Definitely not a movie bio now – especially that one.
Plus, wouldn’t an acting role pretty much take Adam out of circulation for months?
I don’t know a whole lot about movie production, but I do know that it requires an intense concentration for a prolonged period of time. I eventually do want to see Adam on the big screen, but only when both the time and part are right for him. Now and this part, not so much…
Adam has two more singles to promote. He has had some timing issues todate: BTIKM was released in a haphazard way over Christmas and then NCOE was released just before he left the US to do other things (good things but other things.) He needs to be in the US and available for promotion.
Also, the new TV season is starting and Adam’s management will want to get him on as many shows a possible with his new single. And Jingle Balls are coming up, too. That’s a better form of radio promo than the kind he did in the Spring. He reaches a much larger audience and connects with other artists, some of them quite big.
Maybe down the road. For now, something tells me his managment will want to work the cd as long and as effectively as they can.
I agree with you all. I thought it was so strange. I also agree DcglamThat it could be just to raise hits or interest for him or he could be working on something in the UK. Who knows, but he did write on his facebook to “wait and see if Adam Lambert would play him or maybe his son.”(I am paraphrasing) I am glad no one thinks this is real.

Hi guys, I will be posting a live thread for the Mezamashi event. Adam is slated for a short 20 minute set from 1230-1250p Wednesday in Tokyo, which will be 1130-1150p Tuesday night here on the US East Coast. There is a twitter list, but a lot of it will probably be in Japanese. Haven’t heard of any streams to this point. In any case, the thread will be there in case we get pics or vids later.
Not sure about threads for the remainder of the Japan concerts yet, will let y’all know when I decide.

Hi Ron & Ulti! I have a few planes to catch as I’ll be joining my parents for part of their “trip of a lifetime” to Alaska! We will be staying near Denali National Park for a week then moving down to the coast at Seward for another few days. It will be quite a trip – looking forward to it!

After seeing the interview and watching him sing with the new look, and in fabulous clothing that we all have seen before, gotta say, he is absolutely gorgeous. His hair is stunning. And, I don’t know if it’s just for Japan, but he seems to have made a return to more eye makeup, as we predicted with the light hair. The eyebrows look very sculpted again too. I’m just glad for no pink lip gloss. And no gloves. The gloves just get old for me.
But, that sneer is killer. BB is really channeling Billy Idol.
Funny, the other day on our way to the beach, kids plugged in their IPod, and were trying to find music we all liked, and they put on some old stuff, and suddenly, there was some of Billy Idol’s quieter songs, I asked who it was, and they told me Billy Idol. I asked, “since when do you listen to Billy Idol?” Son #2 retorts, ” mom, all the best music was in the 80’s, all my friends listen to it.”
I just laughed, thinking of Adam’s new look, and his love for 70’s and 80’s music. Then, son #1, just has to toss out, but he’s not a high pitched screamer, because that’s what mom likes. Ugh. Anyway, then they put on the new Beach House, and I liked that and kept driving.
TeeHee. My new shipment arrived from AmazonUK yesterday. It came by Royal Mail. Love that. Too bad it’s not a QueenBert DVD or CD. Must have. Oh, and that 3D IMAX we’ve been dreaming of, I’ll take that in the Deluxe Queenbert version. Complete with protective eyegear for GB and a leather repair kit for laces. Thanks.

Me, too, luval. You could see the guy in the beige jacket struggling to understand. A collar, maybe? We’ll have to see. The long jacket, draped T-shirt and medges really go well with platinum Adam. Brian is wearing yellow LOL. At one point he wasn’t even playing – he had his hands up-in-the-air, grooving to the music.
Looking more and more as if Trespassing will be the single imho but we will see.
Many thanks eywfler for posting a thread for tomorrow’s concert. HOPING that at least one Japanese fan with a video camera doesn’t feel the need to be totally in the moment.

Mils, I have to listen to the interview again later but I think he said he bought new gloves. I would assume they are fingerless and we will see them soon.
And no pendant on his outfit! But it’s still my opinion that he looks washed out with that hair. I just hope he doesn’t get a buzz cut or something like it.
Eta: can’t bring it over here with my iphone but on AQD there is a picture of Adam shopping and he’s wearing regular gloves… Not fingerless. They look like motorcycle gloves.

It was so lovely to watch Adam singing Trespassing and that interview. Japanese seem to appreciate him much, so many people interviewing. Thinking about the single; it might be Trespassing, it is the most rock beat song on the light side of the album. That might be a good move after singing Queen. But it can also be so that he sings it now because I guess Japanese love rock… Adam been there “in Rock” magazine etc. Single could still be Cuckoo. But I am quite sure it’s either of them. I love them both. TP has strong beat and attitude, Cuckoo is so fun and great dancy beat.
I’ve been very sentimental today, don’t know why. I almost started to cry when I listened to the Map. It is so beautiful and touching, like Nirvana too. How can someone create and interpret songs like that so perfectly… The best thing is that it’s not a calculated move, there are true feelings behind them. Is there any other artist who talks about his/her true thoughts and feelings like Adam? I mean tells feelings about one’s love and partner, of own insecurities, past experiences… I haven’t followed any other artist but I guess they usually don’t tell that much about their inner feelings…
Love MAP, too, LadyNorth – the youngest ones in the family as well – just something so exquisitely beautiful about the vocal – transporting.

