After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    It’s so sad that people have to be like this. This is why I’m so careful where I put my $s and my effort. I want to support the positive wherever I can. So for me it’s Adam all the way.

    I have been reading through pages of comments, so I will try and put all of my various comments on one post.

    First of all, a big congrats to glamberthaf28 on winning the tickets to see Adam tomorrow in Chicago. I know that the first and only time you saw him was in St Agathe, and this summer you will be at Sonosphere (with me and a few hundred thousand others), so it seems that you are getting to see the best of the best.

    And congrats to everyone else who has seen him, or will see him, in these intimate settings, and singing acoustic versions of the songs, which are my favorite. I think I would melt and need to be scooped up in a spoon to be taken out of there.

    And thanks to everyone for your recaps, long or short. I can’t wait to read the next installment of your’s kradamour.

    I have been listening to the new music and I have to admit that they haven’t stuck in my head yet (except BTIKM which is in my head when I wake up every morning). The audio at Jezebel wasn’t great, so I couldn’t listen too many times. But I love Trespassing!!!!!!!I don’t know why I love it so much. I can’t sit still when I hear it, but I also think it is because it is so autobiographical, and he has so much swag and attitude. He is just saying this is ME, I am here, and I am staying! And he also does wicked badass things with his voice.This is the London version which is really good, but I also loved the one from Boston, especially the ending, where he and Tommy just kept jamming and couldn’t stop. The problem is that it is on two different videos and the one for downloading has the beginning cut off. Does anyone know how to combine the vids to make one complete song?

    And one more thing. About Kris. There was a lot of mutual love just after Idol. His first comment when the winner was announced was that Adam should have won. But afterwards he seemed to have to justify his win to everyone who was saying that Adam was expected to win. I do agree, though, that he should be reciprocating the praise that Adam is throwing his way. But then few people are as gracious and giving as our BB.

    Not shallow at all, FU I say to you Kris Allen!~ It was an unnecessary tweet, and almost a dis at Adam. I could not stand his screeching, dont care if he wins or not. For me for you, not entertaining. Now Philip, Colton, in the Lambert outfit, lol, and DeAndre are entertaining. Some one on MJs said she wants her daughter to see DeAndre because he is going to be famous some day, I will go along with that. He has a great voice, just needs help with song choices, and figuring out how to sing them,. Hes young, 17 and could really use our boy Adams help, lol.

    qaffangyrl One of my students is doing an intenrship at Q100 in Atlanta and she told me that everyone at the studio was impressed with Adam’s visit. They couldn’t stop talking about how polite and humble he was. and also “how normal he seemed in comparison to when he came there just after idol.” ( I am assuming she was referring to “normal” wardrobe and no eye makeup idk).

    Also as we’ve seen on twitter a couple of the top executives from Cumulus were there. According to my student this was a surprise to EVERYONE at the station. Not even the “big boss” at the station new the execs were coming to town to watch Adam’s interview and performance. (this was the in studio performance and the interview with the two lady djs. this wasn’t the one of the fan events that happened in atlanta.)

    My student said that the execs seemed to really respond well to Adam. (hopefully we’ll get more spins/adds on cumulus stations soon!)

    Texas – I usually agree with you but I don’t understand why you dislike Kris Allen so much. He was very supportive of Adam throughout Idol and the tour and AMA’s, etc. I believe that he listened to Adam’s first album and told him that he thought WWFM would be a big hit. I have been impressed with Joshua Ledet and I don’t see anything wrong with Kris’s comment, although to be pc he should have said one of the best singers. I can understand not liking some of his fans but not him. And didn’t Adam and Kris get together a few months ago at Disneyland (if my memory serves me correctly). So I like Kris, even though I’ll probably never buy his music or see him in concert. Just MHO!

    I agree…not shallow at all. I say “give me a break” as to who is the best singer ever (even forgetting that I am a big fan of Adam) and it really saddens me to see what kind of friend Kris really is. Seemed like a nice kid; I actually liked him but this is disappointing

    ITA! In my opinion, this tweet was totally insensitive and ignorant on the part of Kris Allen. Not only was it a diss to Adam, but also to every other contestant who ever stood on that Idol stage. I’ll bet he receives some flack for that not so smart remark.

    Are any of the teachers here familiar with Ted-Ed – world-class teachers coming together with great animators to create animated videos to provoke kids’ curiosity. Think it’s aimed basically to high-schoolers – have to go back and look. But it’s a great website – has great stuff now and in April it’s launching more. Have forwarded it to my daughter who homeschools.

    Kris has been known in the past to send out thoughtless tweets and then to pay the price for them later. Why on earth would he want to annoy the Glamberts? The fights were between the fans and never between Kris and Adam themselves.

    I think Kris just said that in the heat of the moment. When JLo said it was the best performance she’d seen on idol, I was like “Whaaat?” and then I realized she has only witnessed the past 2 years herself, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. Obviously she never watched S8. Don’t think Kris thinks too deeply ever, much less before he tweets as we well know. Adam is way beyond him now and that’s who our main focus should be.     sparkle, my post was part truth and part “tongue in cheek”, lol. I don’t dislike Kris; as a musician, he just doesn’t separate himself from the rest of the pack, IMO. That’s precisely why I love Adam – he’s not afraid to be campy, dramatic, silly, drop the f-bomb, not to mention live an honest lifestyle. I just feel like Kris has missed several opportunities to acknowledge Adam and his music, much like Adam does for other artists. In fact, just a week or so ago, the subject of Kris came up during one of Adam’s radio promos and Adam was quick to say that Kris’ new single was great, etc. IIRC, Kris tweeted a thank-you, but no mention of Adam’s new single – again, a missed opportunity and something that I think most people would do. Hope I didn’t offend you, though. IDK That’s the beauty of this site, the “Great OZ” doesn’t appear out of the blue, accuse you of butthurt and then ban you! Smile

    It doesn’t bother me what Kris tweeted, because it’s his opinion and musical taste is very suggestive. I personally didn’t like Joshua’s performance and his chances of being the American Idol is slim to none. It’s going to be another WGWG.

    I don’t think Adam and Kris talk anymore because if I remember correctly, Adam said in a interview that the last time he saw Kris was at last years Idol finale. Adam has his own close personal friends and I think he just don’t have enough time or desire to keep up with what’s going on with the other Idols from his season. I do think that Kris has distanced himself from Adam, because I think he has gotten tired of the comparisons and his interviews sometimes being taken up with questions about Adam and winning over him in the finale. In the end, it’s not that big of a deal because both of these guys have their own lives and careers that keep them both very busy.
