After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to ~~an undetermined time~~ later this spring. ~~I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.~~

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

eywflyer…You are right, the inequality in US policy is in full ugly display in the are of immigration. I have been wondering for a while now how long Sauli would be able to remain in the US. I would not be surprised to see Adam & Sauli either move to Finlabd or some other European country at some point where their relationship would receive appropriate legal recognition.

They could always move to Canada! I’ll trade you Celine Dion and Bieber for Adam and Sauli!
Seriously though, it could be a problem. I worked in the US for 6 years on a visa and then returned to Canada. My Canadian partner was officially not allowed to join me but if I had a wife, she could. So my partner just “visited” me for 6 years. It’s best not to leave once you’re in though if you are “just visiting”!

I’ve worried some about this too. It also strikes me that since Sauli’s employment is based in Finland, he would not be able to get a work visa here unless he gets a job that is based here. Which means he’s just on a tourist visa? And those expire at some point. I sure don’t know how all the immigration stuff works, but the fact that they can’t get married may become an issue an some point re: Sauli being able to stay in the country.

Four words, nekkid: “Defense of Marriage Act”. It confirmed by federal statute that for all matters of federal jurisdiction (social security, immigration, income taxes, etc.), marriage can only be between one man and one woman. Period. (I actually wrote a scholarly paper about the DOMA.)

The interesting (and ironic) thing is this: the military may be the group that finally puts this piece of legislative trash out in the trashbin where it belongs. The military is a tight community, and now that gays may serve openly, how do you say to the surviving spouse of a soldier killed in combat that he/she is not eligible for survivor benefits because of the same gender? A military spouse is a military spouse, and we are pretty protective of our own.

Adam’s celebrity status will also enable Sauli to stay here as long as he wishes. Look how many foreign athletes and actors stay here indefinitely and usually even end up with residency status…not naming names. My two cents

One of the “Fab Five”, TLKC GAVE me this computer that I’m using now! A 4 year old Dell laptop compared to my 9 year old Dell desktop. My “new” computer is 3x … well, everything compared to the relic I was using. Excellent software called “PCmover” successfully migrated ALL of my files, folders, directories, bookmarks and programs from the XP Dell to this Dell Vista. Good thing about the programs as I’ve long since lost many of the registration keys/activation codes to get them running.

I was able to watch that video without the picture freezing while the audio continued! What a novelty! I’d become so used to the picture always freezing several times while watching any video.

Anyone getting a new computer who needs to transfer everything from the old computer, buy PCmover. It works! ($30)

NCOE wasn’t even on my radar compared to the others but now I’d be very happy if it’s the second single. We have to know that Adam personally wants it to be “Trespassing”. I base this on his retweet of the song … the only one of the four that he retweeted … and Tommy encouraging an audience recently to applaud louder for “Trespassing” when Adam asked which one do you like the best. Tommy has to know which one Adam prefers based on that action. IMO

Love my new PC! I’m very fortunate to have such caring and generous friends!