Don’t know if many of you are as fond of Jordin Sparks as I am – voted for her to win (only 17). Love her voice and find her very beautiful. Adam’s never mentioned her to my knowledge, but think they would look gorgeous together on stage. (My youngest daughter’s husband is black, and they have two girls, the older of whom could be Jordin’s little sister – a knockout.)
Have voted for an odd variety of Idols – Jordin, Taylor, Archie (but never the all-night sessions like Adam’s where my fingers ached.) And no one since Adam. Doubtful ever will again (liked PP, but knew he was going to win so didn’t bother – don’t know if I would have even if I didn’t know – become rather apathetic where the show is concerned).
MJ’s gang still waiting for the Judge(s) announcement – Ryan’s back – so could come at any time, I presume.
Meanwhile have something great coming up tonight – hoping for some kind of communication. And what will he wear!!

LadyNorth – have six adult daughters, and Olivia (9) and Anna (7) – two of my grandchildren – are fans of Adam. They visit a lot – especially in the summer when out of school and often play him in the car and here at the house. They love to dance to the fast tracks and argue over “Underneath” – the younger one says it makes her feel too sad, but the older takes my iPod and plays it by herself. (Interesting – they much prefer his new music to the Queen music – probably more in sync with what they normally listen to at home.)
Speaking of T-shirts – got the Queen/Adam black one with the tour dates on the back – really like it – bought it big to just wear with jeans – recommend buying it.
ultimathule, I have many times thought how much kids of that age understand the meaning of the lyrics? Sometimes they are not so clear even for crown ups, there are a lot of lyrics that leave a lot for interpretation. What do you think? I don’t have kids so I have no idea. Do they understand for example what is sang in Shady, what Adam is singing about?
And, fwachdr – you’re so right (others have mentioned this, too) – about creating interesting merchandise – a really missed opportunity.
Have the Trespassing original music print which sold out in about five minutes even at the three-figure price. Yes – definitely not on the ball.

Don’t believe they understand the true import of the Shady lyrics, LadyNorth – in these faster songs they just love the beat. I checked with their Dad before letting them play the CD because of the “F” word in Cuckoo – think I mentioned that he just laughed.
But, you’re correct, there’re lyrics that are definitely less than ambiguous – it’s one of those situations where you just wait till you see they have questions.

Thank you, mils, for asking. Yes, I’m feeling much better. I’m already realizing that I have more energy just one week post-op than I did for the past year or so when all I knew was that I’m tired, just don’t feel well, etc. Didn’t know those were symptoms of my problem.
I just received a call from my ex-fiance who is an OTR driver. We last spoke a month or so ago while Adam was doing the shows with Queen. He knew that I had been following Adam since 2009 and that I was planning a trip to Winstar. He had stopped at Winstar a time or two and said it was so big that he had been lost and almost never found his way out to the right exit. Anyway, he was just driving along and BoRap came on the radio. He immediately called me and asked if that was one of the songs Adam sang with Queen. When I told him that it was, he said he just couldn’t imagine anyone singing that song with the kind of voice that Freddie had. I explained the difference in their voices and told him that next time he came over to sign some checks for his brother (I still manage his neurologically devastated brother’s checks and related nursing home expenses), I would show him a video of Adam singing it so he could see. It was so funny, he didn’t know the name of the song, he just said “I just heard that song you like that starts off ‘Mama’ (and he’s singing the Mama in tune).

(Funny story: DH didn’t know that I put the tape on the trees and called the city to find out why our trees were marked to be taken down!!). Ulti, I voted for Jordin Sparks at the time. Haven’t voted for anyone since Adam except once for Haley, when I thought the judges were being overly harsh towards her. Am tired of WGWG’s…didn’t even watch last season until May.

I have to tell y’all that Adam helped me clean my house today.
This has been a wild and crazy summer over here beginning with the birth of my first grandchild at the end of June. After a recent week at the beach, I will spend a long upcoming weekend in NYC. As soon as I return, I am expecting house guests. Therefore, I need to clean my house! House cleaning is always at the very bottom of the list of priorities in my life. I just can’t get motivated. Well, today I played the entire Trespassing CD twice at full volume, so I could hear it throughout my house. Wow…. talk about motivation to get moving! I was so involved with the music that I didn’t even realize that I was cleaning. LOL! Thank you, Adam….
