Another month has arrived, and we are all anxiously awaiting the lead single from Adam’s upcoming new album. Will the new single be released this month? Will Adam perform at the American Music Awards once again? I think that Adam’s recent appearance on the cover of The Advocate signals that things are about to start happening again.

Hopefully our long wait is almost over. Enjoy the chat!

    Ron Thanks for the new tool. I will have to play with that one. I don’t use Foxfire much. Safari is my go to choice. But I can see this being something that will become more & more necessary. Is it me or are those avi(s) getting smaller!!! LOL

    I know some folks have suggested a Top 24, or separate lists for live/studio tracks or epic/fun performances, but I’d prefer to stick with one Top 16 list. Easier to tabulate the results, and the countdown of the results will wrap up on December 16th, the first anniversary of the end of the Glam Nation Tour. Voting will start Sunday and continue through November 30. Results will be posted (countdown style with one song per day) starting on December 1.

    Miss Chaos, given how long the nominee list has become, I would recommend that you vote as follows (if possible, please don’t vote before November 20 so that everyone has a chance to make their nominations first):

    1) Click on the blue “Administrator” or “eywflyer” text in the upper right part of the screen (under Need Help? Site Contacts).

    2) A contact form will come up on the next screen. Fill in your name and email address in the specified areas.

    3) In the Message box, type in your choices for best performance as a numbered list from 1-16 (i.e. your choice for the #1 performance listed first). It will be easiest for me to tabulate the results if your choices are referred to in the same manner as they are listed on the ballot of nominees. One way to do this – have two tabs open in your web browser, one with the list of nominees and one with the contact/message form. One at a time, highlight each of your choices in the nominee list, click “control-c” to copy the text, then switch to the contact form tab, place the cursor in the appropriate location in the Message box, then click “control-v” to paste the text.

    4) When you have finished entering your list of choices, click on the “Submit” button below the Message box. You will see feedback indicating that your message has been sent, then you will be redirected back to the front page of the site.

    Votes submitted in this manner will be forwarded by email to me immediately.

    I hope this will be a fun activity for the next few weeks, as we patiently await new material from Adam!

    asif, no it’s fine – those were the instructions I posted originally and people can vote that way too. I’m just thinking that editing the long list of nominees down to a Top 16 will be rather unwieldly in the limited screen area of the Message form – lots of scrolling back and forth.

    If I receive any votes where the choices are unclear, I’ll email folks individually seeking clarification.

    Just got back from the mall; the calendar kiosk had Gaga, Bieber, MJ etc but NO Adam, not surprised. Maybe I’ll print out my own pictures and have one made! Guess some of my picture choices may raise some eyebrows at the local WalMart photo center,lol

    IKR…. In making my “Sweet 16” list, I’m planning on focusing on those performances that compelled me to watch (or listen to) over and over and over again.
    Yep, not an easy task….. Confused

    So I received a reply from Super Bowl:

    the duke loved the EMAs and is listening to the CD I made of them by himself in the car. He’s a fan; loves our guy and the power and emotion of Adam’s performance doesn’t seem to let up with additional hearing. Neither of us has been able to break away yet. And the Duke’s musical background let’s him hear more… he’s still working on the vibrato sceanario with me!. I get it and I love it!

    Fingers crossed that “bold’ is done correctly!
