Welcome to our first monthly chat!   This thread is for general chat, planning get togethers for  St. Agathe en Feux Festival, linking pictures, sharing tweets, etc.  Please read our Guidelines before posting or if you are unsure of your post.  We are off to a good start and let’s all do our best to keep this site warm and welcoming to  all Adam fans!

    Hi,I’m a newbie and a wee hour person Smile. Anyone around? It’s only 2am,LOL. Ron introduced me to this site, he’s been telling me what wonderful and friendly Glamberts I can meet here, YAY!! @eywflyer, thanks for creating this site. I know Ron, TLKC and AKE, so looking forward to getting to know everyone else Smile , and so happy to be meeting those who are going to Ste-Agathe Smile

    Good Morning, Kradamour

    Thank you for your typically warm manner and very thoughtful welcome to milkywayfairy! She is a devoted Adam fan who has been to several GNT’s. Fairly recently, I mentioned a friend of mine who votes online for Adam whenever he is nominated for an award or is part of a contest. I’m convinced this friend all but single-handedly secured Adam’s win last year at the MuchMusic Awards. Smile That friend is milkywayfairy. She will be in Ste.-Agathe on July 28th.

    I have two other friends who registered for this site yesterday and said they will post this evening. I hope there will be a number of people online tonight to welcome and get to know them. Both are close friends with milkywayfairy and TLKC. When they have their occasional get-together’s they sometimes even invite me. Smile All of us will be in Ste-Agathe.

    Damn. Just watched that improved version of WLL…okay, Mils, now I get it. Hadn’t watched the Milwaukee vids before. Even the original vid is almost too hot for this poor little computer screen to handle, and the improved version is really putting this monitor to the test! I don’t always enjoy WLL but I think I might have to watch this one a couple more times hundred more times… Rolls Eyes

Yes,I’m going to Ste-Agathe,will be at the Glamberts gathering too.Kradamour and nkd,are you both going?Are you from Canada? Ha,how do I add emoticons here? Ron,LOL,nice way to say I’m a crazy voter,my apartment is in a mess because I have no time to clean Frown . I’m quite relieved that MusiquePlus is over for now so I can take a break to play. They created a Pantheon for Adam in order to get rid of Glamberts,LOL.Adam had been dominating the #1 spot for weeks and other fans were not happy,hee hee.     We’re already friends. Met you in Toronto in October for the Adam party and January 29th for Adam’s 29th! Ron’s pal from Syracuse. Great to see ya here. And will see you in Quebec too. What a crazy adventure it’s going to be I think.

    Hi all,

    I’m new here. Ron sent me (I was supposed to say that Smile ) and I’m sure glad he did. Ron speaks fondly of you all. I just love the look of this site, the rules of interaction and, of course, the main topic of interest….Adam! I spend time on other sites, but I’ll be sure to drop by daily and say hi and hopefully contribute something of interest to the conversation.

    I thought I’d say a few words about myself: I’m Canadian. I first discovered Adam when I heard rumours about this Adam guy on AI, and decided to go and investigate. It was fairly late in AI’s season, and the first time I saw him was the night he sang Feeling Good. I’ll never forget it. By the time he reached the bottom of the staircase, I was hooked…”who is this guy!” I couldn’t wait to see him again in a week’s time. Somehow I managed to miss the last show, though, when Kris and Adam went head to head, but I caught the finale and found that I just couldn’t stop thinking about Adam after that.

    I am fortunate to have seen Adam perform a number of times now: Hamilton (AI Tour), River Rock, Wilkes Barre, Toronto, Foxwoods, Cleveland and Albany, and also caught a glimpse of him when he visited Much Music in Toronto January 2010. I haven’t met Adam yet, though, because the Meet and Greets didn’t start until after Albany. I sure hope to get a chance to meet him someday.

    Last weekend I went with Milkyway, TLKC and others to Cleveland to see Monte Pittman. A great show and time it was!

    I’m looking forward to seeing Adam in Ste Agathe at the end of July. How many here are going to be there? I sure hope to meet you all. If I stick with Ron, I should be in good shape.

    Hi Northern Spirit and welcome.

    We’ve crossed paths many times. I too was at Wilkes Barre, Foxwoods and Albany. And of course at the Adam parties in Toronto.

    I was trying to remember when I first was infatuated by Adam. It really wasn’t a particular song (ROF maybe), but it was when Adam was at an AI photo shoot and he looked into the camera with those eyes. I never turned back.

    Haha Northern Spirit…that’s kinda the story of my life…road trips to see Adam and participate in Adam events. Although I did fly twice to see him. I’ve mentioned before that since I’ve been “outed” as an Adam Lambert Fan-atic at work, everyone is anxious to hear of my next adventure. They are jealous…I know it Smile

    Well you have one over me, luval. I have flown only once to see Adam (so far) AND paid an atrocious amount of money for the tickets off of eBay, but it was all worth it to see Adam at River Rock.

Peeps I know who have no idea who Adam is are very intrigued by my trip to Canada, especially when I explain that I am going to meet up with other folks en route and gather with friends at a music festival with fire in St. Agathe. Adam is just the icing on the cake, but such wonderful icing.

    kradamour…so true. I only know two other people who are “traveling” fans. A girl I know follows Dave Matthews and another loves Mumford and Sons. They totally understand the fan “thing”. What makes them great is they both like Adam! But had no idea what he was doing other than knowing of the song WWFM! LOL

    Welcome Mway and NS. Love your long names btw. Can’t wait to meet those of you going to Ste-Agathe. I haven’t had the nerve to tell my family and friends that I am going on such a long road trip when I will be heading back to almost the same location 12 days later on a family trip. For now they just think I am spending the time in Maine. Unfortunately no one else in my immediate circle quite gets my connection to Adam and to those who love Adam.

    Watched SYTYCD and was impressed by all of the dancers. Sasha had some stiff competition this year. The choreagraphy is absolutely stunning. Need to remember to use the mute button when Mary speaks. It’s unfortunate since it really isn’t what she has to say just the extremely irratating way she says it.

    And somehow I have become Krad. Not loving that, gotta say. Rolls Eyes I might have to change my poster name. Maybe adamour, it’s more timely anyway. Hmmm…how does one change one’s name, I wonder? And what would be short for adamour…addy? Bah. Don’t like that one either.

    Mils, I went to see the movie Bridesmaids yesterday. It was supposedly in Milwaukee. Does Milwaukee really look like that?
    Great movie, BTW! Like watching a train wreck, but at the end everyone is pulled safely from the wreckage unhurt and better for having had the horrible experience. And I was the only person in the theater, a private showing, so cool!

    Every week during AI8, I felt the same way. I couldn’t wait to see what Adam was doing that week. He never disappointed. Such a voice, such a presence!

    I’m not going to open the link about Sasha because SYTYCD is about to start here and I’m gonna watch it”live”!

    I have decided to upgrade my iPod and try to add some Adam songs from Idol, but I can’ seem to find a Youtube downloader for Mac that’s free and that works. I had no trouble in the winter biut those sites don’t seem to come up any more. Does anybody have any suggestions for me?
