Oksana2000, I took your statement about some Adam’s fans being overenthusiastic as you saying that is a bad thing and part of what is causing the problems?
I don’t see anything wrong with being overenthisiastic about your idol actually as it is not a crime. That is what fans do and it is not exclusive to only A’s fans.
The ones dedicating their time obsessing over every Adam’s stat by posting them, and always coming to bait in his threads are the trouble makers to me, who cause all the fan wars.
And I still do not agree MJ mods unpartially. Yes!, we almost all know she banned Yeahright, but that was just one as against 10s of so called glamberts she bans everyday, just sayin…
And having an opinion is different from falsifying facts and spinnings that Elliegrl and co do virtually everyday on A’s threads with the backing of MJs. How she never lets facts counteracting such ugliness stay, but deletes them and lets theirs (Elliegrl’s and co) stay is the definition of her modding sucking big time to me.
eywflyer, the song peak should be higher than 59 now. About 7 songs either went recurrent or were purged on Sunday, hence why the likes of ‘Fuck u beta’ and co moved up to TOP 50.
A quick glance at the TOP 50 chart would reveal this to you.
And by the way, do you know why those d*m*b PDs are not adding him? The guy has been working so hard touring their stations for God sake!

He looked great! No makeup, so natural, so beautiful, and very funny and sweet!
I called him darlin’ in my best Texas accent! Why did that come out of my mouth?!?!!
We didn’t get to get him to sign anything, or ask any questions, so all that worry for nothing, but every bit of over preparation was worth it.
After we took our picture, Texas, Adam and me, I did ask him to get Queen to perform in the US. He told me that it’s not up to him, so I said to suggest it! I felt like such a dork afterwards!
nkd, I think it was a perfect thing to say to him! Gotta sow the seeds. Man, how exciting it must’ve been! And to hear him sing acoustically in such a setting… can’t even imagine!

I tried calling in for the DC tix at the 4:25 advertised time for HOT 99.5. Of course, my call went unanswered. However, a lucky girl by the name of Diana won the tix. Evidently, she seemed less than enthused about her good fortune. Toby called her out about it ON AIR — said that the callers who called in last week for (didn’t catch the artist’s name) were SO excited for those tickets. “Why aren’t you excited about seeing Adam Lambert, Diana?” Yeah, he said that on air!!!
Hey Toby…. Why didn’t you answer my call? I would have given you REAL ENTHUSIASM!!!
By the way, did any of you other DC friends happen to hear all of that? Consider yourself fortunate if you did not.
I called Khmx96.5 here in Houston today and told the dj that I heard Adam this morning on their station & loved his new single and could she please play it on her show and she told me that the PD said that they could only play it at night. I asked her why since he had a ton of fans here in Houston and she said she didn’t know! Another dj told me the same thing. I call in at least a couple of times a wee requesting his song as well as filling out the online request forms every day and it seems to no avail!!! One dj had the nerve to tell me that there have not been that many requests for the song & I told him that if they played it more then more people would hear it and request it. People can’t request something that they have not heard!! Yet another said that
there have been a ton! Go figure. I asked one, what had to
be done to get the song played during the day. They apparently don’t know!!
So what did he smell like?
Adam Moment for me: I have not yet heard BTIKM on the local radio station, but today in Target the chorus of BTIKM was played THREE TIMES on the overhead during some kind of commercial breaks. Unfortunately I couldn’t make out what was being said, altho I thought I heard “March 20”. (in which case their info is wrong). It was, nevertheless, a thrill to finally hear it played in public!

He is so incredibly sweet. I think that cuddly feel is what I will take away from this.
He does seem much more open and comfortable with the fans and with himself, and it shows.

Well, after my “Toby” incident on HOT 99.5, I decided to turn on 94.7 FRESH FM.
I heard the DJ mention Adam Lambert, so I quickly ran to my phone. LOL! The very sweet DJ answered my call, asked for my name, and proceeded to chat with me for a few minutes. It turns out that I was 8 minutes too early with my call. I laughed and told him that I ran to the phone the minute I heard Adam’s name on air. He was very cute and said that most Glamberts do react that way to the mention of his name.

Interesting info about Tommy….
Tommy McFly used to be a DJ over at DC’s MIX 107.3. As a matter of fact, Tommy was Adam’s contact person and host when he did his radio promo for FYE in DC a couple of years ago. I remember reading an article about this in the Washington Post. Tommy is now with 94.7 FRESH FM and, once again, totally involved with Adam’s appearance on Monday. The guy is a Glambert!
What I think about is this sweet fresh faced young man compared to the fierce guy we saw on the Glam Nation stage. How can this possibly be the same person? He is amazing…flipping a switch he can go from Fever and Sleepwalker to a gentle, quiet soul when singing OOL or BTIKM.
I’m almost glad I’m not in a city that has these call-in contests to win tickets. I’d be so upset to be so close yet so far. There has to be another way! Why can’t these radio stations be more creative?

I wasn’t going to comment on MJ’s again but changed my mind. I’m a big fan of hers. She has a tough job and does it better than anyone else on the net. It isn’t a fan site for anyone, even when a thread is about a particular person. Some of the threads I’ve heard complaints about were Headline threads that Adam fans took over as there was Adam news mentioned. He has a thread up now that is his and I scanned it and didn’t see any negativity. So sometimes there are 200 favorable post and a half a dozen zingers, big deal, I can live with that. Speaking of negativity, James is the one that really has the haters. Headlines on 3/3 ran 325 post and most were about James. MJ’s post had the most likes and mine was second with 20 speaking out for reason. I know James isn’nt Adam, but I don’t think he’s trying to be and he certainly isn’t hurting him anyway. I no longer visit Home Planet. Her post about Adam are fun, but she can become rather a bully about James. I really don’t appreciate mean spirited humor. I guess I grew up in an nicer era. It may sound like I’m a James fan, I think he has some good songs on his CD and I’m supportive of folks that are different and trying to succeed in this world. I’ve watched Idol all seasons, been with MJ since she started in season five and am still interested in checking in on other Idol not just Adam and MJ’s is the best place to do that. For Adam love I can go here and several of his fan sites. P.S. I am really really am an Adam fan. Rant over.

Why the hell does another Adam thread have to be ruined with Kris comments, big stinking deal, Adam mentioned Kris’s stupid record, I could care less. So a lot of the thread was about they dont care about Adam, just that he mentioned Kris’s single. Ug Double Ug So tired of it. No Idol Including Kris mentioned Adams single that I have read. I am sorry Adam even mentioned Kris in that interview.

I would only do it to be able to sell the ticket if I should win. I would not go. But no I didn’t. They also have a contest for Daughtry tickets, but I think that one is a regular concert, not a promo.
But I’m a one Idol type person. I’ve had favorites (like Casey James and Scotty McCreary) but Adam has my heart. I wake up thinking about him, go to bed thinking about him, and have dreamt about him. I’m glad I wear a full mask CPAP at night so I don’t talk (or moan) in my sleep. Wouldn’t want my bed partner hear something he shouldn’t! Ah Adam! Thanks for the fantasies. I’m too old to behave this way.
