After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    Another Adam’s thread on MJ that is thisclose of being closed.
    Does it only happens on Adam related threads? Most of the comments are already gone.. (pouting).
    It was fun while it lasted, though….

    I think MJ knew what was coming and she already as deleted some of the haters comment. I feel sorry for her, it has to be exhausting moderating those threads, especially those about Adam and Durbin. It’s pathetic how vindictive and spiteful some people can be. I think they deliberately want to get the thread closed for good. Why can’t they rein in the crap and act like adults instead of spoiled, jealous children.

    I have to admit that I quickly skimmed some of the comments on that Adam thread. I noticed that someone mentioned that the reason for the delay in the album is because there weren’t enough pre-sales for a decent album debut. This is allowing more time for pre-sales. Some peeps were actually agreeing with this absurd (IMO) theory! Where, oh where, do they dream this stuff up???Question Teeth

    Adam doesn’t have anything going on until Sunday in Portland. (livestream!). I’ll bet Sauli will be up to visit him. Maybe he’s there now. And I think they’ll see The Hunger Games. Sauli mentioned on his blog that he was going on a trip next weekend (which is this weekend, I think). If I lived there I’d be on the lookout for a tall, skinny guy with a hat on with a short blonde guy with a hat on!

    On the sour note: I just got the latest Entertainment Weekly, and I have to say that there is no love lost between Adam and EW. Whenever they mention him, they manage to find the WORST picture of him (only because there is such a poor selection of pics, you know), they NEVER mention anything positive, but if they can find something negative – bum! – it’s there.
    Wonder what happened over past 3 years.

    What did they say this time, Oksana? I subscribe to EW and the last time they mentioned Adam it was positive. I haven’t received the lastest issue. He was listed among the “most anticipated” albums to be released. But, yes … they are usually very negative when it comes to Adam.

    Ron, EW was reviewing the latest singles by Idols, and BTIKM got scathing review, but sadly I have to agree with them.
    Adam got the lowest score (C) of all of Idols.
    I read everywhere that BTIKM is not like the other songs on the album, and for the n-th time I’m asking myself why RCA decided on this being his first single.
    I can visualize RCA dudes sitting around the table and saying “You know, “Rambo” was good , so we got “Rambo II”, “Rocky” was good , so we got “Rocky II”, “Terminator” was good, so we got “Terminator II”, and since WWFM was good, so why not make “WWFM 2.0″ and besides we have some deal with Claude Kelly/Dr.Luke…..”

    I love BTIKM, but I really LOVE the other songs we have heard. There is a disconnect with BTIKM to the others, so far anyway.

    I don’t understand why BTIKM was chosen as the first single either Oksana and I don’t understand EW and their disdain for Adam. I still have the issue where they put Adam on the cover with the words “Loving Adam Lambert”. I don’t know how EW can go from one extreme to the other especially since Adam has matured and grown and is so much better today as an artist than he was when that issue was published.

    I hope that the second single is “Cuckoo” for the very simple reason: It’s very easy to sing along to.
    Try it with “Trespassing”.
    We saw Adam performing “Cuckoo” at “Jezebel” party and he was great without any bells and whistles. “Trespassing” requires so much more to sound well.
    JMO, but it comes from the lady, who always picks books or movies that unwashed masses go for. I’m the perfect AVERAGE customer. Artsy stuff is not for me.

    Oksana…I must not have any rhythm because I found it hard to do the clapping along with Adam in Trespassing. Cuckoo to me is a great summer song and I can hear people shouting Cuckoo all over the place! Trespassing to me is very fierce, Cuckoo is fun and haughty (in a good way)!
