Btw, someone pointed out that Maroon 5 was at the Philly Jingle Ball with Adam back in December. Sorry, but no way in hell that he doesn’t know who Adam is. Both are also on the Grammy CD. But, it’s all good for OUR Adam LOL, trending, selling, being his classy self!
Levine didn’t say he didn’t know who Adam Lambert is. Not everyone stands on the side of the stage listening to other performers. Maybe they got there later on. Who knows. Or maybe Levine is aggravated at so many assuming that “Adam from The Voice” can only be Adam Lambert or that “Adam dueting with Xtina” can only be Adam Lambert.

How could I have missed all the excitement last night on The Voice and Twitter! When I watched Nakia’s performance and the coaches’ comments on YT this morning, I wondered if Levine was joking, but his tweet, which Ron quotes above, clearly indicates he doensn’t know WWFM. Amazing. Even more so that both his and Adam’s songs are on the Grammy CD.
oh well, he knows who Adam is now and so do all Maroon 5 fans. All’s good, as AFL would say.

All Levine had to do was to begin this Tweet with: “With all due respect to Adam Lambert, …” This would have helped to smooth things over in a big way. But I guess being courteous isn’t part of his personality.

The funny thing is, he tried so hard to cushion himself against fan anger by saying over-and-over again, when he made his team cuts, that he was not the kind of person to cut someone. Then 20 minutes later…
Last night he basically dissed the singer and today he dissed Pink’s song-writing skills.
Luckily, an ounce of Cee Lo’s approval is worth a ton of Levine’s negativity. Maybe Nakia will win it due to Glambert voting block.

Do we know why Nakia did not want to sing WWFM?
I noticed that Cee-Lo picked new relevant songs for his two contestant, the rest pulled out old (somewhat tired) songs again.
I really like Adam Levine and respect him, but my respect went down a few notches, because he said the original was probably falling flat. I just can’t help that feeling, because I so love Adam’s WWFM. Levine being a voting member for the Grammies, can he really be that ignorant and not know that song?

Ouch! Got myself in moderation at MJs for referring to an especially nasty sparklecow comment and saying essentially that the Adam haters seem to be more rude than the Adam fans. Although I am myself rather underweight and plain, I find the term sparklecow very offensive. Why can I not defend myself/ my fellow fans? Hi, Ron! I remember you know the feeling.

Speaking of another site, I now check in from time to time at TVline.com because I’ve always been a big fan of Michael Slezak. He blogs there instead of where he used to be located at Entertainment Weekly.
I was just curious if Slezak mentioned anything about The Voice and Levine’s comment. He didn’t. I should know better than to read the comments that follow but I did start going through them. They were harmless though and, in some cases, quite interesting. Interesting until I came to Tim’s comment.
I’m immune to anti-Adam comments that claim he has no talent, he can’t sing, all he does is scream and, my personal favorite, he makes my ears bleed.
They don’t bother me because they’re patently ridiculous.
What does get me riled though is when false statements are posted as being fact and disparage upon Adam’s person, character, or integrity.
I never reply to these kinds of things but I guess I couldn’t help myself today.
I thought I’d be severely attacked but instead, I have two people who responded and backed me up!
