After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    Wow, so many goodies to come home to today! It looks as though Boston scored big time with both Fever and Trespassing!! I knew I should have tried for those tix. For a while, gaining access to those DC tix seemed sort of bleak. My son lives in Boston, so I began to think that this might be a nice time for a little visit. Wink

    I think Tommy did great today.

    I totally agree with this.
    Personality wise, I don’t always see Tommy as being comfortable in the limelight. There is no doubt in my mind that the guy is an awesome guitar player. At times, he seems very reserved and almost uncomfortable with the chatting portion of this radio tour. On the other hand, Kevin seems much more comfortable and natural with all of the hullabaloo that goes along with these appearances. JMHO

    I think Tommy is good but Kevin “pulled it back” more when Adam was singing. To me, the guitar is just a little too loud especially with BTIKM.

    I’d love to hear the homemade bow tie interview too!

    @Kiss108: Tickets for #KC12 go on sale in 5 minutes! (This is the May concert. For those not familiar it’s a 10 hour show that once you go in you have to stay. That is my understanding.)

    Did anyone see the front of the crowd from today, when Adam asked them to move back, and you see some of them, I am wondering if they are the SPG’s! Poor Adam! If I was there I sure would hid so he didnt have to see me!

    After hearing 5 song of Trespassing, I think Adam should do his nexts concerts near a HUGE E.R!!! Doctor Holy LORD!! We gonna be from craying our eyes out Cry , so dehydration cz Outloves of Love, to 150 BPM cz Trespassing to dislocated hips cz Cuckoo and reaping our clothes off Devil (so getting cold)cz Chokehold.How could anyboby choose which was the single!??     One of the things I am loving most is the fact that at every stop, Adam is asked about his fans, and his response is always so…resigned! We are what we are, and he has come to accept us, but also is starting to treat us with a little more comfort and less of the deference that he exhibited in the beginning…telling the front row to move back, he needed some air, in such a comfortable way, like he was talking to a kid sisster (so ironic, given that we are all 29…wait,he is 30! We are the kid sisters – and brothers!)…and today when he just said to the audience “you know that jacket that I wore…”, KNOWING that the audience would know exactly what he was talking about, was so funny!

    Part Two: the Fab Four are in line TO SEE ADAM!!!

    By the way, did I mention that dcglam lies about her age? At lunch/dinner/whatever, she claimed to be old enough to have a 33 year old daughter, and that daughter was not born when dcglam was fresh out of college, either. I am totally not buying it. (eye roll) (Wait, can we roll our eyes at each other? Is that fair? When we already get so much eye-rolling from others? I take it back!)

    So…we are in line. About a dozen-ish peeps ahead of us, probably a bit more. Everyone very nice, very relaxed, nicely diverse as to ages/stages. The weather is wonderful, neither hot nor cool, we are well fed, and happy to wait. Radio peeps come along and take pictures, talk to us…they are obviously very taken by Adam! He charmed them (surprise! Not!) and they genuinely seem to want to talk to us and ask us about our berting…have we been to his concerts, are we excited about his new album, the usual questions but asked with animation and excitement of their own! This makes my heart glad. (At other venues on the tour, often the doorkeepers were uninterested and even a bit condescending sometimes.)
    At one point a radio peep took a really nice picture of the Fab Four (that would be us), but it is not on the site. It would be nice to have a copy.
    So everyone is very patient, chatting, happy. Radio peeps come along with a big envelope and give each of us a very nice lanyard with a pic of Adam on it, the one with the blue jacket and the swept-away hair, I flove that picture and WOOT for having it on the lanyard! The cranky glambert (that would be me) sees a small imperfection in her lanyard and decides to ask for a replacement. Radio peeps are smiling and happy to make the switch, they totally understand, or pretend to.
    Plus we each receive a Hamilton venue wrist wrap…they aren’t taking any chances on peeps sneaking in!
    Speaking of which, there is a small contingent of peeps WITHOUT LANYARDS hovering at the door AHEAD OF US…hmmm…what f*ckery is this? Are they going to rush in? Inside the doors, there is a bouncer sort of peep at the top of the steps that go down to the venue. Arms crossed on chest. If the sketchy peeps rush in and try to dodge him, this could be interesting! But they look like they are 29, so that won’t likely happen. Sigh.
    But we keep a wary eye on them so that we don’t get pushed back farther in line! We are feeling territorial! And at this point, we are seeing very, very nice near-the-front places in our immediate future!
    Ooh, more bread and circuses…94.7 ball point pens being passed out! Yes, please.
    Radio peeps are accumulating…quite a few of them, all chatting and looking excited themselves. One of them tells us that we are running a little late because Adam is still doing soundcheck. Well, of course, we are not surprised at all. But I am surprised that for even this little mini-concert, likely only 2 songs, Adam is still particular about the sound to the extent of an extended sound check. Boy could easily be a virgo like adamized and me. We will claim him as one of our own, in this context.
    We are trying to decide what it will mean, that this is the final of three promos today. He was off yesterday, did some sightseeing, and tomorrow he has nothing in Hartford until later in the day. Perhaps he will stay overnight again in DC, and fly up tomorrow. In which case he might hang with us longer, do another song, be pretty loose from the exhaustion…or he could be a little bit tired and cranky in spite of himself. Nah, we are thinking that unlikely.
    Oh oh oh oh oh they are letting peeps in! But only a few…wtf? Oh, they are letting us in in smaller groups! This is so well-managed! No chaos, and we will actually have a few seconds to think out our choice of seats without being victims of those who move fast and decisively! WE go in, the bouncer-type is almost smiling, we are feeling welcome and excited and a little bit apprehensive just because we have such high expectations, we have wanted this so badly, and now here we are and it will happen in a few seconds and we all know that it will be over before we are ready for that. Breathe! In the moment! Zen!
    So we go down the stairs and into the venue…ooh la la! A gorgeous club! Dark, intimate, little tables of six…and each table row raised on a little dais, so you can easily see above the peeps ahead of you…I find a place DEAD CENTER AND ONE TABLE BACK, raised just enough to be just below Adam’s eye level on his stage, with my seat right at the railing, like the front row of a close-in balcony, perhaps 15, no more than 20 feet from the stage…dcglam is right across from me, and I catch her eye and we beam at each other! Adamized decides to sit at the first row table, just below us, and only one person is between her and Adam. Darlin’ is at the table with dcglam and me, and we keep saying we can’t believe how close we are, and that we will never be this close again! Alas, probably true, but omg tonight is going to be wonderful…

    Love the soundbite from German radio. That voice, the sincerity, the warmth…disembodied…can’t help but think how wonderful that voice would be to listen to as I fall asleep next to the person speaking…could float in that voice forever…
