After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    Read an interesting post/article (AQD?) about album sales in the UK sinking to a new low. “With the savage turndown in the economy and rampant illegal downloading’s already massive effect on sales exacerbated . . . .” (Couldn’t go further without paying three figures for a subscription.)

    Also said: “Rihanna album lowest-selling No.1 in recent history.” (10,000 units) – “first time an album has gone to No. 1 on such meagre sales since modern records began . .. in 1994.”

    Only gonna get worse, I guess.

    How are these performers going to make money? Touring and all the rest of the non-recording possibilities, I guess.

    Ultimathule…I keep saying all along…ILLEGAL DOWNLOADING!!! How things have changed with technology in just a matter of months. Very Creepy. I think Adam and his team are thinking….thinking…thinking…and definitely are in the forefront of the new music business.

    I have had an itch in the middle of my back for years. I mentioned it to someone at work and they have it too! There is no bite, no nothing. She asked her doctor & he said it’s common…a nerve that is near the surface of the skin that itches!! Very simple.

    I thought it was so funny when early in the interview last night Adam says “I remember events from what I wear”. Isn’t that what we do about him?

    Those boots in the garden are killin’ me. lol!

    Are you serious, Adam??? (Obviously not!) This outfit is so terrible it’s hilarious. Especially in such a zen setting. Can you imagine being out for a stroll and running into a tall dude with this outfit on? Hey, I needed that laugh today. It’s just clothes. Gotta love that people just comment on the pretty garden and kindly skip the polka-dot (from a distance) shorts.

    That’s one of the more insane interviews I’ve ever seen – the outfit – the setting – the perky gal – the laughing at whatever – reminded me of a 1950’s movie travelogue – loved it all.

    Tried to dl it to put on iTunes and then iPod but url wasn’t recognized – any hints? Want to preserve this one – lol.

    So I went to mj’s archives & found the Sukkiri interview video from March of 2010 but it said “not available due to copyright blah blah blah……”, but I really remember the chest “feel up” from back then! And I think the girl that was clapping her hands when Adam wailed is the girl that did today’s interview. Her English is perfect.

    Hi ALL! I’m staying up – at least until midnight – to see what I can see. I’m not caught up – just logged in and the first thing I saw was Adam in the garden with polka dot shorts (which are really spikes, right?) ROTF LOL!!

    You won’t believe this but on the way home from work, I saw a woman on the subway wearing a frilly sweater, a pair of denim shorts and black wellies and I wondered to myself ‘How does someone stand in front of the mirror and think “That looks good”?’ Then I come here to a photo of Adam wearing the same combo!

    I’d like to see what they make of those spiky shorts in customs.

    Well he says you can rock anything if you rock it with confidence.

    I have two comments about the garden interview, maybe three:

    1) Flip flops. More skin please. Lose the gloves when it is 100 degrees. More skin BB. Yer killin us!

    2) Lucky mosquito.

    3) The boots are my fault! LOL. I wish! I praised them so much in my Des Moines recap, that when Adam read it, he knew how much fans love them.

    The boots are great with the tight jeans and even with the zebra pants, but just no with those shorts!
