So, if I order the Instinct magazine, will it come with a storage locker? My Adamphernilia collection is getting to be rather, um, well, plentiful.
And, once again, do the people who produce that mag. even know of the onslaught that comes with Adam on the cover? Or, can they even imagine the number of straight women who will be suddenly on their mailing list?

Wow! The one of Adam in the pinstripe suit is pure perfection. It fit him like a glove and the blue complimented him coloring. That photo is my absolute favorite.

I can’t find a place to listen to the radio interview. When I click on the link I get a page with Adam’s picture on it but no link for interview. I even tried going to podcasts but can’t find anything but a picture. What am I doing wrong?

So excited about the latest Queen rumor! Starting to worry if all these Queen appearances will help or hinder his solo career. My gut tells me that it will help him – what do you guys think?
Just ordered “Instinct”…easy and cheap for such gorgeous pictures! I live in the Bible Belt with not much chance of buying it locally. The nice young man who took my order did not make any cracks about my being a woman, altho I would have laughed if he had!!!
Just called my local Barnes & Noble and they do carry Instinct but only have the April issue. Will have to check back.
I’m hoping that they will be somewhat connected, Texas. Through the Queen gigs, Adam will be receiving exposure to new audiences that include not only his ever faithful Glamberts, but also Queen fans. I look at it as another platform for him, kind of like the way he speaks about American Idol. Even though there will always be some peeps who feel that Adam is not the one to “fill in” for Freddie, there is no denying Adam’s vocal ability and showmanship on stage. I’m also hoping that all of this translates well to higher sales for Trespassing. The bonus part of all of this, IMO, is that he will be earning some good $ that can be used towards his own tour, which I imagine he will begin working on later in the summer.
I think these Queen concerts will be great exposure for Adam. I’m not concerned about it at all. When will he ever have an opportunity like this again…to sing with Queen! Wow. A dream come true.
Just ordered my Instinct magazine, too, over the phone. LOL, they’re probably wondering why all these women are ordering it. Can’t wait to get my Fault magazine, too.
To all who ordered Instinct over the phone…did you feel comfortable giving your credit card?
I checked at Books a Million and they said they would have it this weekend, if they don’t I will order one online.

Not sure how I feel about the three stars. I would have to agree somewhat about the “calculated”. But hey, Rolling Stone, why do you think they picked the “calculated” song for a single? It’s because they are so darn scared to offend someone in radio or the media with a more daring single. The rollout of this album seems quite a chess game, and I am not too sure the first two moves were good ones.

Not sure – I just saw the tweeter said it was in their new issue, and another tweet said it was the one with Obama on the cover. I’ll head back to Twitter and update this if I find the exact issue noted.
ETA: According to a tweet, it’s the May 10 issue.
I’m lovin’ the comments under that backing vocals demo. Adam must have spent HOURS in the studio doing harmonies on all of these songs – they ALL have them, and it’s ALL him. The sound is so RICH, as one commenter says. He doesn’t use his falsetto much when performing, but it is STELLAR!
Anyway, thought some of you might enjoy this. BBC did a documentary about Prince some time ago, and someone just uploaded it to YouTube. It’s about 1 hour, but some parallels with Adam (artistically) are very evident. Watch before BBC takes it down LOL!

luval, funny, I didn’t think twice about it. I give my card number over the phone a lot but only to people I call myself. This guy seemed genuine, nice, and the phone number is one that’s posted on their site. I guess I’m just overly trusting. I think it’s fine. If you wait long enough, you can order a back issue online, if that makes you feel more comfortable.
The last sentence in that RS review is a winner. Actually agree with the article pretty much. NOW – onto the album – that’s gonna be interesting.

I had an Adam moment today – a real one! “right here in River City!” – and I almost missed it!
Coming home from school – very tired – got on the highway and turned on the radio, 94.9 The Point “music of today” whatever that means…a pretty good station, not just “rap and crap” as riskylady says…they played WWFM one or two times and NCOE is listed for them but I have never heard it. Anyway, I was half listening and thinking that what was playing sounded familiar but couldn’t quite place it…and then realized all of a sudden that it was BTIKM! I felt like such an idiot! But it is like when you see someone out of their usual context – your boss at the grocery store, for example – and you don’t immediately recognize him/her.
Adam on the radio just didn’t compute! and of course I have heard BTIKM live at the promo and the acoustic version on lots of vids but have only heard the studio version once (I downloaded it but I rarely listen to music at home).
Okay long post but IT WAS REALLY EXCITING!!!!!

Then searched for NCOE on the site and it gave me a bunch of Adam info, including a list of his “top tracks”.
Ready? One of them is “Want”. Another is “Is Anybody Listening” from the Ten Commandments. Also “Time for Miracles”. And “No Boundaries” and “Mad World”.
Peeps, this explains a lot, gotta say. If even the stations that are playing Adam’s new music are presenting this stuff as his “top tracks” for the casual listener to find…

Reading the last few posts on the HDD thread at MJs, looks like she took a preemptive strike before the argument about the May 29th adds date for NCOE got virulent. But that didn’t prevent some decent theories from being put forth, i.e. THIS: Album drops May 15th, possible AI appearance just before or just after, then SIX radio concerts from May 18th through May 26th.
In the meantime, the song is getting play from some stations, and hopefully with the requesting we’re doing more will come on board. So, by the 29th, with album buzz and reviews, CHR will hopefully pick up the song.
Pretty sure we can expect Rolling Stone and MTV to give good love – that early article about Adam storming the dance floor after hearing some tracks was positive.
He’s getting soooo much PR – so many magazines, so many interviews, and there’s more coming both here and abroad. I think we have to have some faith and patience. He certainly doesn’t seem to be brooding about anything.
So, I got brave and requested the song on Facebook and Twitter and the website of a couple of stations. We’ll see.
But – don’t like the word “strident.” Does J.R. actually mean that or is he just oblivious as to what the word means.
“Magnificence” almost makes up for it.
Also had a small Adam moment today–after drooooling over the new Instinct pictures which I could not get off my mind, I proceeded to give my small yorkie his annual Spring haircut still thinking of those pictures!!! After finishing, my husband looked a little puzzled as I admired my workmanship–he remarked that the part was too much to one side, his hair stood up and there was a piece hanging over his eye….Oh well, I said. I may rename my dog ADAM!!!! this lurker is grounded—-

Maybe it’s just me, but I especially love hearing Adam on the radio. Maybe it’s because I’m happy that so many other people are listening to that station and hearing him too – I always turn it up so loud, hope I don’t blow the speakers out in my car!
