Just checked stubhub…prices for Wilkes Barre are NUTS. And look: one person has ten seats for sale. Scalping, much? Stubhub is a necessary evil, but I HATE that peeps make money off of Adam in this way. StubHub should be for peeps who legitimately can’t use a ticket, upgraded a ticket, whatever and have an extra.

Kradamour I agree I was looking on there last night. It’s crazy. I thought scalping was illegal at least I can remember policemen arresting people outside of venues for scalping. I do not see the difference in Stubhub and scalping.

That Brian London guy does a lot of work for a lot of people, so I can see where he may not be available all the time for Adam. I liked Kevin’s work with Adam, so if they alternate, well, good! And maybe Brian London will never be able to tour with Adam because of all his obligations.
Anyway, I watched The Insider last night, and REALLY????? The Dick Clark thing was minuscule, compared to all the other GARBAGE they left in (Bieber’s new supposedly “sexy” video, Bieber’s girlfriend not being able to recognize his new perfume, some guy who gained weight, lost weight, gained weight WTF????
Didn’t they do this to us once before? Or was it ET, their sister show?

Good point, riskylady. I too would be surprised if Brian London was able to do every gig with Adam. He does work with a lot of people. So there may well be some alternating going on.
Am out of town right now but read the posts about scalping. It is legal in both New York and Pennsylvania as well as other states.

What is the story with W/B tickets? I think that sale to a general public starts tomorrow, and according to some posters on MJ there are still plenty of tickets left.(Per venue employee)
I found some Queen/Adam tickets on Ebay. Dirt cheap.No more than $236 bucks for presumably 70 pounds ticket. My best wishes to all of you that will enjoy London concert and I’m crossing my fingers for some decent video. Concert DVD would be a blessing for fans like me who can’t go.

Over the past several years of my “interest” (mildly put, LOL) in Adam, I’ve dumped my anti-Adam blog frustrations on my completely uninterested, but loyal, husband. His take–and I think he’s on to something–is that those people who say such idiotic things are afraid of and bitter about Adam’s success over that of their chosen Idol. It’s like bullying: By knocking someone else down, they feel their chosen artist is bigger somehow. It’s weird. I really don’t care for Kris or Daughtry and am pretty non-committal about most of the others. The day I spend a second or an ounce of my energy putting one of them down just for kicks is the day I know I’ve truly lost my grip on reality. I couldn’t give a shit what they do with their careers, and however successful or unsuccessful they are has no bearing on the success of my fav. I go by the old Bambi adage, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

glambot, that’s exactly what some of the argument was at Mj’s. People were saying, in between the lines, that tix didn’t sell out and arguing that because they weren’t sold out that Adam wasn’t selling well. And that there were tix still left for teh general sale.
You’d think none of those people ever bought tix before!

CWM: I ended up buying a whole new CD/DVD set. But haven’t figured out how to cancel my earlier order. Oh my, I just might have an extra CD. What ever will I do with it?
I haven’t been able to congratulate everyone who’ve bought tickets and will be going to see Adam because this PC has been in the shop. Nothing wrong with it, TG. I had the processor upgraded from 1.5GHz to 2.4GHz. It must have been a real jolt of adrenaline for this computer when they first booted it up after its minor surgery because that’s quite an increase in power! With this, my new HD webcam is fully functional … on Skype.
Skype anyone?! I have a tentative date later on with TLKC. Anyway, I think it’s kind of funny that most here have expressed how much they’d genuinely love to meet everyone which, of course involves a face-to-face encounter, but no one wants to Skype! Northern Spirit and nkd being the exceptions. Or, maybe no one wants to Skype with me. 
I’m thrilled for everyone going to see Adam but especially eywflyer! So happy you’re going to have the M&G!! It’ll be the rare time Adam will be looking up at someone.
If you’re able to tell him about this blog, he should be looking up to you in more ways than one! Adam might have to stand on a box for the photo.

The contestants since series 8 just never seem as close or have as much fun with each other as they did then, or maybe its because I’m not as invested, or maybe its because generally the contestants are so much younger now…Whatever it is, there definitely seems a spark missing since series 8.

Ron, I promise that the photo of Adam and I from the M&G will at least get scanned and posted here. If it becomes a monthly photo it would probably be June though since the concert isn’t until May 25!
It will be interesting to see Adam’s reaction to meeting someone taller than him at a M&G, I doubt that happens too often.
