WTH is TJ doing in Erie, PA? My oldest daughter just called from Erie (she lives there) and was telling me about the crazy goings-on. Hope TJ doesn’t fall in the Lake. (Erie has a large Polish population – sure they wouldn’t miss a chance to go to an Irish Bar – I’ve been to a few myself up there.)
The whole gang was up there during the GNT tour. Think there were vids of them out on the Lake. Saw of pic of Adam’s freckled arm, as I remember.

Continuing on the talk last night about how his tour might look. GN was in 3 parts. I think Trespassing will be one cohesive story…each song taking a step into the next “chapter” of maybe a day in the life of Adam. I really think it will be kinda like a play. I don’t think any singer on tour has done this. Most just sing each individual song & move on. I can not wait although we know it will be a while. Adam has theater and glam blood in him, & IMO it will translate to the tour stage!

Luval definitely can see your tour concept. Adam is still a theater person and I don’t think it goes away. I actually will look forward to that!

If my scenario turns out to be correct, I will be so happy! I think it will revolutionize the tour concept for singers and Adam will be lauded as the most innovative singer out there. But of course there will be the boo birds who hate it.

This made me so happy! No relationship can be its best if one of the partners is otherwise alone, separated from family. If one of Sauli’s sisters did move to LA, how wonderful would that be for him! and also for Adam, who clearly values family, and would have the joy of knowing that Sauli had family nearby.

luval – When I saw what Adam did with FYE on the tour, how he wove those songs together I was intrigued and it upped the entertained value for me. I think that’s how his brain is wired. Maybe for him you just sing songs for radio promotions, Idol and other one or two song events. I think we will always get the whole package when it’s totally his show. And yes once that snowball gets over the top of the hill he will be the standard to chase. After all he’s just starting. Katy P and Gaga have been out there awhile and I don’t see much moving forward or change (unless you count not talking to press). And Madonna’s half time show was just a repeat of the other two. Good thinking luval.

Please! I love this song. For me it’s the Soaked of this album so far. Love to listen to it in the dark. I hear his voice clearer and just get taken to other places!! Even though the song has a sad side it has a healing to it. IMHO

When is the Idol finale? Sometime late May? If Adam is to appear on the finale and sing a new song (not BTIKM), it makes sense to me that the album would come out in June. If no finale, I think it will come out in April or May.
Adam has said he wants to “milk” this album. I didn’t like his choice of words at that time but I see what he means. Keep us & the public waiting & wanting. Hope it doesn’t backfire.

I know we don’t know all the facts that go into getting an album made and into our hand. Especially going international at the same time. I think the record company must have a lot of faith in him to let this process happen like it is.

This is why Adam has such a strong fan base. He includes us in what is going on, how it works and the struggles he faces. Therefore it’s easy to feel a part of the process and give him support. He’s human to us (with a good deal of “god” thrown in).

Ha, I’m taking this to mean that Adam is hoping to get a lot of mileage from Trespassing. In other words, he is hoping for a number of singles being released as well as videos. Of course, a worldwide tour looks to be definitely in the picture. It seems that both Katy Perry (Teenage Dream) and Adele (21) also “milked” their albums — many singles that took up a lot of time. Fingers crossed over here that Adam gets his wish!

I have a question for a lazy Sunday afternoon. To preface the question, I will tell a short story to show you why I was thinking about this. Yesterday I drove my daughter back to school at Western Illinois U. It is located about 41/2 hours southwest of Chicago.On the way there my daughter plugged her phone into the radio and we listened to that on the way there. On the way home I was dependent on the radio. My choices were two classic rock, two or three oldie stations, a couple of country stations, and 2 christian music stations. My question is where are the top 40 or even hac stations? Is it because I was in farm country or are all open spaces devoid of top 40 music? Are the people in these areas just downloading from computers or have satellite connections. Just wondering as you guys have had long car trips lately.
apal123, you’re choices are better than mine once I get away from the cities. I usually plug my phone/ipod in and listen to my playlists, but in the rental car I didn’t have a plug so was left with the radio. Mostly country and Spanish stations for a while between Houston and Dallas. I think some smaller communities may have top 40 stations, but they are on smaller frequencies that don’t carry very far. Thus if you’re driving through you may miss it.
But congrats on at least getting a classic rock station!
I have to make that drive again tomorrow. Please pray for classic rock for me!

I live in Western South Dakota. Not farm country but certainly open spaces ranch country. We don’t have much for radio and on the stations that might play Adams music I can’t tolerate the DJ’s. My 12 year old grandson had more maturity. So I went the route of Sirius radio. And I also tap into stations from Seattle, Milwuakee, Chicago, etc. I change them up often.

rainbow, do you listen to 96.5 from Milwaukee, classic rock? Dave and Carole are still my favorite morning DJ’s. The Top 40 here is 97.3, and the morning DJ’s are just horses asses. The female, Connie, has a very irritating voice and she is immature and uncouth, and the guy, Curtis, is married and has kids, but is absolutely dumb as a box of rocks. They know nothing about anything that happened in the world more than 5 years ago.
Anyway, I do go between the two stations every day on my way to work. I listen to the classic station whenever they play Rihanna or Katy, or something too hip-hop and rapped. I simply cannot stand that kind of music. I listen to the Top 40 whenever the classic station is playing something I’ve heard 10,000 times in my life.
I have not heard BTIKM ever. I don’t think they’ve played it yet. But about a year ago they played WWFM at drive time and the irritating female said something like
” What do I want from you Adam Lambert, I want another hit song.” So, she likes Adam. But obviously has no control over airplay.
