The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!
With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

Well, my first ever attempt to buy concert tix may be a $675.00 failure. Everything in Calgary is apparently sold out except the $400 and $500 packages. Even the$225 – got really crappy seats up 9 rows but right beside the stage. Has anybody ever sat there?
Should I just try to dump them and hunt for something better?
God I hate Ticketmaster. And in 20 minutes I have to try again with Vancouver.
Ha Ceddies. I once went to the UK and didn’t tell my relatives. Hated to do it but I couldn’t face the running around to various small cities. As long as you don’t bump into them on the street, it will be okay

The $400 tickets are major, Calgary. You could rationalize that this is okay for ONE of the concerts and then buy regular tickets for the rest. The jumbotron helps a lot.

Words can’t express the gratitude and love I feel for all my wonderful friends here who put in the hours of effort today to make this possible. This July is going to be AWESOME!!!!
My main reason for choosing Chicago is the chance to meet some of you peeps from the Midwest as well as seeing old friends again. Would love to do the DC show so I could see those folks, but I can’t do them all. That’s a couple hundred miles extra driving one way compared to Chicago. Plus, Chicago is the first show.

I have VIP seats for Chicago and lawn for Maryland(DC)
Hubby bought them for me for our anniversary which is tomorrow. Well actually I have been online between work duties all day lol. He is paying for them though.
I might try for a seat or two in Maryland later on just to be able to go down closer for a bit. Hubby is going to Chicago with me and Hubby Daughter and Son in Law going to Maryland. Venue is actually just down the road from where my daughter is house hunting.
Looking forward to meeting many of you. I really wanted to do Vegas but just not in the cards, pun intended.

Okay. I give up. There are not enough 4-letter words in the universe to express how I felt when I got onto the Vancouver site seconds after it opened, only to be told there are NO $141 tickets AT ALL. And the only $225 tickets are almost behind the stage. Thank god I’m not a serious fan of other popular groups!
It’s funny odd, actually. Not funny ha ha! It was a week’s holiday tacked on to a business trip. I spent most of the holiday part sleeping in the hotel until 2pm. Turned out I was quite ill and should never have gone. Just didn’t have the energy to engage.

Don’t give up Calgary. Madison Square Gardens was worse! No one got anything for the first 30 minutes and now it’s a free for all! They save some for other presales and even open sale has decent tickets most of the time. Saturday Vegas is a nightmare.

Calgary, it is so frustrating. If I didn’t see what I liked, I clicked search again. Many times, nothing came up, but only because the system was busy showing tickets to others online. Keep trying until you get what you want. VIPs ($225) were offering probably the better seats.

I have given up. Almost nothing in Vancouver. NO fan tix, nothing on the floor, no ultimate VIP, crappy diamond VIP (end only), other than that, apparently only nosebleed seats. Ticketmaster is the Evil Empire. I have been glued to this computer since 5.30 am Hawaii time. I clearly don’t know what I’m doing, plus it’s almost 18 hours since we last ate and my hubby is getting cranky. If my brain were a person, right now it would be a 2-year-old lying on the floor pounding her fists, having a screaming tantrum at the grocery store.

After about an hour of “search again” … I was suddenly denied access to TicketMaster!!! “Forbidden Access”. WHAT?!??
Did I click on one “search again” too many?
I used that “AnonymoX” plug in, changed my IP address, and was eventually able to get back in and get the seats that I wanted.
Had to send the Order Confirmation to Print Out Tickets to Gil at his work office because we don’t have a printer. He just emailed: “Okay. Done”.
NOW, I can FINALLY relax … and wait for July 13th to roll around.
Calgary, if you have an account set up with eBay, that’s another option. You’ll pay more, of course, but that’s what I did to see Barbra Streisand.
All of the tickets with TicketMaster were snapped up in 15 minutes and I was left out! I couldn’t believe it! I missed my one chance to see someone that I’ve admired for decades. How could this happen?
So I turned to eBay.
My $80.00 seat cost me $200.00 (ouch) but … it was worth it.

twilightmagic8 you do not need to be in the ALFC site to get to the tickets. I’m sure you know the password by now, so just go straight to ticketmaster and enter it in at the venue you want. All Adam and Queen-related presale passcodes were the same.

Wow, what a morning! I was on the computer for 4 hours. I Did manage to get tickets for the two venues I wanted (L.A. And San Jose. I hope everyone else got what they we looking for. I have a vision of our BOY as he is ROLFLHAO he is so happy.

Calgary and Edmonton tickets seem to be hard to get. They have small populations but Canadians are Queen fans and perhaps major groups don’t go to either city that often. The Canadian guy who sang Bohemian Rhapsody in the back of a police car; he is from Alberta.

Calgary, you need to join our regular email threads! We were fairly organized with spreadsheets etc and you would hear all the advice from the jaded ticket buyers like myself who tell you that the best seats are not sold first. They opened decent seats an hour to two hours after the presale started. Even open sale will have nice seats right off the bat. Vegas Saturday night is the only one I have not been able to get so far. jlurks got a single one. They do have some left for open sale friday so fingers crossed. Otherwise the scalpers have a ton of them. Ugh
Twilightmagic8 there are VIP table seats available at the Vegas venue by email. not cheap but the price of the VIP diamond packages. Those were being sold since last week. They might still have the 3rd level loft ones available. jointvip@hrhvegas.com
