I’m keeping everything crossed for The Hammersmith Apollo, thats a very doable venue for those that were staying in London or Stevenage.

Regarding the London shows, my hubby and I are really excited and are confident we can make the revised plan work. The good thing about our original Sonisphere Festival plans was that they were still so loose when Sonisphere got cancelled. We only had bought tickets to the festival and had one night’s lodging booked in a little town near Knebworth. But we had not yet bought our plane tickets or arranged for any other lodging, so we’re still very flexible. We’re just waiting to hear what the new dates are and we’ll build our new itinerary accordingly. So yay – this is one occasion when procrastination actually paid off!!
By the way, my husband is definitely not an Adam stan and is generally an eyeroller at my stanning, but he is genuinely looking forward to seeing Adam with Queen, and thinks that Adam has an “amazing” range and voice. And when I played Adam’s NNN performance of Trespassing for him last night, he was definitely bopping his head and chair dancing and said he thought it was really great. Yay!
dc, I think he closes the show – don’t know where I read/heard that, but I’m pretty sure you’re safe to check back towards the end of the show.
dcglam – yes, my understanding is that Adam closed the show. And the whole show is 1.5 hours long, so he’ll probably be on in a little less than an hour.

Makes me a little nervous, ultimathule. Like I said earlier, NCOE would be safer IMO – but Trespassing is such a great song – just maybe more polarizing than NCOE. It’s so unique and makes such a great performance song that it could really be a big hit. Who knows??
That mic stand really went bouncing on the floor. Yeah – sure reminded me of that ACIGC. Another “screw you” anthem. (He actually looked wild-eyed at one or two points – lotsa energy pouring out during that performance.) Wonder how pissed he actually gets at times about the whole situation.
This was an angry TR, I think. Don’t believe he’d ever perform it like that on Idol. Just not the venue for it. Still like the Seattle/Amazon one the best – little bit of sly humor in it.
Re the epic battle of Trespassing vs. NCOE (lol)
Really, we in the bubble love him, but we are a relatively small bubble. Adam may think that it is time to just go for it, pop the bubble, and see what happens.
NCOE is safe, nice to have the tie-in with Bruno, but…it is safe. And it has a Bruno tie-in.
I would like to see Adam put out a song with some energy. WWFM was a yawner (to me) and BTIKM was a lot of the same.
So I am on team Trespassing.
