After a very busy and promo-filled month of February (during which Adam also took time out to attend the Elton John pre-Oscar party pictured above), March figures to be busy as well for Adam and his fans, as he should continue promo efforts for the lead single “Better Than I know Myself” and his upcoming album “Trespassing”. Adam may take some time to put last minute touches on some of the late addition album tracks as well. The album release date, which was previously set for March 20th, has been pushed back to an undetermined time later this spring. I’m guessing sometime in April or early May, but we will see.

Update – on March 23rd, Adam confirmed that the release date for Trespassing will be May 15th!

    Kradamour– you mentioned that you would hold off watching the vids until you knew how Adam felt about them. I wondered about that too, but it’s very obvious that he knew that his performance was being recorded, because cameras are being held up in the air right up front, and at different points, he plays right to the cameras. So it was not at all secretive and he had to know that it would end up on youtube. Smile

    All right, haven’t left yet. I’ve been in touch with my old friend who bought my extra ticket for the Rockford show. I refer to her as my “lovely ticket buyer”, anyway, she came up to town last year for the Adam BDay party we went to , and have been in touch many times since. She is so sweet and is yet another testimonial to how being a fan of Adam has helped us meet new people and make new friends.

    Long story short, she has signed up for Chicago too. She says Chicago Glamberts are a strong force. Crap. We really want to go/win. You can only register once. It’ll be tough working with all my whatsis crossed, but, if it has to be done…

    Anyway, let’s all invite her out of lurking shall we?

    Wow I am loving these performances- Adam obviously knows he’s being recorded and wants these performances out there- testing the waters with the new songs so to speak.

    It will be interesting to see how these songs evolve by the time the tour rolls around.

    My life these days revolves around multiple alarms and radios so I don’t miss a call-in for free tix to the radio show. So far I’ve been caller #8 and caller #23 ( trying for caller #25) ouch!!!!!!

    Still waiting for a stairs-worthy song to show up!!

    Hi guys, just woke up, was so out of it last night after ten night shifts in a row. What an exciting night!

    I won’t do a separate thread for every radio event as that would get too confusing with the chat scattered all over the place, but since this was the first time we have gotten videos of these new songs I thought it was worthy of its own thread. Lets try to keep the main ongoing general chat here in the March thread, and use the other thread (if you wish) for comments specifically related to that performance.

    Interesting to consider – once we get into the next tour I’d think we will probably just jump from one concert thread to the next like we used to do on MJs during the GNT. I’ll keep a separate members-only thread open for future concert planning, but during the tour we may not need the monthly threads. What do you guys think?

    So excited for all the events last night. I was a good 29 year old and went to bed and didn’t have time to watch yet this morning.

    I LOVE the new songs. Such great beats, the drums were too loud so can’t wait for studio version. Actually can’t wait for all the intricacies and nuances of all the live versions. Loved his dancing, he looked so happy, and was singing right into one of the cameras so he was sitting back waiting to see things posted last night. I bet he laughs his ass off at us sometimes, just like we laugh at ourselves. LOL

    Oh and someone said tight pants, did anyone else notice how baggy they were in the seat when he turned around, the boy is losing his ass along with his hips. Hmm guess that will just make other attributes, more prominent. LOL

    Good Morning everyone. I’ve just been lurking over the past few days. WOW!!! So much going on in our Adam World.

    First, Happy Birthday to asif. Hope you will enjoy a wonderful day.

    Also, congratulations to adamized, kradamour, and dcglam on your ticket/pass wins. I’m so EXCITED for all of you. I’m keeping everything crossed for any others who are hoping to win passes.

    eywflyer, everything looks good on your Site Navigation Guide. I only have one question (to which I maybe should already know the answer). What would the Special Chat Thread cover?

    Now, to move to the new music posted over the last day or so…
    I really love Chokehold. It has the sound similar to some of Adam’s favorite makeout songs. With the name Chokehold, it will probably be a controversial song/title, especially since it is Adam.

    I like Cuckoo a lot, but I’m a little confused by the intro. It sounds very, very similar to a song by Cameo called “Word Up”, and I wonder if he was sampling that song. It also reminds me a lot of Sheena Easton’s song called “Strut”. Is that the “Strut” that someone mentioned back upthread? It definitely has a throwback feel to me. I like it.

    Adam looks so fresh and happy. I’m sure he is happy to get to give us his new music. I’m so excited for the next few weeks to be here with you all getting to know Adam’s new music.

    ETA: Changed the artist for Word Up from Gap Band to Cameo. Something bothered me about my post, then I realized I had the wrong artist posted for that song. My OCD self had to come back on and fix it. lol

But you got the best present possible (short of the album release), TWO NEW UNHEARD SONGS!!!!!!!!!!, another listen to Trespassing, which is my favorite so far, and that beautiful release of the London showcase video of OOL.

    Thanks to all for the congratulations! Not only do we get to see Adam in DC, but we get to meet each other! I have never met dcglam or ultimathule but we have exchanged a message or two on the fansite (and of course cher was able to connect us with emails for this event lol). VERY excited about Monday and wondering if we might hear one of these new songs live (be still my beating Heart … my only concern is that there are FOUR Adam events in DC on Monday and ours is the last one…boy could be exhausted. Frown We will have to be an extra good audience to energize him!

    (There are a LOT of words in that song Trespassing…maybe Adam will have an easier time remembering words that he wrote!)

    Cuckoo I liked immediately from that 55sec clip last night. It’s such a sexy song…of course it’s the sexy singer too! The more I hear Chokehold the more I love it. Have only listened to Trespassing a couple of times. Got to do more.

    I’m a little behind on my stanning, hoping to catch up on Monday in DC…!
    Bought my Breville juicer last night, very impressed, it is substantial, got awesome reviews, not too big, and the right price. ($100 at Best Buy) I am guessing Adam got the larger one, this is a compact model, looks very nice on my counter.
    Almost time to juice…I’m actually getting excited about it!

    Are we going to be going back and forth to the other thread, or is that one pretty much over now, except if someone is going to post something new about those songs or new vids? loved the ones that nekkid posted, btw, there was a little bit of intro to each one, I love when Adam talks…
