The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

That’s so sweet but, trust me, I’ve met him and through the years I’ve come to know him quite well!
It’s no big deal.
We’re going to have some kind of get together on Saturday July 12th around 4pm on into the evening. We have a few months to decide but it will either be at my place, TLKC’s house or at a restaurant patio. We’ll come up with something. You and your husband are more than welcome to join us!
With some hesitation – after all, I already had a ticket – I bought a better ticket than the one I had with luval on the Floor level, row 34-Left.
luval too has purchased another ticket. In order to do this, we will no longer be sitting together for the show.
luval still has a Floor level seat but is now in row 17-Left. I am on the Floor too but in row 21-Right and I believe mine is an aisle seat next to the center section.
This means that, for me, that ramp that protrudes into the audience will only be 10 rows in front of me. I’m very pleased about that.
So, it looks like I have 2 seats available in row 34-Left on the Floor if anyone is interested in buying them. Or if anyone knows of anyone who’d be interested in buying them. Each seat is $130.00 U.S. I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to sell them or really how to go about it but I thought that I’d start here. One has to begin somewhere.
Sparkle, I didn’t know until the last minute if I was really going to get another ticket this morning until it happened. I otherwise would have offered them to you!
Hi Ron – Thanks for the invite to the festivities! No worries about the tickets – I think I’ll be happy that they are a few rows up from floor level – hopefully eye level with Adam! Need to pack binoculars! I’m glad you were able to get closer to the “action”. Did you get them through ticketmaster or a resale site?
Ron did little duchess get tickets? She was looking for them and wasn’t having any luck.
Sparkle, I went through TicketMaster again and paid the same amount that I did for the first ticket that I bought. It was a total of $146.50 Canadian ($130.00 U.S.)
You can see what great shape the Canadian dollar is in! But, on the other hand, people coming here from the U.S., will get much more in exchange for the U.S. dollar!
I don’t think most realize that, or have thought about it, and I don’t think that things are going to change very much in that regard between now and July.

I saw the post that little dutchess made about having no choices.
I was at it for about 45 minutes this morning and was offered a number of different sections and seats before the one I took popped up.
I don’t know why it would be any different, and I’m so sorry that it was, for little dutchess!
I know that she and the Duke have tickets and I think that they are trying for better seats.
I hope that we’ll hear from her soon that she was able to do that!

Ron – Took a look at stubhub -looks like tickets in your vicinity were selling for about $200 US so you might make a little money if no one from ALL needs those tickets. BTW, in Philly , the ramp ends at the intersection of the center and the left floor sections. Are you sure luval doesn’t have the better seat? Or is it set up the other way for Toronto?
I looked up Detroit on stubhub and it is the only one showing a ramp. Curious as to why?

As for me-I am status quo. No additional seats although there were some decent seats in Vancouver that the Duke wanted but I’m so far out of my original travel plans as it is that I passed.
Ron, I was on Toronto for about 40 mins and did not get seats offered for at least the first 25mins..is it because I’m looking for 2? I don’t know. After that we got some seats in the 300s tossed at us and a few not as good as what we already have…so I don’t know.As I said before, for whatever reason there’s so bad karma at my house.
Will be looking for Chicago tomorrow–bec. it’s 1st and the Duke’s b’day and then San Jose and LA which would make a nice swing along with my Las Vegas tix.
Or, if I could get PHL and NYC those would go along with an East coast trip starting with Toronto.

Oh, and I got locked out by Ticketb*stard AGAIN after browsing through Vancouver for a bit. I guess they didn’t like that I shopped CT, Toronto and Vancouver in one morning—all separately and one at a time with only one window to Ticketmaster opened. WTF!!!
Ron can you not contact Ticketmaster and do any exchange for your original ticket? Someone posted the “new” formerly unknown rules about exchanges and refunds.Wouldn’t you(and luval qualify for your new tix being an exchange? It might be worth trying. I had figured if I found something better I could put in for a refund on the originals because for me it’s only been 48 hours!
little dutchess, Ron called ticketmaster and I investigated. Air Canada Centre does not subscribe to this policy…at least for the Queen show. It says something about “not every venue, not every show”.
I would be pretty sure that it might apply to a sports event where families attend…kids get sick, etc…they are more lenient with the rules.

I truly emphasize with the hassle you’re experiencing and that so many of us have gone through with these tickets!
I’m certain that searching for 2 seats together was a big factor. This is why luval and I decided last night to go our separate ways, so to speak, with it being much easier to find a single ticket than it is for two together.
Still, it shouldn’t have taken 25 minutes before you were given an option to buy … something!
I phoned a TicketMaster Customer Service rep last night to ask about ticket exchanges. The guy I spoke with was very nice and very thorough. He checked twice for me and there are no exchanges.
luval guesses, and I think that it’s a good guess, that this exchange policy is used mainly for sporting events and not for concerts.
If you want to phone the 1-800 number to ask about refunds, it’s: 1-800-653-8000. But, my original e-tickets indicate No Refunds. No Exchanges.
I called at 6pm btw and was on hold for less than 10 minutes.
Does anyone have a link to the interactive map with the actual catwalk? Mils, I believe you mentioned something about that.

I’m having a flashback, I remember that the Des Moines show was a mere 14 days after the last Hammersmith show. I remember posting and thinking how surreal it was that after all the epic-ness of that tour with Queen, here he was, singing a mini-set after that Neon Trees crap, time cut short, virtually in a field.
Our guy has come so far since then.
But, I’m also thinking that everyone that was at the Des Moines show will likely be at the Chicago concert.

Totally new concept for the show, set design – there was no set for the last shows they did, only back lights – and … outfits for Adam.
Same songs, with maybe a surprise thrown in, but in a different order.
What IS Adam going to wear? I think that we can rule out long coats or top hats. Animal print shirt? No, we’ve all seen that
too many times IMHO. Spikes on the shoulders look? Been there, did that. Suit and tie? Not for this show! Zebra pants? I don’t think so.That leaves him coatless, hatless, shirtless and without pants.
So I guess we’ll see him in some kind of shoes or boots because otherwise he’ll be nude.

It’s so funny. Miley has been wearing the
bathmatjacket in yellow on her tour.I remember watching the Blonde’s fashion shows, and hoping for a glimpse of Adam, and wondering who would be buying those onesies with all the sequins? Well, it turns out Miley did. Her whole show is done by them.
FWIW, that red fur jacket brought Adam a lot of attention. I still kinda like it.

I think we can rule out little white hot pants. LULZ. Adam referred to some of the outrageous outfits Freddie wore, including those infamous white hot pants, shorts up to …there. And shirtless. Freddie. was often shirtless.
I do think that with Adam trying so hard to NOT be Freddie, alas, he’ll never lose his shirt.
