After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    Yup! and all songs are even better when downloaded and played on one’s own computer music player! – at least on my system. I use Winamp and the songs sound crisper (less compressed) than when played straight from Soundcloud.

    Well, sh**, I’ve listened about four times through, and, while I definitely liked “Cuckoo” and “Trespassing” most on first listen and didn’t much like “Never Close Our Eyes” at all, I now love them all equally. I guess my only concern about NCOE is that I hear Bruno’s influence in it so much that I keep thinking I hear his voice. I mean, it’s a really good song, but it doesn’t establish Adam as his own, unique flavor like the others do. I’m glad I don’t have to make that choice, that’s all I have to say!

    Winning these tickets, is a real rush.

    For the other west coasters, the only thing I’ve done different:

    1. Used 2 different phones.
    2. Started calling about 3 to 4 minutes before they announce the contest.

    Sometimes it is till busy, and others, you get a ring, & I just let it ring. If you loose it, just keep re-dialing.
    I was caller # 2, & # 3, at 6:00 am this morning.

    Using my home phone, and my cell phone must have worked. Phone Phone

    I got a kink in my neck, but it paid off later in the day.
    My lucky Adam day…finally! Clover

    I will take photo’s, and do a re-cap, of my experience.

    I just checked out my download. I have it in my iTunes and it plays ok. I use ICloud to transfer from there to my iPhone. It tells me that it’s not available for ICloud. 2morrow morning I will try to do a direct transfer. Can’t do it tonight. Medicine had me pretty sleepy. Sorry I couldn’t help you much. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.

    I don’t think I was much help but you might want to check out that first entry after your thank you to us by Bev W.. When I downloaded these they worked in ICloud and I was able to transfer these. Maybe some coding was changed. Good luck and drive safe.

    I haven’t voted on the poll yet as I can’t decide between Cuckoo and Trespassing. I love the clapping/foot stomping of Trespassing, but I love the chorus of cuckoo….mmmmm, decisions, decisions!
    I love the other 2 too. Hopefully we’ll get all 4 as singles, so its more trying to decide which order to have them in..
    I love the chart on which place prefers which song. Looking closely, it seems Scandanavia wants Naked Love.

I think the Durbin fans have reached a new level of being delusional about the accomplishments of their savior.     A Durbs fan posted a Durbs video, out of the blue, that Adam should do something along the line of that Durbin song, and people ran with it. The video is still on there but the comments after are gone. I gave up a long time ago listening to Durbins songs, they really made my ears hurt, if his fans love him, fine, if they hate Adams voice and songs fine, and believe me there are people on there that hate Adams songs and voice, whatever!!!!!1

As far as Tammy Baldwin – Wisconsin is my home state and I’m not surprised they elected an openly gay person. That state has a streak that would surprise most.     But his example as a reliable voice for being yourself is perhaps most important.

    ITA. She sure seems to have different levels of tolerance for different fan groups, doesn’t she? Like you, Miss Chaos, I love reading reactions/opinions from most of the people who post there – it’s very refreshing to hear what less opinionated (than us Smile ) think of music, situations, appearances, etc. But threatening to close down a mostly enjoyable thread just because one or two have entered, bringing links to James Durbin performances no less, is a bit much. Kick the guilty ones out and let the ones playing by the rules do what her freakin’ blog is for – discuss!

    Been doing a little housework and listening to the snippets like they’re a full-fledged CD! That said, I would love to know how TPTB choose the next single – everything I’ve heard so far is just so good. Played the snippets for my two teens: 18-yr old daughter liked NCOE best, 15-yr old son liked Trespassing. (29-yr old mom loves Cuckoo!)
