Adam has apparently wrapped up his US radio promo tour, at least for the moment, as April begins. Above we see Adam as he spent the last several weeks – hard at work with promo. This is (hopefully) finally the last month – for real – before Adam’s new “Trespassing” album will be released. The album is scheduled to drop on May 15. Will we get a second single ahead of the album release date? Will Adam perform on American Idol sometime in the next several weeks? We’ll know soon – in the meantime enjoy the chat!

Of course, the anniversary party might just include, um, favorite videos, lists, and “corner-worthy” material.

    Ahem. Just sayin’….

  2. Kradamour says:

eywflyer, thank you for updating us on the expenses and asking for our contributions. It is obvious that this site means so much to us! I am grateful to have the opportunity to contribute.

Check this one out, 21 minutes of snippets all put together.

And BTIKM is already conveniently skipped? Now what does tell you?

  5. ultimathule says:

Donation made – thanks so much, eywflyer.

  6. Ron says:

Dear mieps, thank you for our, what was it, hour long chat! I enjoyed every minute. Don’t know what happened to my throat! “Chokehold”. I guess you choked me up. Smile Look forward to seeing you again on Skype!

Birthday party, mils? I’m there. I mean, here. Now, who’s going to bring what? I make the best Pot Roast in the world but I don’t think that that’s appropriate. Let’s rule out kale or anything else that goes into a juicer. Wink

eywflyer, Two good looking guys in the same photo for the month of June? I might start coming around here more often! Wink

  7. milwlovesadam says:

turquoise: I have a feeling that since it has been out for so long, and downloaded, etc, it is not needed anymore.

  8. milwlovesadam says:

Ron, I agree. No real food. Let’s stick to the “fantasy food ” theme. You know, things we wish we could eat.

I’m bringing the Good ‘N Plenty.

You know, because I like licorice.

  9. mieps says:

Same here Ron, I’m glad we finally met. It was nice to discuss the early days!
    Looking forward to next time.

  10. Kradamour says:

Ooooh, I’ll bring the eggplant casserole!

And we could admire these photos while we enjoy it:
    http://twitpic.com/99eb2f
    http://twitpic.com/99ebrm

But we would def have to set the table up in the corner…

  11. Ron says:

    Glamburgers. I’ll make the Glamburgers.

    I need a barbeque though.

And briquets, lighter fluid and a match.

    I can do this. Smile

  12. milwlovesadam says:

Kradamour, we’ll need those Glamtowels from GN.

    And, floor scrapers.

    Perhaps a Glambulance or two.

  13. milwlovesadam says:

It sounds like we have a partay!

    Wonder what nkd will bring?

  14. Ron says:

Those photos are optical delusions illusions. Smile

  15. milwlovesadam says:

Oh, but science shows that when an illusion occurs frequently enough, and is well documented, with photographic evidence as well as the frequency, intensity, and, um, number of eyewitnesses, as occurred during GN, well….it must be fact.

That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it.

( I know, I know, I boarded the crazy train a long time ago).

Have any of you tried Seat Geek for tickets instead of Stub Hub. It list all tickets for resale from everyone offering them and includes Stub Hub. I used it last tour and had such good luck that a couple others asked for the name of the site I got my tickets from. Eywflyer,I don’t post a lot but I do appreciate the site and using PayPal is so easy. Thanks for the opportunity to help out. I vowed not to play Adams music in my car until I got new music. So far I’ve played Crystal, James and I even put in a Mozart one. Today I decided to dig out one of my Taylor Hicks cd’s as he was on Idol this week. Brought back lots of memories. As you can see I have varied musical taste. May 15th can’t come soon enough as I need Adam’s new cd in my life.

  17. Kradamour says:

Just listened to the youtube Trespassing “snippet” album posted above (thank you for posting!)…and tried to listen to a live album in my head while it played …can.not.wait.for.the.tour! I love everything so far, but I think that some of that is because having seen Adam live a few times, I can pretty much hear/imagine a live performance through all the production.

And for that matter, can.not.wait.for.the.album! I almost feel as though we have already heard it, so much has been done with the snippets. But of course there is more, plus the four songs not yet heard at all…

  19. Ceddies says:

Oh, and perhaps we could persuade HoppersSkipperMiners to come out of lurking and join us and bring her basket of lollipops.

Was gonna say that we will need someone to provide the pool because a poolside party is so fun. You know that some of us will be off in the shallow end. Devil

  20. Kradamour says:

JoJosie, just took a look at Seat Geek – wow! A search engine for tickets…brilliant. I just bookmarked it.
Thank you so much for sharing!

    Horse Puckies. Laugh Laugh Laugh

With just the right lighting, even I could appear to be an … upright person! Laugh

I’ll bring the macaroni salad too. Wink

( I know, I know, I boarded the crazy train a long time ago).

Yes, we all climbed aboard with the full knowledge that this was gonna be a wild ride. Adam had us “out there” before his run on Idol was over. We knew something/someone special was in our midst.

  23. Kradamour says:

Ceddies, do you remember HopperSkipperMiner’s carpet bag? Always filled with just what we needed!

  24. Ceddies says:

There is also Seatquest.com. It pinpoints the exact seat location in a concert venue. I haven’t tried it since looking for GlamNation tickets, but I guess it is still around.

  25. Ceddies says:

kradamour, I think it was a carpet bag instead of a basket of lollipops. Yes, she had it all in there.

