Hi Ron. Gotta set my dvr in case. I’m thinking, why would he go to such an event just to see awards being given to other singers unless something is happening for him to do. Even to present an award would be good, right?
I remember watching that vid and trying not to get too excited about ‘rumor has it’ that Adam will be performing at AMA’s. Even tho it’s a decent source, I’m skeptical. So I’ll be very, very cautious about this one and just cross one whazzit.

I love the title Trespassing. And, Trespassing Tour? Looorve the sound of it. Hoping he trespasses is way right into my town, my yard, he’s already trespassed into my heart…

It would be great!! He needs all the exposure he can get right now. Was speaking with luval earlier and we wondered why Adam wasn’t on the talk shows singing “Outlaws Of Love” as a kind of preview of the album before the single drops.

in my mind! Adam is going to be on the AMA’s and in a lone spotlight with only piano accompaniment will perform “Outlaws Of Love”. Plain, simple and elegant.No ninja rolls or people on leashes this time!
Ron, I will speculate that it is because he doesn’t want peeps to expect the album as ballad-centric. I suspect that Outlaws is not representative of other cuts on the album.
I like the concept of the name Trespassing, but linguistically it doesn’t work for me. And I remember the Genesis CD of the almost same name…wonder if Adam did? Trespass is a strong word. No matter. It is the music that counts. But some DJs are going to develop lisps saying this…

You make perfect sense, Kradamour, which completely shoots down my “Outlaws Of Law” performance on the AMA’s.
Oh, well. 
If he only sits in the audience, it’s a great gesture from the AMA people to invite him. I’m sure he must be very pleased and I’m very pleased for him.
Agree with cher though. If he’s going to be there, I think he’ll be more than just a member of the audience.
I really don’t think OOL will be the single, and I hope it actually isn’t. It is waaaaay too “ballady” to be a lead single for a hopefully rock and dance album.
I’ll ( duck ) and admit that it took me several listens to even like it. Sorry. Haven’t listened to it in a very long time. I’m hoping the album version is different. Or another live performance even. This could end up like Aftermath all over again.
He needs a song like Fever or Sleepwalker or a dancy one to be his lead single. I’m hoping he learned from FYE that a strong lead song is the best.

I can just see the video. Adam sneaking around, blindfold over his eyes, like in the Katy Perry pictures, with his eyes poking through.

I was at “an idol site” reading the Adam thread and really was amused by the certain poster who is always degrading Adam. I actually find it really funny that Adam annoys this person so much. With all the fantastic Adam news lately this person is probably unable to even sleep at night. LOL I couldn’t even work up any anger over the posts just laughter over ridiculous statements.
By the way Adam is such a tease, I bet he was really having fun today.

Hi All Half way to my destination – checking in. Wow some great news I see. Now I will make sure I watch the AMAs. Was going to skip it this year. Now fingers are crossed for a song. But if he presents that is ok too. No matter what he does he starts to write a new AMA history. Can’t wait. Long day tomorrow – good night all.

I’ve been watching the tv advertisements for the AMAs and every time they list people, they say “…and much more!” I kept thinking Adam would be MUCH MORE. Wouldn’t it be cool if Queen repeated their performance with Adam on the AMAs for those who might not have seen it on the EMAs. In my heart, I know it is very unlikely. But now we hear he’s supposed to be there. I’m excited. It will be good to see him on the red carpet or a just a quick shot of him in the audience. But would love to see him just KILL IT in a performance on the AMAs to make up for the last one.
So. If it’s real, we have some speculatin’ to do.
Hair: High. Very high. Very very high. And high-lighted. I’m thinking purple. Adam loved Jessie J’s purple hair.
Shirt: Flowy and black and v-necked.
Jacket: Either black, or with color, like his blue one, or, he may go more Bruno Mars on us.
Pants: Tight and black and shiny.
Boots: High heels, maybe medges, maybe not.

BTW: did anyone notice how gorgeous Sauli looked last night in NYC? His suit looked very expensive ( even though he had the “wrong” button buttoned, it should have been the one lower, or left open), and he was rocking some guy-liner too. Adam’s lip freckles were showing. Love that.
Trespassing can also be part of a verb form – “You are trespassing” as well as a gerund “Trespassing is forbidden.” I like the title – but can see it ending up as “The Trespass Album” by fans. And as a word to be sung, the sibilants in “trespassing” are rather sexy. As an album title, it could be rather striking as it would appear to be almost a warning – perhaps put an exclamation point after it.

Ron, one of my very first, and I do mean very first posts ever, was in response to an on-line article titled “Why Cougars Love Adam Lambert”. It was way before I discovered MJ’s. Anyway, I posted about why I loved him. About why I had such a visceral reaction to him.
One of my reasons was that I felt he could be a huge star on stage, screen and TV. I suggested that he could have his own talk show, have a variety show. He is so versatile, so engaging, so funny, quick-witted and intelligent.
Emmy indeed.
Oh I almost forgot – cocoglam thank you for the book suggestion. Just got my IPad up and running. So will be looking for some books to read.

I am thinking he will be backstage getting ready to close the show, not saying you wont believe how Adam is closing the show this time, just Adam coming on to sing his closing song, no name again, it seems he doesnt need his name announced any more, the world knows who he is, its just his singing now, only about the voice. Only I am stumped what he will sing,he is dropping a hint just like he did 2 weeks ago. He has turned a sneaky little guy!
Maybe his album title means he is planning to show up at the AMAs, but as an unwelcome guest…. LOL!

Glamberts made the AMA lives very hard the past 2 years and have been bombarding them on twitter. I have to say though that they have been very receptive on twitter to the Adam fans. He may not have been banned from the AMAs but he sure was banned on GMA. However, I forgive them now that he’s invited back.
