This is the best news to come home to Kradamour! I’m so happy right along with you that your mom’s surgery went well today. Now I am sending loving and healing thoughts your way as she recuperates.
Wow — don’t know what happened, but my previous post to Kradamour was duplicated instead of my current “album flailing” post to everyone.
Oh well, that’s okay, Krad. You deserve a double post. Now let me see if I can locate the current one.
OmG These songs are so awsome, I cant stop listening to them, this album is going to be a masterpiece. Except for Underneath, I cant not cry when I hear it, I am sure my family will wonder why I have my earphones on and tears running down my face. I just put a big smile on my face when I hear Kickin In. Broken English is pretty awsome too. He sounds sooooo much like MJ in the fast songs. Then the slow ones his voice is so beautiful. GAWWWWWH, these songs are so great. What Idol has ever put out such a beautiful album with that voice, it is so PERFECT! Chokehold, I still love it. I am amazed how his voice changes on some songs, first I thought it wasnt him singing. Anyone notice that?
I just finished listening to the song snippets from the 2013 Grammy nominated Album of the Year. OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I feel that all of these tracks have single potential. Can you imagine how awesome and amazing this next tour is going to be?!?!?!
Underneath is absolutely breathtaking. It only took one listen for me to develop both chills and tears at the same time — the lyrics and the voice! Kickin In seems to have a bit of a disco vibe to it, whereas Pop That Lock gives me some Michael Jackson. Also, I love, just love Shady and Chokehold. My biggest hope is that all of these songs receive the radio play and recognition that they truly deserve.

Underneath breaks my heart and is so beautiful and touching. OOL is just as beautiful.

He says that while kickin in features a great beat & groovy bassline like trespassing, the main feature of the song are his vocals. Kickin In is more Michael Jackson esque. He says that underneath doesn’t have a big beat, an it doesn’t use much instruments,the reason for this to highlight vulnerability. He says that he recorded underneath many times but he wasn’t satisfied. But later w underneath he realised the reason why he wasn’t satisfied was that the song itself is real & vulnerable, it resulted in unease. dflowers, I agree, Underneath does for me what Soaked did for so many others – it’s simply exquisite. Truthfully, I’d love to hear him sing ALL of these songs on Idol, lol! But can you imagine him and Nile Rodgers jammin’ together, performing Shady? Fortunately, the possibilities are endless – I know none of us will be disappointed with whatever he chooses!

So funny at MJs, that the usual suspects hate the songs, so why post in there or listen to them.. What a waste of time to listen to songs of an artist you hate. I dont hate Kris but I dont listen to his songs either, dont see the reason or the time. Anyhoo, people were really flailing over the songs, interesting to see the different ones they liked. I was one of the first ones to complain about NCOE, and I still do, BUT, if it gets him heard, then I say go for it. Then release one of the good ones. But I must say that if people like NCOE they might be a little disappointed in the album, because it sounds nothing like the album. They really didnt need it in there or a single, I am still upset about that.
BUT I LOVE ALL THE SNIPPETS, and so does NELE hehe. Some one also posted something about Adams fans not posting in the Adam threads, but I again cant, because of the stupid people that have their hurtful remarks, I just cant stand that. Oh well.
LOL, Miss Chaos! The most priceless comment was from a supposed Adam fan (???) who said that she/he did not like ANY of the snippets from the album at all. So, how can one be a true Adam fan and not like ANYTHING??? *walks away shaking head*

According to Wikipedia, England and France and Ireland are getting Trespassing on vinyl as well as on CD! I want that!!! (In July. I thought that all countries were getting a simultaneous release this time? guess that couldn’t be worked out.)

You must be relieved that this day is over. I’m very happy your mother’s surgery was a great success, that she’s comfortable, and on her way to recovery. With you by her side, I’m sure she’ll grow stronger every day.
Very happy too that you’re so enthusiastic about the songs. So am I! I share your feelings about FYE. I played it exactly two times and, if I wanted to lay my hands on it now, I’m not sure where it is. From what I hear, Trespassing is going to be the opposite. It doesn’t sound like I’ll be using the ‘skip’ button at all while the ‘repeat’ button is likely going to get a lot of wear on it.
This is the first time I feel very optimistic about an Adam release. Sounds like he has a HIT on his hands to me. Can only hope the rest of the world embraces these songs as much as we seem to be doing here. I think there’s a good possibility for that to happen.

Wow. “Underneath” is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. So hauntingly amazing. It reminds me in a way of “Faithfully” by Journey–not lyrically, of course, but in its vibe.

The vocals in Underneath are out of this world. It is so beautiful and haunting.
I think Shady is my favorite dance song so far. I love how he has that little laugh going in Naked Love. It is so great that he is releasing this song internationally. There is something on this album for everyone. What fun Adam must have had creating his “baby”.

That has been almost tangible, adamized…it is why I am so eager for it! I trust Adam to make amazing music, and he was left alone (pretty much) to do just that(except for the Bruno thing, of course. Bah.), and our perfectionist took his time to make just what he wanted.
I am so happy for him and for us! It must have been killing him to not reveal more earlier!