  26. Teri63 says:

Happy to contribute. I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year already! This is such a fun site. It feels safe to flail here, yet it never feels OTT in an obsessive fan way. It seems like everyone here is on the same page (literally and figuratively, lol) in terms of finding humor in/with our fan devotion. Thank you, ewyflyer, for all the work you put into this!

It seems that The Cheesecake Factory already has a menu for our anniversary party!

Start with a Fresh Kale Salad

then a Glamburger with trimmings as you desire…

or perhaps a Glamburger Incredible Grilled Eggplant Sandwich…

To wash it down…a Well-Mannered Dirty Martini (created for corner drinking)

And for dessert…how about a 10″ Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple cheesecake?
    http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/menu/Cheesecake/adams_peanut_butter_cup_fudge_ripple
and to wrap it all up…or more like what will happen if we consume all of the above…a Black-Out Cake!

All this food discussion is making me hungry.
Gonna make some dinner now. #postersgottaeat too! Wink

I can pretty much hear/imagine a live performance through all the production.

I really hope Adam will have dancers this time too. Backup singers are okay, but I want dancers again. In the beginning of GlamNation, I thought dancers would be a distraction. That turned out to be a needless thought because I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated them.

  29. mieps says:

    #postersgottaeat too

    lol Al good find!

  30. Teri63 says:

Awww. One of Adam’s new back-up singers, Keisha Renee, answered a few fan questions on Twitter. Says she’s met Sauli and loves him (he teaches her Finnish), loves working with and hanging out with the group (who wouldn’t?!!!), and loves all the songs but if forced to pick would say either NCOE or BE.

    I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year already!

    Hi Teri63

IKR! I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 years when we all started to meet one another (on that other site) because of this singer Adam Lambert.

These lyrics are from a song from one of my favorite shows and they’ve always meant a great deal to me going back to when I was a teenager. They’re more significant now.

Do you know where this comes from?

    Music Note

Where are the snows of yesteryear
    I didn’t see them disappear
Then all at once a souvenir
    Something from days gone by
    Touches me so
    I long to know
How did the time slip by. Music Note

I was a “deep” teenager. Smile

  32. Kradamour says:

AL, that is totally too funny! Wow, so cheesecake factory can cater our event…

  33. Ron says:

AL, you’re still the top! Kiss

  34. Teri63 says:

Hi to you, Ron! I don’t know where those lyrics come from, and it’s going to drive me crazy. I even tried cheating via Google, to no avail. Enlighten me!

  35. nkd says:

ROTFLMAO! Y’all are a funny bunch!
I vote for Cheesecake Factory catering the party!
I’ll bring this for entertainment of glittery-er times.

I do know that “where are the snows of yesteryear” is from a poem by Francois Villon. A bit of a rake.

    Hi ulti!

I had to look that up myself. Why the snows … what does that mean? Why is that significant?

1965 Broadway musical “I Do, I Do”. Mary Martin sang the song and I think it was called, “Where Are The Snows”.

  38. Kradamour says:

Ultimathule! Wow! I knew I liked you a lot! Definitely you get an A in French lit!

mais où sont les neiges d’antan

More than a bit of a rake, actually. He came within an inch of being hanged once, and wrote a wondeerful poem about it in prison. Pretty gory, about crows picking flesh off the hung bodies…

ETA: btw, the title is “Ballade des dames du temps jadis”

  39. ultimathule says:

I presume it’s a metaphor for the passage of time and beauty.

Well, no wonder I couldn’t identify with it! Laugh

  41. ultimathule says:

    That’s so funny, Ron

  42. ultimathule says:

This sounds morbid – my Irish again – but I dread the thought of Adam’s growing old.
At my age, unlikely I’ll see it, but it bothers me nevertheless. As if it should never happen.

  43. nkd says:

ultimathule, I get what you mean, but I want Adam to grow to be very old! With his Sauli of course!

  44. ultimathule says:

Ah – all the beauty of evening can’t compare with morning’s first light.

  45. ultimathule says:

In a lighter vein – on the WSJ website, there was an article on denim shirts being used as light jackets. There was a pic on the cover page of one that looked rather familiar. Then a couple of guys paraded out (was a video) in a selection of styles. I thought of the pool pic and left a comment basically saying you’ve missed the best one of all. Editor probably wondered who’s this screwball. lol – never miss a chance to put his name out there.

  46. ultimathule says:

There’s a bar in the Irish West that’s calling me. Think I’ll go and dream about it.

  47. cwm says:

AL – you are magical! Great finds on the menu at the Cheesecake Factory! I agree that they should definitely cater our party!

Although I’m thinking that Kradamour should still bring her eggplant casserole. We can never have too much eggplant. teehee

  48. HK fan says:

Did you all know that Adam has had 3 songs on the Itunes top 1000 for the last few days??? WWFM is back in hovering around the high 700’s.

  49. rs says:

eywflyer, thanks for the donation site and giving me the opportuntiy to give a little token of my appreciation for all your hard work on this site, making it our secure and warm home for everything AFL, including our tendency to go a bit “cuckoo” where he is concerned.

  50. adamized says:

Morning peeps. Heading off for my vacation on the coast of Italy. Praying for lots of sunshine. Just think when I return it will only be a short time before the “baby” arrives and then only a bit longer until WB!!! YAY!!!

eywflyer so happy you gave us an opportunity to help support this site. It makes it even more special knowing that we can pitch in as a family to keep the home fires burning.
