Another month has arrived, and we are all anxiously awaiting the lead single from Adam’s upcoming new album. Will the new single be released this month? Will Adam perform at the American Music Awards once again? I think that Adam’s recent appearance on the cover of The Advocate signals that things are about to start happening again.

Hopefully our long wait is almost over. Enjoy the chat!

    TR3 repeated the EMA awards this afternoon. I had it playing while doing laundry. When it finally got to the BEST part of the show, I sat down to watch and my husband took that opportunity to come in and rant about something that was aggravating him. Couldn’t he see it was QUEEN? More importantly, couldn’t he hear it was ADAM? Grrr. Go away! (Good thing I have it recorded! LOL)

    Adam looks slim, sleek, tasteful ( as in yummy ) and gorgeous as always on that Red Carpet. Can’t see pants and boots, or hands to check out gloves/no gloves, but, since he’s not performing, I’m going on record for no gloves.

    And the stuff of much Adommy fanfic. I never believed a second of it. But, that kiss was glorious.

    I remember Adam was voted “naughtiest ” celeb of the week on some TV show for his smoking the blunt, not for the kiss.

    Also celebrating an anniversary is Home Planet. Much hilarity over there.

    Y’know, I am starting to see BFM as sort of benign. It’s out there. Some peeps like it (not a problem, peeps who like Adam for any reason!), and there will be enough distance between it and Trespassing to minimize confusion. (shrugs) Not ideal but whatever. Having a real actual album title to contrast with BFM is a good thing, also.

    Sheesh….listening to these AMA red carpet groups sing makes me appreciate Adam so much more. My ears are burning and they keep saying “what an incredible performance”. Right now I don’t care what Better than… whatever….will sound like. I can’t wait..

    We ended up with a very diverse list of 84 nominees! Here is a repost of the Top 16 voting instructions:

    1) Click on the blue “Administrator” or “eywflyer” text in the upper right part of the screen (under Need Help? Site Contacts).

    2) A contact form will come up on the next screen. Fill in your name and email address in the specified areas.

    3) In the Message box, type in your choices for best performance as a numbered list from 1-16 (i.e. your choice for the #1 performance listed first). It will be easiest for me to tabulate the results if your choices are referred to in the same manner as they are listed on the ballot of nominees. One way to do this – have two tabs open in your web browser, one with the list of nominees and one with the contact/message form. One at a time, highlight each of your choices in the nominee list, click “control-c” to copy the text, then switch to the contact form tab, place the cursor in the appropriate location in the Message box, then click “control-v” to paste the text.

    4) When you have finished entering your list of choices, click on the “Submit” button below the Message box. You will see feedback indicating that your message has been sent, then you will be redirected back to the front page of the site.

    Votes submitted in this manner will be forwarded by email to me immediately.

    Vote by November 30 – the Top 16 countdown will begin on December 1!

    If I may, one suggestion, maybe you could start the December thread with a copy of all of this, so that we can easily find it then. I’m pretty sure that we’ll have many more pages filled of November thread by then!

    OMG how perfect was that to bring the suit back! FLOVE our boy! Just this side of “in your face, ABC!”.

    He hasn’t worn the suit since, that I know of. Not like him to wear something only once in two years. Wonder if he consciously put it aside for just this return to the AMAs?

    Speaking of nominees – looks like there will be some pics from tonight that will have to be considered to headline our December chat thread! I love that Adam wore part of the same outfit tonight – just the sort of subtle statement he likes to make.
