got so bad he couldn’t stand very well.

    Thanks guys! For now, looks like we’ll be the only ALL “boots on the ground” at Wembley. Sorry your schedule doesn’t fit, cwm, but would love it if you could make it TLKC!
    Can’t believe I actually considered sitting on stage, at £1,009 each (taking leave of my senses)! Were I alone, I would’ve though!

    I think Adam was in a pissy mood last night, judging just from his first questions, and some fan questions probably didn’t help. I mean, hello! They have maintained absolute secrecy for the most part about the album and asking for details is just ridiculous. Or, “are you coming to Europe?” Huh?
    Kinda glad he just left before he said something really snarky to a fan. Oh, and Perez jumping in didn’t help either.
    I just wonder if he was really referring to Jonas at first.
    Maybe these straight guys are seeing how so many women drool over the gorgeous gay guys, and copy them to capture part of that. Dare I say that straight women and gay men may like lots of the same things lolol.
    Glad he hasn’t bowed to the “bare all” trend and hope he never does. Keeps the fire going, just wanting to rip those bodices!

    about his mood last night. And even though he tweetd Perez back it threw him off somehow. And yup the questions (except cwm’s)were just silly. “Are you coming to Europe”, geez. I was actually a little nervous that he might say something he shouldn’t too. I’m glad it ended. He probably won’t do another twitter party for awhile!!

    I read on twitter or maybe it was posted here?? Nick Jonas is part of Edge Management…Adam’s management. So as usual Adam will pimp those artists’ music. Not the other way around unfortunately. I actually don’t mind Nick’s song but I do change the station in my car. He just doesn’t seem authentic. Maybe it’s from knowing of him & his family for so long.

    riskylady You are my SUPER HERO! Wembley Arena! Isn’t that the place we were all reserving space on the broom stick to fly over if BB every made it there. Then I think we decided there would be too many of us so we all started saving our pennies in a big jar…… Darn you jar must have been gigantic. Wow, just wow!

    Think he may have been a little hard on his fans last night about asking interesting questions. So many subjects that fans are interested in are verboten, such as his music/album. And the 140-character limitation doesn’t lend itself to explication of anything important anyway. Think it probably best to keep it light and funny – seems to like humor as much as anything. (Don’t think he’s up for front-page stuff like net neutrality or the climate deal with China – lol.)

    HI ALL-
    The duke got up before 4am this morning to try for some decent seats at Wembley.(we tried yesterday when we learned about the 3 new concerts but didn’t find much unless onstage and way too $$$!) He found nothing but nosebleed seats for top dollar. Even the resale tix are bad! He’s still checking from time to time during the day. Maybe he’ll get lucky! So good going Risky…glad you were already there.

    Okay peeps, sorry, but, as I thought, the Wembley show is at SSE, next to the stadium. I did a little research and found this:

    The SSE has 12,500 capacity. The new stadium has 90,000. The OLD stadium, which was demolished in 2003, had a capacity of 76-90,000. The SSE is next to the stadium.

    Queen filled the old Wembley three times. Their biggest crowds were at Knebworth, with over 120,000.

    So, I would safely say that the Kiev concert had Queen’s largest audience ever.

    If, If, they play and fill the new Wembley stadium, wow. That would be historic and nostalgic. If the Knebworth site/festival were ever to happen, that would be amazing too.
