CWN I also was able to get tickets, but my concern is they will arrive after I have already left for London. How are you handling that possibility?
Kradamour – that’s exactly it – back and forth between Underneath and Shady. Underneath to take you to the depths of your soul, and then Shady to bring you back to consciousness again.
glitterpatti – congrats on getting tickets! I opted for the UPS delivery, which I think they said was a couple of weeks prior to the show. After we had purchased, cher said that she had chosen “local pick-up” (i.e. will call), but unfortunately I didn’t notice that option. Might be able to change it if you contact the venue.
Underneath is outrageously beautiful and moving. I can’t get over how gorgeous and emotional it is.
It’s kinda fun hearing Adam say “she” in Kickin’ In, lol! And I think I’m going to buy some of those outrageously expensive Bose headphones to really hear this music – I am craving a better listen to Niles’ guitar playing!
I finally started to listen to the snippets and my question to RCA is – why wasn’t Shady released as a single. I think it’s phenomenally radio-friendly and could be a huge hit!
ps. kradamour Hope your mum is still doing well – the first couple of days post-surgery are usually the most critical; once you’re past those it’s usually clear sailing.

thanks, Calgary, for good wishes – yes, we are keeping close tabs on my mother for a few days – it was all we could do to keep her in the hospital overnight! She is home now and my sister is with her.
Shady on the radio…absolutely. As we posted above, RCA has exhibited very little faith in Adam, in spite of making him the executive producer. Wonder if the suits regretted that after they started to hear the music? That could explain the first two wussy singles…

glitterpatti– I have same problem and actually leave the USA 3 weeks plus a few days prior to the concert. I’m sure I will never receive them unless they are mailed NOW. My husband obviously is in the same boat. we never saw an option to “pick up locally” so chose the international UPS option (for a hefty charge I might add).
I have sent an email to customer service ,Have not heard back other than a form letter(email) indicating that they will eventually respond to my email and it sounded as if they do this in chronological order of the events (so July 11 and 12 are far off for them). I hope I hear back soon. I would like to recoup some of my delivery money and also know that I will get my tickets. Will keep you posted

Guys, these snippets posted by nkd have the REAL second part of the songs, not a loop with the first part. The lyrics of the next verse of Underneath are GORGEOUS! What a song – talk about naked, this is soul-baring! Will he be able to keep it together to sing on stage? And, I will personally pulverize anyone who makes a sound.

Blows Adele out of the water, if you ask me (even if you don’t, it still does IMHO).
And another thing I love about this album – NOT MONOTONOUS same voice, sound, all through. Different vibes, different rhythms, WONDERFUL harmonies (he must have spent HOURS doing harmonizing tracks) – it’s the most pleasurable listening album I have ever heard. And yet, it all ties in.
This just fits with his philosophy about music, I think. “Does it sound cool?”
Remember that interview where someone asked him, “What’s the highest note you can sing?” and he said, “I don’t know, I don’t even care about that. Does it sound good?”
And, “I don’t believe in genre anymore – it’s all a fusion.”
Same for me, I have never felt this drawn to a song. Sleepwalker was my favorite song for Adam to perform off of FYE. Underneath puts that song to shame. It’s beautifully made and, the song is so raw with emotion, that it seems like Adam made this when he was in the moment. I’m in love with this song and I will probably burst into tears when I see him perform it.

Another option for people leaving the country early, might be having them sent to the hotel. I phoned my hotel the Adria and they said they would gladly receive them. As it gets closer to concert date and and I have not received my tickets, I may see if this an option with Ticketmaster UK. I also did not see a will call choice, and I more than triple checked the options Did Cher order through TicketMaster UK ?

I just sent a tweet to Adam letting him know that I’m opening up my wallet and inviting him to come on over and just take whatever he needs. For some reason I feel compelled to throw money at him. Cuz it’s totally worth it to me to have his music in my life.

glitterpatti and cwm it might be a good idea to put in a request for change of address now. Once they’ve started the delivery process you can’t make any changes anymore, so by the time you leave, it may be too late. I just put in my request and it might take a while before they see it. At the very least it’ll be a burden off your shoulders!
I didn’t see a will call either, and I looked it over three times at least.

Not much in favor of his singing “Underneath” in some big venue. One – couldn’t tolerate any yapping during performance, and two – think it’s almost too personal and raw to sing for a crowd.
Just splurged on the biggie package – and, no, it’s not what you’re thinking – it’s the $279 MyPlay one.

Miss Chaos Well my first thought when I heard that line was that Adam was letting us in, This is me, not apologizing for who I am, I am letting you all the way in, and it is a beautiful release for me, letting you(us) all the way in.
Now I realize it could mean other things but that is what it means to me and that is the context that Adam has been explaining some of the songs.

cwm, glitterpati… I was hoping there would be a local pickup for tickets over in London, but there wasn’t that option, so I also had to opt for UPS delivery here. I hope they’ll send the tickets a month before. I definitely have extra GAs especially on the 12th, the second show. I might do a GA one night and a seat the next. The theatre seems to slope downwards so hopefully a shortie like me won’t suffer overly much. If I have a seat I feel guilty when I get up and dance and people are sitting right behind me.

just had a little Adam moment. Was listening to a couple of the snippets just now, on speaker not headphones, and the Cuckoo snippet was playing. And my 17 year old came out of his room and said,’How come dubstep is OK when Adam sings it, but when I have it on its just noise’….then I played Shady, and he said it was OK (high praise from him considering its Adam), told him Sam Sparrow was on it, and he said he was ‘cool’ (didn’t even know he’d heard of him)…so yay that teens can recognise the modern sounds straight off.
Is it me?? I still can’t figure out what dubstep is and what it sounds like.
Another quick comment… I am taking 2 casual fans/friends with me to London and they can’t understand why I have to go to both shows.
They’ll go to the first concert, but they’re on their own the next night. Only Glamberts understand these things.
luval, I don’t know how iTunes is working, but it could be that count for NCOE was skewed because of album pre-sale. Actually album is #27, much higher than a single. On the other hand I don’t know how many albums must be sold to get to #27 versus single getting to #27.
I recall that if you buy album first and then single, single sale doesn’t count.
I might be mistaken , though.

luval I don’t get it either, my son tried to explain it to me, still don’t really get it. Just thought it was cool that he recognised it straight away in an Adam song, so hopefully the ‘young’ fans will like it when they get to hear it.
An addendum: I have to be fair to my casual fan friends by saying that they didn’t hesitate when I told them that I had to stay back another 4 days to go to the concerts. I gave them the option to leave me and return on the set date, but they immediately paid the extra money to change their airfares too and haven’t complained about the additional costs for 4 more nights in expensive London. One even has to go back by herself later than two of us since she couldn’t get on our flight and actually paid more to change hers. That friend is the one that asked my hubby for “permission” for me to go WITH HER to London.
She’s adventurous so he didn’t even blink when she asked. So he thinks I’m touring with her and has no clue about Queen/Adam concerts. 
Sonisphere 2011 is on VH1 right now.
Oh well…
So happy for all of you who are going to see Adam/Queen.
I’ll be home, in my corner, because I’m sure I’ll be there.
