After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    can bring one guest and because tchrsd’s daughter is the winner, she (dd)
    and tchrsd will be going. Even if the winner’s 2nd could take a 3rd, Suz526
    would (and should) be the one to go. I’m hoping Suz and vito (camera) get to go
    somehow.

    jlurksacto Well I still am doing my “happy dance for tickets” for you. Don’t give up!!

    Also I want to put up one word CAUTION. I usually try to verify the info I bring over from twitter. So be cautious on the second single. I didn’t get as much verification as I was comfortable with.

    Now off to find “stuff”. I didn’t see anything yesterday at all about a second promo stop. I think Adam fans are few and far between in the western side of the midwest.

    I’m way behind on my reading, but this jumped out at me. As I’ve said before, this is my very favorite–EVER–Adam song. He sings it so tenderly. He really does like the presentation of “two sides of the whole” as this is what he did on A Loaded Smile and BTIKM. That was a little confusing with A Loaded Smile until I realized the duplicity of the comments/feelings from the vocalist. I never understood why some folks just hated the song.

    Now I’m on with my day and will try to catch up tonight. Have a good day everyone!!!!

    Oh, I also wanted to say that I like Tommy’s acoustic style better than Kevin’s—although I do like Kevin with the band. I think Tommy is a little more shy and what (?? looking for a word??) should try to hide his yawns or get a little more sleep, but I personally like his accompaniment better. I’m definitely not a musical professional, I just know what I like.

    Later, Adam played “Shady” for us – a track about going out and getting a little somethin’ somethin’ that he co-wrote with out pop performer Sam Sparro. It’s a dancy, upbeat track about nasty things – a contrast to some of the more stripped-down and somber songs on the album that are earnest discussions of love, communication (“Broken English”), and even navigating gay romance (“Outlaws of Love”). Adam took a moment between songs to pause and point out, “This is for us, it’s for our community.”

    But Adam’s primary goal on this night was clearly to get people moving, and he spent much of the evening cuing up tracks, hollering for “More bass!” and urging everyone to dance. From the sounds of what I heard, Mapril showers are going to bring plenty of dancefloor goodness for Adam’s fans.

    Every season on “American Idol,” there is always at least one finalist that stands out above the rest of the pack. In Season 1, it was Kelly Clarkson. In Season 4, Carrie Underwood. Season 5, Daughtry and Katharine McPhee. In Season 8, David Cook and David Archuleta. Season 9, Adam Lambert. Some win, some don’t. But the talent is obvious from the start.     I woke up this morning with the chorus of Cuckoo going round in my head….perhaps a sign that this one indeed should be the next single.

    Don’t know how much time I’ll get to post the next few days as we’re off to the HK Rugby 7’s, the biggest sporting event in the HK calendar, and the biggest 7’s event in the world. A very, very long weekend of rugby with dancing, fancy dress and people drinking copious amounts of alcohol from 7 in the morning……..till 6 the next morning!!!! (not me obviously)

    will try and peek in though.

    I really hope Haley will have a great performance tonight on idol. If her album is halfway good, I’ll buy it. She had to fight quite a bit to come in 3rd in her season behind the two Jesus-endorsed contestants, and I thought she did it with courage and flair. And of course I really like her singing.
