Well heck, no wonder I can’t maneuver there either. I was totally oblivious to the goings-on and legal wrangling. Glad things are okay now.
See, kradamour, I’m good. I have heightened my conjuring skills by associating with you, seeing how you conjure up Adam and festivals on occasion. My time spent traveling with you and adamized last summer wasn’t for naught (remember my post to her this morning about learning to minimize my packing for travels).

Good night peeps. I’m gone too. Been working several days on an annual audit for a conservatorship that I help a friend who is a nationwide trucker manage for his brother. Just got the final court document done and out of the printer, so seems like a good time to shut it all down for the night.
May we all have sweet Adam dreams tonight.
Oh, and I jumped back in to grab my “pick & choice” of the lollipops. Bedtime snack. It’ll hold me til we get to the real celebration in a couple of weeks.
Been thinking about what’s been said about the length of the snippets. One benefit may be that, if these are being circulated widely, they may be heard by those outside the fan base. And, as the snippets offer a side of Adam at odds with his previous album – and prevailing views of Adam’s music – it may bring in those who dismissed him the first time around.

Ultima, totally agree about the snippets/new fans. I have been so delighted reading comments under the YouTubes of NCOE and the snippet YouTube, new people, especially GUYS, STRAIGHT GUYS, “coming out” as Adam fans, saying how cool and talented he is.
There have been some very interesting mentions in articles too – a review of One Direction in the HuffPost, mentioning Pink, Adam and Kelly as good examples of people who take their voices to the edge. A college blog about whether Joshua Ledet could win Idol, mentioning that he’s perceived as gay, saying Adam didn’t win in spite of being “insanely talented.” Another college blog, just comparing the final six to Adam, who broke Idol.
Lots of surprised people on Twitter, too. Just loving it.
Even the last Twitter party had a number of guys asking questions. And a few people who obviously were casual fans.
I think it’s starting to spread, and I love it!
I applaud the strength of character of those of you who are abstaining from Tresspassing snippets till May 15th. Does that include the acoustic performances? I couldn’t do it. No way. No how. I had a an Adam Sampler cd that I had made ages ago to listen to in the car on continuous loop and I finally made one of the new music plus the EMAs. Well, it got me so distracted on a drive to another city that I kept missing turn-offs and was a so late to a very important family ceremony that I missed the whole thing! Still, every time I hear it I love it more and want more, and it just builds up the anticipation to May 15th if that is even possible. Of course my cds won’t arrive till a few weeks after that since they are being sent overseas, and I just hope that I won’t have left for my pre Adam and Queen cruise by then.

I want to try to for just a while but I am weak. I am an Adam addict and that hasn’t changed thanks to all the enablers I hang out with!
Now I am also a Trespassing snippet addict! It’s so good!
I too am addicted to the snippets. Especially Broken English. Can.Not.get enough of that song. But I may try to start exercising more self-restraint and ween myself off of them so that there is a clear period of no snippet-listening prior to album release. But honestly, when it comes to Adam I have no self-discipline. So we’ll see what I can manage.

Regarding the length of the snippets – iTunes recently increased the length of preview snippets from 30 seconds to 1:30. So all iTunes snippets are 1:30 now. We have extra long snippets for a few Trespassing tunes only because one set of snippets were released in Australia iTunes and then they were switched out for other snippets. But the fandom ninjas captured the original snippets before they were switched out and spliced them together with the new snippets.

That is so heartening, riskylady, that the snippets are having a widening effect. And what cwm said about the Australian ninjas capturing the two snippets explains the length of some of them.
As for “abstaining” – Lent is over – lol. Actually, I sort of play it by ear (bad pun) and listen to the snippets when – you know how it is – you just gotta.
I love Adam’s new backup singers and the richness that they add.
Do we know how they happened? Not an immediately obvious choice for this type of music, IMO, but so glad someone thought outside the box!

Congrats glambotgram on your M&G!! I thought about trying to fly up and actually looked at Ticketmaster at 1020AM today. Could have gotten balcony and also an orchestra row BB. Not too shabby but I didn’t do it. Too much to still plan and organzie for London trip. But this would have been so easy. Maybe…?
I am on team “hold off on the snippets”. I have been so busy anyway that not much time to devote. Even the Duke has asked where’s the ADam music!
I don’t want to get tired too early because I will want to play these over and over in both cars and at home when the CDs arrive. We’ll see how good I’ll be. I will however watch all youtubes, ustreams of performances upcoming in May and of course Jimmy Kimmel.

Apparently BTIKM is getting a decent amount of airplay internationally. More than I thought. Which is great!
Whoa! the sh*t has hit stubhub…222 seats available. That is about 15% of the venue capacity. (shakes head) This does not bode well for the Trespassing tour. Prices up to $379. Frankly, I think those upper prices are unrealistic, but you never know. If peeps get desperate for tickets…but on ticketmaster they still have tickets in pretty desirable locations.

Hello you all! I am joining the party and outing myself as a very long time (since Satisfaction performance on AI) Adam fan (addict). Started lurking on MJ’s and then moved to lurk here mostly. Just want to say that I really enjoy this thread, have grown very fond of all you virtual people and hope one day to meet up at a concert with some of you. My husband and I have seen Adam at the AI 8 concert in Vancouver, BC, Fantasy Springs, River Rock Casino and Puyallup. I drove to Bellingham to meet up with fans I had never met for lunch once. I don’t think I have had a day without listening to FYI cd at least once. Trying not to overdose on snippets, but don’t think it will make any difference to my enjoyment of trespassing. I have wanted to join you guys for a long time, but just didn’t have the time or patience to deal with the process. I really wanted to be able to follow the Queen thread. Wish we could go so bad. We go on family holiday tomorrow for a couple of weeks and hope to catch Jimmy Kimmel performance in LA on the way to Vegas. Haven’t gotten ticket confirmation yet, but will lurk somewhere near if not. Do I qualify to play in your sandbox?

Here is my take on WB and many unsold tickets. I really think there are too many shows all lumped in together in that week.It’s all watered down. People may have bought tickets already for the New England shows or the Springle ball that week. After all it’s really not a Adam concert. Just a few short songs and perhaps people know this and say “why bother”? If someone can check every venue that week and see the unsold tickets, I’ll bet there are MANY in every one of them. I haven’t heard one that’s sold out. No money floating around. Isn’t it prom season? Graduation time.
