October was a relatively quiet month for Adam. His short set at AT&T Live Proud was one of the few times that Adam has performed solo in a while so was nice to see and hear. I’m sure that October will end with a bang since Adam is hosting his 2nd annual Halloween bash.
November’s photo is from Adam’s appearance at the Marco Marco fashion show.

    Once again, Queen has added a concert on the day we were flying home. And, once again I have sold my soul to British Air to change to the 25th of Feb. Got tickets to Wembley and extended B&B one more night.
    Just couldn’t resist. I mean, we’re already there, right?

    Thanks for the props, luval! I joined in the party late, after he came back briefly. Tossed him a few questions that I, of course, thought were pretty good, but they didn’t make the cut. LOL

    I think he got distracted by something else. Or Perez’ stupid tweet bummed his mood and he lost his momentum.

    I do prefer it when he signs off when he’s done with a twitter party so that we know. It’s a little anticlimactic when he just stops and doesn’t say anything mo…

    Good to see so many expressions of gratitude to our veterans today. As a military family here (husband, daughter, three sons-in-law, two uncles) very much appreciated.

    Catching up with a couple of days’ posts…ditto for me, those expressions mean a lot to the many of us with military members present and past. For me: husband, son, son’s fiancée, father, father in law, five uncles. Never counted them up before.
    My husband always wears a poppy in remembrance on Veterans Day, as do many Europeans. I wish that more here would adopt that, it is a lovely custom.

    riskylady– I’m so happy to hear that you and riskyhubby are staying for the Wembley concert. Gosh, how could you pass that up when all you had to do was stay an extra day in London and fork over a small fortune to British Airways? It’s totally worth it. Adamized and I considered staying in Europe an extra few days to go to Wembley, but just couldn’t rationalize the extra time away from work and home. Now if they add another concert on 2/20 or 2/21, we would probably succumb to that temptation and drag cwm down with us.

    The Royal British Legion poppy appeal is a cause very close to my heart too. When I was young my father was the chairman of our towns Royal British Legion Branch, and my mother was also a member of the mens section, having both served in the forces during WW2….They spent many years (about 30) selling poppies door to door and street collections, and running the appeal for the town. The boxes of poppies used to arrive at our house when we were young, and the stems, leaves, petals and black centres all used to be in separate boxes, and me and my brother used to spend weeks putting them all together ready to sell. And Remberance sunday was either spent watching the parade in our town, or watching to try and see my parents as they attended the parade at the Cenotaph in London. And the day befoe I would always be in the town hall, helping load up the collectors boxes with more poppies, and collect their tins. My brother now runs the poppy appeal in my hometown….even in HK I always manage to donate and get a poppy every year.
