ulti..this is how i do it. When the video is playing I right click on the address (the http://www.etc with all the wacky letters &numbers) You’ll see “copy” when you right click. I right click on copy. Then I go to the right of my screen (it’s not a full screen), right click again and it will say “new”. I put the curser on top of the word “new” and another box will appear. In that box it says “new document”. I left click on that and a small box will appear at the side of the screen.
Then, I prepare to comment, right click in the comment box and a square will appear that says “paste”. I left click on “paste” and it shows in the comment box.
I’m positive there are other ways to do it, but I’ve been doing it this way forever & it works for me.

All you have to do is right click the address bar on the page you want to link and select copy come here and right click the comment box and select paste. HTH

Oh my goodness, he looked just glorious in the single pic – Ponchontheradio – so young and happy (and skinny). I’m beginning to think he’s actually enjoying this promo – he DOES like to talk – and he’s letting the audience ask questions – not rushing out if he doesn’t have to.
And think of all the people he’s met and mesmerized. All good.
This radio promo is more extensive than what he was able to do during the GNT, plus it includes the acoustic performances. Added bonus: Adam looks a lot more like AI Adam, you know, in those clips with the mentors and the background ones. Great to remind the “heartland” who he is for both old AI fans and up-to-date ones. I’m sure it’s tiring and the travel throws off his diet and sleep, but I bet he’s all for it because his eyes are on the prize. I wonder if he will keep Tommy all through, or bring Kevin back for a few – I really love Kevin’s accompaniment more although Tommy has improved.

I prefer Kevin, too, riskylady – doesn’t seem as bored (guess to some extent because it’s all new to him). Don’t think TJ should be yawning – doesn’t look good. Was never a huge fan, anyway. But he’s Adam’s pick – can’t argue with that.

I finally caught up with the OOL from Kidd Kraddick.
I have to be honest, I just didn’t like it from St Agathe. But the critics who have heard the recorded version raved, so I thought, OK, I’ll rest my judgement until the CD finally comes out.
I was wrong.
That Kidd Kraddick OOL is so beautiful, so achingly emotive, it brought a tear to my eye. I am yet again amazed by the sheer talent of this man.

The again, maybe Adam is using astrology, for his album release? I know it may sound crazy, but he is really into it, and the universal astrological influences.
Well, the last I heard from Amazon was that I was to expect the CD in the mail on March 20. I’ll let y’all know if it shows up in my mailbox tomorrow….
And, again, I really hate to talk this way, but, my job involves treating people with voice problems, and, several times, especially since the Jezebel concert, Adam’s speaking voice has sounded strained. Even a little like he could have been developing a nodule. Don’t kill me. I’m not trying to be a downer. But, he does sound strained when talking lately.
The speaking voice is different than the singing voice. However, when there is a problem in one, the other will eventually be affected. I like that he clutches his water bottle and sips frequently. But, if you listen, he clears his throat more and more these days when he’s ready to answer a question. Or when he’s done with his turn talking. That’s not a good sign. All this promo is a strain on his voice. And, my ear hears it. You can too, listen to how he drops his tone at the end of a sentence or end of a phrase, you can hear the hoarseness. I’ve heard it in his laugh at times, and in his “uh-huh’s”.
So, I’m glad to hear he turned down an offer to party so that he could rest his voice. That’s very mature of him. And I’m sure he has access to excellent vocal coaches and doctors, however, there is no cure like vocal rest.

I knew that you weren’t a real fan of OOL mils, but I’m so glad you came around.
The guitar at Ste Agathe and the crowd are a bit overpowering in those vids, but it was glorious live. You could hear the angst in his voice and I had tears at the second verse.
I can’t wait to hear the album version.
Didn’t he say in the Connecticut(?) interview that the release wasn’t up to him – he would have had it out “yesterday.” (I’ve heard so many interviews – goin’ nutso.)
Yup, nkd, I get it now. I just listened again. So gorgeous.
But, I could hear voice strain too. He just needed more “effort” to change pitch, it wasn’t as effortless a performance as usual. However, the effect is still amazing.
I can’t think of another singer who could even begin to sing this song.
Mils…I have always thought Adam sounded raspy when he talks. Even people I send his interviews to mention it. And I mean from the Idol days. Yet when he sings it’s as clear as a bell.
But like you said I noticed too he’s clearing his throat more often lately. I would hope he would cancel appearances if there was even a hint of a problem.

Adam was just beyond gorgeous in that KC vid…but mils, yes I did hear the difference, and I watched the vid before I read your post. These multiple promos each day have to take a toll…but I assume he will stop them at some point, surely he has already visited half the radio stations in the country! and then rest before the Queen gigs, and then again after before the tour, which I think we have to assume will probably not happen in 2012. He did a more rigorous schedule than this on GNL, a full set almost every night, plus international travel across BEAUCOUP time zones. I ain’t skeered for him….
Before I go to bed, everybody get ready to throw tomatoes at me ( I’m not worried, I’ll make them into juice, HA!):
I actually AM worried about the vocal strain that performing with Queen will cause our BB.
( catching tomatoes now).
He oversang so hard at the EMA’s, his voice sounded strained after the show, and that was just a couple of songs.
