luval, dcglam, in that video, I distinctly heard Adam say “I feel a lot of the support” when asked how it feels to have fans like this around the world. I don’t think he would ever say it’s a lot of work lolol. I listened several times to make sure….j/s

I love how Adam’s mag cover and album cover are fotoshopped and that’s a bad thing, but Carrie’s album cover is so much so that she’s almost unrecognizable, but it’s a GOOD thing because she looks GOOD.
Both of them are beautiful, so the stylizing or fotoshopping is obviously unnecessary, but done to make an artistic point.
It’s the double standard for everything that blows me away.
Wow, this is shocking, to me anyway. Freddie Mercury acapella! Made me reflect a lot more about the differences between Adam and Freddie. It was posted by the Queen fan site on Twitter. Quite an eye-opener, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say in Adam’s favor, as a singer. Still, love Freddie’s styling.

I too like some other Idols, I have music from Carrie, Kelly, Crystal, and am waiting patiently for some Haley music. All girls except for Adam, lol. Haven’t been interested in any of the rest enough to buy music from them. To me it is about the voice and I think they all have great voices. Of course they all 4 pale in comparison to Adam. He is just the total package, and I do mean package

I have to agree with you. And that’s what I like about Adam coming right out and saying that he wasn’t trying to replace or mimic Freddie. They both have enormous talent. But each does have their own unique style. All the better for us Queen and Adam fans. It’s never dull or boring.

risky: Thank you so much for that Freddie song you posted. I never heard that before. I have listened to it several times now. I have to say , I have always loved Freddie. More than I have ever said out loud. Maybe my being a fan of his is what in part, made me such an instant fan of Adam’s.
I can say that I do believe that even though Adam has always been a fan of Queen and Freddie, I do think he studied this version of Show Must Go On. Both Adam and Freddie’s voices are spot on perfect. The phrasing, the vibrato.
And, I’m loving to hear Meatloaf, who is an unbelievable vocal powerhouse himself, praise Adam so much.
And, about MJ. I still scan some threads almost everyday. If I post, it’s only in a positive manner. I do get really sick of the negativity. But, I didn’t see any in today’s Adam thread. I think she makes threads for him so that fans have a place to post. In all honesty, when Adam news is in a news thread, Adam does tend to hog the thread. So, MJ is smart to just give him his own threads.
What makes me laugh is the comments like, “Adam would go to the opening of a door”, or,” when he farts it’s news.” Jealous much?
Give me a break, tee-hee, I’m sure that if Adam ever had such bad manners and actually farted in public, somebody would try to catch it in a bottle!! Probably smells like blueberries anyways!

@jojosieThe only reason that headline thread got so many posts was because of what James said about Colton…Adam’s names got brought up in that conversation too. Some comments was “well look what Adam said about James”.
I believe the only reason Adam got that thread today is becasuse Kris Allen was mentioned…MJ has not beenposying any other of Adam’s recent radio promo and he has has some really good ones…I don’t think she put it up because of the love she has for Adam, that’s for sure….
And the whole Carrie photoshopping thing is totally fine, but again not when it comes to Adam.

turquoisewaters I too was thinking the same thing as you about that Kris Allen tweet. I guess the ‘bromance’ between the 2 is well and truly over. In the beginning when Adam was asked how he felt not winning he always used to gush over Kris, but hasn’t for a long time. Now when occassionally that question still comes up, he doesn’t mention him, just says he feels like he won. And a couple of interviewers recently asked him who he still sees from Idol, and the only one he mentions is Alison.
I thought of a question today that I’ve never seen the answer too. I’ve always wondered how he felt when he was watching Katy Perry perform on Idol and he first saw his name emblazoned on her cape for all the world to see, and whether he knew she was going to do that.
Re the charity water. I know the goal was less this year, but I thought the real aim was for fans to give up their birthdays for charity water, so I presume that means their own charity water page. I wonder how many have done that?
Wasn’t that impressed with Kidd Kraddick, thought he looked wasted. Adam handled himself with class as usual, loved the singing…
Hi HK fan. I remember the day or two after the Katy Perry cape thing that Adam said he didn’t know she was going to do it. But I never read if he said how he felt when it happened. Probably embarrassed. I don’t think he knew her at that time.
That Kris tweet is interesting. Yes, the polite thing would have been to say something about Adam’s song. Oh well, you can’t be friends with everyone forever. Idol is over and done with. Or maybe Adam knows if he brings up Kris’s name he’ll keep the interviewers asking about his career vs Kris’s. Better not to talk about him. I think he still follows Kris but not sure.
eta: I’ll say it again. Glitter may be dead for Adam but crystal embellishing & silver painted pants is alive and well (Vail). Maybe not glitter but he will always throw in a bit of shiny here and there.

Good morning, dcglam and everyone! Yes, I absolutely remember those Houston fans! The lady who is with Adam made him a beautiful piece of silver jewelry – she took the soundwaves from BTIKM and made a silver pendant for him – even stamped the back with the name of the song and his name (said she put “you!” in parentheses!). She was so emotional and thrilled with her conversation with Adam – and he was very happy to receive her amazing gift. She had on a pendant she made with the soundwaves from WWFM – really cool. I have her website info if anyone’s interested!
